The Indian cricket team is going through a difficult phase as the manner in which it is playing, there are pretty good chances that it will lose the two-test match series to New Zealand as the hosts are already leading by 1-0 and in the second match also, the Indians have gotten out for a meager score of 242 in their first innings.

The 2nd test match is being played at Hagley Oval and New Zealand invited the visitors to bat after winning the toss. India didn’t get a good start as Mayank Agarwal departed early at the personal score of 7; however, Prithvi Shaw and Cheteshwar Pujara stabilized the innings. When the situation seemed to be getting better, Prithvi got out at 54 and Indian skipper Virat Kohli came on the pitch.

Virat Kohli has not been in a good form during this New Zealand tour; though as per him, he is in a good phase but his scores are not matching with his words. He once again got out early after scoring 3 runs but it was his decision to take DRS which irritated the Indian cricket fans.

Virat was adjudged LBW out on the bowling of Tim Southee and it was such a clear LBW that Tim didn’t even look at the umpire before starting to celebrate his wicket. Even with naked eye, it was pretty clear that the ball would have gone at the middle stump and taking DRS for this decision was certainly not needed. The Indian fans were certainly not happy with the attitude of the Indian skipper as he wasted a review while 7 wickets were still remaining.

The “Kesari” actor further said that he compared his work with that of Aamir and he knows that it is Aamir who should take this award and not he as what Aamir did for “Ghajini” is pure dedication. Akshay said that he can’t be that person who pretends to take that award from him so he won’t be taking the award, adding that he knows this moment might not come in his life again but still he can’t take somebody else’s award.

He also said that he doesn’t want to upset those who voted for him but he will work harder and hopefully will win it again. He also thanked all his fans for their support.

Now he has shared a video of a Sikh kid who started dancing to the Bhangra beats during an event which was attended by the First Lady of the USA, Melania Trump. The American President Donald Trump visited India for the first time recently and during this visit, Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump visited a Delhi Government school.

A dance performance was done by few female dancers and as Sikh kid heard the Bhangra beats, he could not control himself and started dancing. The best part was that the kid enjoyed it so much that he didn’t even care about the chief guest or the security service agents who were behind him. Later in the video, it was seen that Melania also started looking towards the kid and she also encouraged him by clapping for him. Some other children also started dancing afterwards and the video shortly went viral.

The Indian cricket team is presently on the tour to New Zealand, the start of the tour was great for the visitors as they whitewashed the 5-match T20I series but then they lost the 3-match ODI series by 3-0 and now they have also lost the first test match of the 2-test match series.

Many cricket fans believe that the Indian team is losing because Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah are out of form. While Jasprit Bumrah didn’t even get a single wicket in the ODI series, his performance in the test match was also disappointing. On the other hand, Virat has also not been able to make some big scores in this tour and this has given a chance to his critics to slam him.

Recently, a Sri Lankan Twitter user made a tweet in which he wrote the scores made by Virat across all the formats in the New Zealand tour and called him over-rated while comparing him with Australian cricketer Steve Smith, Pakistan’s Babar Azam and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.

The tweet read,

Soon, former England cricketer Alex Tudor came out in support of the Indian skipper and gave a perfect reply to the hater.

He tweeted,

“Overrated 😏 are you just looking for people to hit up your timeline 🤷🏾‍♂ one bad tour & people coming for the great man 👎🏿”

Virat may not be having a great tour of New Zealand but he has proved himself many times and the manner in which he is scoring runs, he will certainly break many records including the highest number of centuries which is currently in the name of legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Despite the fact that Virat is not being able to make big scores, he is not worried about his form at all. During a post-match conference, he said that when a cricketer plays a lot of cricket, it is bound to happen that he may have 3-4 bad innings but there is nothing to think much about it because it will only increase such innings.

He says that he is batting fine and there are times when scores don’t give the clear picture as a batsman is not able to do the job in the manner in which he wants to.

Last year, Indian Air Force created history and gave a clear message to India’s insurgent stance when a surgical strike was conducted by Indian Air Force in Balakot, Pakistan, on suspected anti-social elements’ training camps. The strike was a success since there were no casualties on the Indian side, and such camps were hit, even though Pakistan denied their presence.

While we celebrate the safe return of our pilots, the journey was quite a tricky one. “End Run”, a short film inspired from events from Balakot, gives a chilling glimpse into the maneuvers and feats pulled off by our brave forces.

Jason Gillespie Tweets On Mankading After Katherine Brunt Decided Not To Mankad Sune Luus

The cricketing world has got divided every time whenever debate on mankading starts; while some are of the opinion that it is against the spirit of the game, there are few who consider it right as it is within the rules of the game.

If you don’t know what mankading is, let us tell you that it happens when the bowler runs out the non-striker if he/she tries to take advantage by leaving the crease even before the ball is thrown by the bowler.

The debate has once again started after the English bowler Katherine Brunt gave a chance to South African batswoman Sune Luus by not running her out despite the fact that the latter was out of the crease even before Katherine threw the ball. This incident took place in an England Vs South Africa match which is being played under the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 that is being hosted by Australia.

While there were many who praised Katherine Brunt, the former Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie was not quite happy with the fact that batsmen are always in a beneficial position. He responded to a tweet by a TV channel which shared the photo of the moment with the caption,

“To Mankad or not to Mankad? A high pressure act of sportsmanship in the #WT20WC has split opinion”

Jason who was mainly a fast bowler was displeased as he feels that every time it is bowlers who have to take care of the sportsman spirit or the spirit of the game while the batters always take the advantage. He asked the batsmen to stick to the laws while playing cricket.

He tweeted,

“I find it interesting that it’s always the bowler who is questioned in these circumstances re ‘spirit of cricket’. The batter is clearly gaining an advantage yet it is always the bowler that has the focus on them. Stick to the laws of the game.”

During one of the IPL matches also, the debate on mankading started when Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin mankaded Jos Buttler in a Kings XI Punjab Vs Rajasthan Royals match. Ashwin was slammed by many for going against the spirit of the game but he countered them with the argument that what he did was as per the law and he will do it again if he gets the chance.
