IPL 2019: Virat Kohli Quits RCB Captaincy And Names The New Captain For His Team.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) of 2019 may have started with R Ashwin’s mankading controversy and got all it needed, when the on field umpires missed Malinga’s no ball, but it seems that the worst is yet to come.

We have seen how Royal Challengers Bangalore never got to win the title but still edged a loyal fan following for themselves, with Virat Kohli taking the reign every year and leading them to some unforgettable on field moments.

Recently, according to reports, Virat Kohli seemed so upset and visibly angry that he even stormed into the match referee’s room, after it was disclosed that it was a no ball and his team had a chance to win, if the on umpires were more careful and sincere. He even said that they are not playing any club cricket.

After his team, RCB suffered three consecutive losses this year, Kohli seems miffed. Especially after the defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad, he is clearly not taking these well. Earlier, his team suffered losses against Mumbai Indians as well as Chennai Super Kings.

This third humiliating defeat was too much for him to take, and this prompted his immediate decision to step down from the post of captaincy. Yes, apparently he does not want to continue as a captain for RCB and took this bold decision.

He said ‘one of our worst losses ever. Literally, nothing i can explain’. This clearly states how much humiliating this is for him. He has already decided to hand over the role to Yuzvendra Chahal, one of the most promising in the team.

Kohli said he wants to see Chahal leading the team, as being an integral part of RCB as well as the Indian team, he will get time and opportunity for his future leadership abilities. He himself wants to groom and train him, so that he gets promoted in the batting order as well, when he will definitely hit a six.

So, now we have wait and see how the RCB management reacts to this.

With the Lok Sabha 2019 elections just around the corner, every political party of India is busy choosing their respective representatives and planning their various election campaigns with respect to the moral code, stated by the Election Commission (EC).

Now, we have seen people discussing about the number of voters, with respect to region, class and gender. But we never quite got to know that who voted first, in the democratic nation, which boasts to be one of the greatest in the world.

Shyam Saran Negi from the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, a 102 year old veteran happens to be the first voter. He is that proud individual who cast his vote in every panchayat and also Lok Sabha, assembly elections. He is all set to vote again in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

He exercised his fundamental right to vote in 1951, where he created history by being the first voter in Independent India. He voted in every elections of the country and is a significant representation of exercising your own right to choose the government of the nation.

We were not quite aware of him being the first ever voter until in 2007, when Election Commission tracked him down. This search was kind of conducted when then Indian Administrative Service officer Manisha Nanda first came to know about Negi from the photo electoral roll.

Nanda said she was very interested in Kinnaur being a snow-bound area which prompts early voting. She suddenly came across Negi, then 92 years old and immediately asked election department officers to visit him. Negi even told M Sudha Devi that he never missed to cast his vote in his entire life.

In 2012, Negi was felicitated by then chief election commissioner, Naveen Chawla. He was also appointed as the brand ambassador for Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participating Campaign. Even in 2014, Google made a video featuring our veteran voter for its ‘Pledge To Vote Campaign’. Now he is a VIP and attracts media glares whenever he goes out to vote.

Now, Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal got trolled after he spoke about their match against the Mumbai Indians on Thursday. At the after match press conference, he was asked about Yuvraj Singh’s three consecutive sixes.

And this question by the journalist resonated and brought back old memories for Chahal. He said that he felt like England bowler Stuart Broad, to whom Yuvraj Singh gave six sixes back to back, that is six sixes in an over. In the 2007 World Cup, Yuvraj slammed the opposition with brilliant sixes in an over, a whole over by none other than Broad.

Chahal was referring to the fourteenth over of the Mumbai innings, when Yuvraj gave three superb sixes, bringing back the charm from old times. Now, Chahal while representing RCB, commented that he felt like Stuart Broad, a legendary batsman. He even added that he knew he have to come up with ‘wide googlies’ and give his best of deliveries.

The best was what Stuart Broad himself had to say. He too remembers Yuvraj Singh’s legendary six-hitting over against England. Broad readily came back to reply at Chahal’s jibe by saying hope he too feels like this after ‘437 test wickets’. That is savagely witty.

A famous UP gangster named Baddan Singh a.k.a Baddo escaped 6 UP cops by making them drunk.

Baddo was charged for lifetime imprisonment in 10 cases including mu*der and dacoit. He had reportedly k*lled a lawyer back in 1996 and just in October last year the court convicted him in the case.

After a recent court hearing in Meerut, the cops were taking him back to prison and that’s when he fooled them. Baddo invited them for a liquor party which their friends had arranged. Surprisingly, the cops fell into his trap and let them run away.

Speaking to a news website, Nitin Tiwari, Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut said that they have detained seven policemen including the inspector but they are still not in their senses. They hope to arrest them soon.
