Chhichhore Day 4 Collections Out & The Figures Are Higher Than Its Opening Collections
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Chhichhore” is going pretty strong on the box-office and its success has once again proved that content is the king. The movie is based on the story of a group of friends who study in a university and what happens when they part ways to live their separate lives.
The movie is directed by “Dangal” fame Nitesh Tiwari and it has been made with a budget of Rs. 70 crore. Audiences and critics have praised the flick and the team of “Chhichhore” is overwhelmed with the response that it has got on the box-office.
What has surprised the trade analysts is the fact that the collections of the day 4 (Monday) is more than the opening day collections despite the fact that the prices of tickets on weekday are less in comparison to the cost of tickets on the day 1.
This is really a rare occurrence as per the experts and the movie has earned Rs 8.10 crore on the 4th day while on the opening day, it earned Rs 7.32 crore.
Day 1 – Rs 7.32 crore
Day 2 – Rs 12.25 crore
Day 3 – Rs 16.41 crore
Day 4 – Rs 8.10 crore
Total – Rs 44.08 crore
Till now, the flick has minted Rs 44.08 crore on the box-office and going by the trend, it seems that the target of 100 crore won’t be a difficult one.
This is what Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Chhichhore is rocking… Day 4 [Mon] is 10.66% higher than Day 1 [Fri], despite *lower ticket rates* on weekdays… A rarity in today’s times… Biz at major centers/multiplexes is fantastic… Fri 7.32 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.41 cr, Mon 8.10 cr. Total: ₹ 44.08 cr. #India biz.”
