Twitter Hails Indian Railways For Offering Iftar To A Passenger On Shatabdi Express
In the holy month of Ramadan, the Muslims keep fast the whole day and break their fast in the evening with their families or at the iftar parties which are getting hosted by other people of their community. But things can be a little difficult in terms of breaking fast for those who have to travel in this duration.
Shahnawaz Akhtar who is a journalist by profession was also keeping fast during his travel and recently he took to Twitter and told the whole world about the beautiful hospitality of the Indian Railways staff. Shahnawaz Akhtar thanked the Indian Railways and stated that as soon as he boarded Howrah Shatabdi at Dhanbad, he was given his snacks but he requested the pantry staff to bring his tea a little late as he was fasting. The pantry staff person confirmed from him whether it was his roza and after some time, another person came with iftar.
This is what Shahnawaz Akhtar tweeted, “Thank you #IndianRailways for the #Iftar As soon as I boarded Howrah #Shatabdi at Dhanbad, I got my snacks. I requested the pantry man to bring tea little late as I am fasting. He confirmed by asking, aap roza hai? I nodded in yes. Later someone else came with iftar @RailMinIndia”
