For Lata Mangeshkar’s Reaction On Viral Singer Ranu Mondal Internet Calls Her ‘Harsh’
Ranu Mondal, a singer who was just an unsung hero until someone recognized her talent and uploaded her video on the internet. Her sweet voice took the internet by storm and she rose to fame overnight. Netizens were praising the singer for her talent while Bollywood also welcomed her with open hearts. Meanwhile the 90 years old ace singer Lata Mangeshkar took a jibe at her for imitating her.
When Lata Mangeshkar was told about Ranu Mondal, the former says that she is happy if someone gets benefited because of her name and work. Mangeshkar, who has been ruling the Bollywood industry with her voice also added that Ranu will not go far if she keeps on imitating (her).
However, this did not go down well with the twitteratis and they slammed the singer for her harsh words.

She was never a gracious woman . If anybody remember Sudha Malhotra , Lata Mangeshkar was reason that insputevof such a great voice she is not much known .

Lata has always been self centred and snobbish. It was bcause of her, many talented singers cud nt make it. Asha also managed it mainly bcause she gt OP nayyar songs as Lata ws nt on gud terms with him. She also pressurized the govt & got the flyover on pedder rd scrapped.

I always wanted to say this and glad I got a chance to share my opinion, Lata Mangeshkar is good singer but she is nothing more than a singer. She has done nothing good for others. She has only used her popularity for dignity and respect. Never has she ever praised anyone.
