The name of this village is Chikhalar and you will be surprised to know that not even a single case has been recorded in this village, that too at a time when the whole country is finding it difficult to control the virus. The credit for this amazing achievement goes to the women of Chikhalar who have taken the responsibility of saving their village and villagers from COVID-19 by imposing lockdown and by prohibiting the outsiders from entering their village.

The photos of this village are going viral and in the pics, women draped in sarees holding lathis can be seen guarding the borders of their village which they have sealed with bamboos. Moreover, a poster has also been hanged in which they have stated that the entry of outsiders in the village is prohibited due to COVID-19.

Not just this, the women of the village are also keeping an eye on those who are travelling through the state highway and passing through the village.

Two people have been assigned the duties of going outdoors and completing the important work of others so that the other people don’t have to leave their houses.

As far as the IPL 2021 is concerned, KKR is at the 5th position with 2 wins and 5 defeats in the 7 matches that they have played and Pat Cummins is the leading wicket taker for his team with 9 wickets. He also played a terrific innings of 66 not out against CSK but KKR was still not able to win that match.

We are talking about Shankar Majhi who is from Bihar but presently working as an oxygen tanker driver in Mysuru. As per a leading daily, Shankar didn’t visit his hometown last year when the coronavirus pandemic started and kept on working in Mysuru. Presently, he and his co-driver Mohammed Hakeekath travel to Koppal three times in a week for transporting oxygen.

Shankar Majhi says that several lives depend on oxygen and they both don’t stop even for tea in the eight-hour journey as the situation of the pandemic is quite critical nowadays. He adds that during the time of decanting, they have to be with the tanker and they can’t take rest until the tanker reaches the oxygen plant once again.

Majhi has 5 daughters and 1 son and he says that every time he talks to his daughters, he feels like going home but he can’t do that as his duty is most important for him. Shankar Majhi has been working without taking rest and risking his life as well but he is not given any extra pay for his tireless work and he has no complains about it either. Shankar Majhi said that they had no idea that things would deteriorate to this level and when they see the patients and their family members at the hospital where they deliver oxygen, they forget about the need of taking rest.

However, only Andrew Tye was able to fly back home and other two cricketers were not able to return to their homes in time as Australia has now banned all the flights from India till May 15.

Cricket Australia and Australian Cricketers Association are constantly in touch with the players, coaches and other Australians who are associated with the IPL teams or working as commentators. It is being said that there are around 40 Australians including the skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad David Warner and Delhi Capitals player Steve Smith who are involved in the IPL 2021 and majority of them are quite anxious because of the fear of ban on flights getting extended as league matches of the IPL 2021 will get over by 23rd May.

Recently, the Aussie cricketer Chris Lynn demanded Cricket Australia to arrange for a chartered flight for the Aussie players after the IPL 2021 gets over as CA gets 10 percent of every IPL contract.

However, the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has made it clear that the Aussie cricketers who are taking part in the IPL 2021 should not expect any special treatment. As per a leading daily, PM Morrison has stated that the Aussie cricketers have travelled to India privately and this was not a part of any Australian tour. Scott Morrison further says that he is sure the Australian players will make their own arrangements for returning to the country.

Hopefully things will get in control by the end of the IPL 2021 and not just the Australian cricketers but we Indians will also take a sigh of relief.

Virender Sehwag Reacts To The Secret Code “54” That KKR Used In The Match Against PBKS

The skipper of a cricket team is the most important person of that team because it is he who has the right and the authority to take decisions on the field, though the strategies are also devised before the game with the help of the coach and analysts but on the field, the skipper has to use his instincts and come up with new plans as per the requirements.

In the 21st IPL match which was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab), the management of KKR sent a coded message to their skipper Eoin Morgan during the batting of PBKS. The coded message was given in the form of a double digit number 54 which was written on a placard and this placard was held by Nathan Leamon, the analyst of KKR. From cricket lovers to commentators, everyone tried to decode this message but the correct answer is not yet known.

Talking on this matter, the former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag says that there is nothing wrong in helping the captain from the dug-out but then it will undermine the instincts of the skipper. Viru states that such type of code language is used in army and 54 must be the name of the plan related to using a particular bowler at certain time.

He adds that there is nothing to be angry about it but if the coach and the management like to dictate in this manner from outside, anybody can be made the captain. Sehwag says that in such scenario, there is no room left for Eoin Morgan to show his instinctive powers which he used while winning the World Cup.

Virender Sehwag further adds that he is not saying the skipper should not take help from the dug-out because sometimes even the 25th player comes up with a good advise but the advise should only help the captain and he takes the final call. Viru also says that such suggestions should be used only for reminding the skipper something that he may have forgotten.

While concluding, Viru says that most of the skippers such as Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni are instinctive and they come up with new strategies or change the strategy as per the situation on the field. He gave the example of MS Dhoni and said that when KKR’s Andre Russell was batting, he kept no fielder at deep-square leg or fine-leg; he kept two fielders on the leg-side and remaining on the off-side and it was because of Dhoni’s instinct and no analyst can tell this.

Viru concludes by saying that a little help from dug-out is not bad but there are some occasions when the skipper’s instincts should be given more importance.

Daniel won the Oscar for the Best Supporting Actor for the role that he played in the movie “Judas and the Black Messiah” and like every other winner, he also gave an acceptance speech but during that, he said something which embarrassed his mother and sister who were watching the event from London and left everyone else in splits. Daniel said that he wanted to thank his mom as she gave him everything and he went on to say that his mother and father had s*x and it is amazing. He tried to convey people what he meant as he is here now and he is happy to be alive which he is going to celebrate that night.

This is the excerpts from the speech given by Daniel, “I’d like to thank my mom. Thank you so much for pouring into me. You gave me everything. You gave me your factory settings, so I could stand at my fullest height.”

He also said, “It’s incredible. My mom met my dad, they had s*x, it’s amazing. Do you know what I’m saying? I’m here, do you know what I mean? I’m so happy to be alive, so I’m going to celebrate that tonight.”
