“Paisa Laya?” Twitter Lit With The Funniest Memes On Rakshabandhan & Sisters
Indians are celebrating the beautiful festival of Rakshabandhan today which symbolizes the pure love of brothers and sisters. In this festival, sisters tie a thread called Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers who promise to protect them in critical times. While sisters bring sweets for their brothers, guys give gifts or money to their sisters on the occasion.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the manner in which the festivals have been celebrated as it is advised to remain inside the house in order to save yourself from the lethal virus. Earlier, brothers and sisters used to gather at one place and celebrate the festival but due to the coronavirus outbreak, people are compelled to conduct virtual celebration.
Nevertheless, netizens have left no stone unturned in spreading happiness on this auspicious occasion as many rib-tickling memes are getting circulated on the Internet that are pretty relatable as well as make you laugh out loud.

There is no denying the fact that the fear of coronavirus has spoiled the mood of celebration but still people can be seen buying rakhis and other items, though the crowd in markets is quite less in comparison to the last year. However, it won’t be wrong to say that coronavirus has made us realize the importance of family and celebrating the festivals together which we had started taking for granted. Let’s hope that after the things get back to normal, we celebrate each festival in a grand manner.
Happy Rakshabandhan!
