Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is back with a powerful performance in the movie “Chhapaak” which is based on the real-life story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

The flick which is going to release on 10 January 2020 also stars Vikrant Massey and what makes it more special for DeePee is the fact that she making her debut as a producer with it. Fans are already calling it a National Award winning performance after watching the trailer of “Chhapaak”.

Deepika is daughter of Indian Badminton player Prakash Padukone and she has also been pretty active in sports before venturing into modeling and acting. She understands the importance of sports in the life of a person and while speaking at an event, she made a revelation regarding her favourite Indian cricketer. Nowadays, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are the most talked about and most followed cricketers but Deepika’s favourite is not someone who is in the present Indian squad.

Yes, you read it right! Well, talking about Deepika’s favourite cricketer, he is none other than former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid who is also known as The Wall.

Deepika says that she has always respected the former cricketer from Bangalore for what he has done in sports as well as for how he has carried himself in life.

Deepika will be seen with her husband Ranveer Singh in the movie “83” in which she will portray the character of Kapil Dev’s wife.
