India lost to England by 31 runs at ICC World Cup 2019. However, fans made peace with the defeat as it was just a game but what did not go well with them was the performance by Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni. India needed 104 runs in last 10 overs and Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni were on the crease. Hardik raised the game for few moments but was dismissed in 45th over.

After that, the game went south and seemed like Dhoni did not even try to chase the score and India only made 39 runs in the final 5 overs. Fans are disheartened and angry with the former Indian cricket team captain for not even trying.

Twitterians are slamming the Dhoni-Kedar partnership and making memes on their performance. It felt like they had already given up before even losing the game.

Web Series Gullak, Written By Nikhil Vijay Is His Own Life Anecdote

A web series “Gullak” created by The Viral Fever is streaming on Sony Liv since June 27, 2019. The series is written by actor and writer Nikhil Vijay who took inspiration from his own life tale.

The series revolves around Mishra family which is inspired by Nikhil’s own small family comprising his mother, father and elder brother along with him. Gullak consists of 5 episodes narrating everyday life of a normal middle-class family.

Nikhil talked to length about his web series, how he came up with the idea and how it resembles his own family. He revealed that when he thought about writing something he decided that he would not write anything fictional. He wanted to pen down something to which the audience can connect, which doesn’t look like a fictional story but something real.

He added that after giving it a deep thought, he finally decided to narrate his own family’s story. He told a story about a typical middle-class family which discusses even the smallest thing at length, whether to buy a cooler or not and which color should be used to paint the house, to make is different from the neighbors.

When asked about the title of the show and how he came up with it. He told that gullak or a cash box is the least acknowledged thing the house. Any member brings it someday and other members make it a habit to put coins in it every now and then when it is full, they break it and buy some household item with the money. But none of us any great memory attached to a gullak or the break of it but there are many things in our house, which we bought of its money. So we might not be attached to a children’s cash box much but it plays an important role in our life and it attributes to our life in some way or other.

Nikhil concluded by saying that it is not a saga but a mixture of small tales because a story has a start and an ending and our life doesn’t end this way, it starts randomly and ends abruptly.

The immensely popular and respected spiritual leader Dalai Lama has found himself amidst controversy after his comments on having an “attractive female successor”.

During a recent interview with an international news channel, Dalai Lama was talking about having a female successor and when speaking on the topic he said that If there is a female Dalai Lama then she should be attractive because people prefer not to see that (unattractive) face.

He even maintained his stance when the interviewer asked him to confirm. Dalai Lama said that it’s true that real beauty is inner beauty but he thinks the appearance is also important.

The interviewer took to Twitter and posted-

He even shared his controversial thoughts on refugees and said that a limited number (of refugees) is ok but for the whole of Europe to eventually become a Muslim country is impossible. “Or an African country, also impossible,” he concluded.

Ameesha Patel Lands Into Legal Trouble For 2.5 Crore Fraud

A case has been filed in the Ranchi court against the Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai actress Ameesha Patel , accusing her of an Rs. 2.5 crore fraudulent which she borrowed for her film ‘Desi Magic’ from film producer Ajay Kumar Singh.

Ajay Kumar Singh said he met the Ameesha in 2017 when they held a discussion about the film, which was under production and most of the shooting was completed. However, the film got stuck in the middle due to the financial crisis and that is why I invested Rs 2.5 crore in the film.

Ajay Kumar Singh told in an interview with IANS, We filed a case in a Ranchi court after a cheque of Rs 3 crore bounced. She has not been answering to anything about the money she borrowed from me last year for the release of a film named ‘Desi Magic’. Now she has been ordered by the court and she has to appear before the court on July 8.

Ajay Kumar Singh further added, If she doesn’t come, a permit will be issued against her. We proceeded to court on June 17 with the demand to issue a warrant since she is not responding, but the judge of the court suggested sending a summon by the police before an arrest warrant.

The producer further said gradually, I was told that the film is set to release in June 2019. Later, I was told that it will release in September. But I shall get my money with interest by September.

However, I was given a cheque of Rs 3 crores, but it bounced. When I tried to do a follow-up with her, the whole attitude of Ameesha changed and she said I am a small investor and I should keep quiet. But it is my money.

Well, Ameesha has to be present in the court by 8th July.
