Muharram is the month of the Islamic calendar which marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year after Ramzan it is considered as the second holiest month by the Muslims.

Ashura is said to be the day when Imam Hasan Ali, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad and son of Ali was martyred Hasan is the 3rd Shia Imam and is an important figure in Islam.
