Sonu Sood, the actor who has showcased his talent in Hindi, Punjabi and southern language movies has become a household name now. There is no denying the fact that he was one of the most famous celebrities in India earlier as well but after his noble deeds during lockdown, his popularity has increased manifold and even his critics are left with no option other than becoming a fan of Sonu Sood for the generous person he is.

The lockdown was imposed in India due to the increasing number of coronavirus patients and not only schools, colleges, cinema halls, stadiums, offices, businesses, etc. were shut down but the transportation from one place to another was also banned. The poor, especially the migrant laborers, suffered the most during this period as their little savings were not enough to survive away from their homes. Some of these poor people started their journey for home on foot and the scenes showing people carrying their baggage and kids broke Sonu’s heart.

It was then that he decided to arrange transportation for them and in this critical situation, he has sent thousands of people back to their homes. In simple words, Sonu Sood did what the state governments should have done and for his noble act, he is being worshipped in many houses of India as well.

Yesterday, the “Yuva” actor celebrated his 47th birthday and people took to social media networks to wish the man with golden heart on his special day. However, there was a time when no one used to wish Sonu on his birthday except his family members and then he decided to work so hard that the whole world celebrates his birthday with him.

While talking to a leading daily, Sonu Sood recalled the time when he came Mumbai for the first time. He said that it was 25th or 26th July in 1997/98 and he still remembers that he spent his birthday sitting alone on the Lokhandwala bridge during mid-night. He got calls from his parents and sister and when they asked him whether he has any friend in this big city, he responded in negative. Sonu recalled that he was alone and crying while thinking that there was not even a single person who could wish him in this big city.

Sonu added that he learnt a lesson that day and since then he had worked so hard that after 22 years, the time came when the whole world was celebrating his birthday with him.

Wow, that’s a great lesson to learn! We wish that all his dreams come true!
