1. Manoj Bajpayee:

He is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of the Indian film industry and he has not only worked in Hindi movies and TV shows but also in films of Telugu and Tamil languages. How much talented actor Manoj Bajpayee is can be understood by the fact that he has won three National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards and many others. Manoj who comes from Belwa, West Champaran, made his debut in 1994 with a very small role in “Drohkaal” and “Bandit Queen” but he became famous after he played the role of Bhiku Mhatre in 1998 released “Satya” and since then, he never looked back.

2. Pankaj Tripathi:

Pankaj Tripathi who hails from Belsand, Gopalganj district started from small roles but with time, he has become one of the most renowned and promising actors of the industry. He has worked in around 60 movies and the same number of TV shows. He debuted in Bollywood with small roles in “Run” and “Omkara” in 2004 but he gained recognition when he acted in “Gangs of Wasseypur” series which was directed by Anurag Kashyap and starred some big names of the present times such as Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadha, etc.

3. Sanjay Mishra:

Sanjay Mishra belongs to Darbhanga, Sakri, Narayanpur, and he started his movie career with 1995 released flick “Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!”. He also worked in many serials including Chanakya (1991) and it is being said that on the first day of shooting, he took 28 takes for his first scene. Sanjay Mishra gained prominence for his funny roles in “Golmaal: Fun Unlimited”, “Dhamaal”, “All the Best: Fun Begins”, etc.

4. Akhilendra Mishra:

Akhilendra Mishra is from Siwan and he has done many roles in TV shows and movies; however his one of the most memorable roles was of Kroor Singh which he played in fantasy serial Chandrakanta. He worked in theatre as well and started his acting career with a Bhojpuri drama. His movie career started with “Dharavi” in 1990 and since then, he has been entertaining us with his wonderful performances.

5. Sushant Singh Rajput:

He is certainly one of the most popular actors of Bollywood despite the fact that he departed from the world on 14^th June 2020. He was a drop-out from Delhi College of Engineering and shifted to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting. Sushant started from TV serials and became a very famous name after working in the show Pavitra Rishta. He left the serial midway to pursue acting career in movies and his debut film was “Kai Po Che!”. After that, he worked in many flicks but his most successful one was 2016-released “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”.

Sushant was basically from Patna and his last released flick in theatres was “Chhichhore” (2019) in which he talked about why a person should not commit s*icide but soon he ended his own life by committing s*icide in his apartment in Bandra. “Dil Bechara” was Sushant’s last movie which was released on a digital platform after his d*mise and it was a huge hit. His d*mise left his fans broken and grief-stricken and till date, many of them are not able to believe that their favourite actor is not with them in this world anymore.

The scuffle between the Bollywood actor Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek has been going on for quite long now and a lot has been heard and said in this regard from both the sides. While Krushna has spoken about the matter and even asked for forgiveness from his ChiChi mama on various platforms, Sunita Ahuja (Govinda’s wife) and Kashmera Shah (Krushna’s wife) leave no chance of taking a dig at each other whether it is on a social media platform or in any interview.

Recently, Govinda also opened up on this matter as he appeared on the talk show of Maniesh Paul and he not only presented his side of the story but also called Krushna Abhishek a liar. Govinda felt insulted as well because Krushna had made a comment in which he called Govinda a villain. However, Govinda also said that the writers might not have written his statements in a right manner. The actor stated that his nephew may have assumed and presumed that something wrong is happening in his life because of the “Partner” actor.

When Maniesh Paul told Govinda that Krushna Abhishek was really sorry when he came on his show, Govinda said that this should be seen off-camera as well. Govinda states that Krushna is a well groomed and nurtured boy but he needs to understand that there is a limit to be used by writers. Govinda also expresses surprise over the fact that Krushna Abhishek is asking for forgiveness on TV shows but he is not getting in touch with him directly.

Earlier, Krushna Abhishek stated in the show that Govinda didn’t even come to hospital to meet his newborns and in response, Govinda called Krushna a liar and said that he visited the hospital four times but he was not allowed to meet the newborns and at that time, he thought that it was some kind of safety procedure which was being followed by the hospital authorities.

The Indian cricket team which will face South Africa in the 5-match T20I series starting today is relatively a less experienced team because the senior cricketers of the team – Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Earlier the team was supposed to be led by KL Rahul but because of his injury, Rishabh Pant has been named as the new captain just one day before the match.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are the three top-order batsmen of India and all three of them have been under scanner because of their slow strike rate. If we analyze their performances in the IPL 2022, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had a poor IPL, the former was slammed not just for his batting performances but for his captaincy as well and the latter may have scored two half-centuries in the tournament but he failed to play a big innings in the crucial knock-out match.

While Rohit Sharma wasn’t able to score a single half-century in the tournament, he scored 268 runs at the strike rate of 120.17. He was also criticized for being very unstable regarding his bowling unit as well as for not making Tim David play in more matches. On the other hand, former RCB skipper Virat Kohli got out for golden duck three times in the tournament, he scored 341 runs with the strike rate of 115.99. Though Virat Kohli played a brilliant knock in the last league match against Gujarat Titans and kept the chances of his team entering the play-offs alive, he was trolled mercilessly for failing in the play-off match.

If we talk about KL Rahul, his campaign in the IPL 2022 can be called a successful one as he led Lucknow Super Giants in the play-offs in its debut season and also performed well with the bat but he was under fire for his slow strike rate, especially in the knock-out match.

It is a general opinion that India misses an explosive hard-hitter in the top-order who can make the most of the powerplay because the top three of team India take their time in settling down.

Now the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid has opened up on this matter and he has made it clear that there are no plans of making changes in the top three for the T20 World Cup; however he states that these three are quality players and their roles will be clearly defined to them. According to him, it is quite obvious that in a high-scoring game, the players will be expected to maintain their strike rate and they will also need to face the challenges posed by the pitch, if there are any.

Rahul Dravid who was speaking in a virtual press-conference said that there would be no change in the top three but in this series, they would be looking at the different top three and hopefully they would give a positive good start and also play as per the situation.

The 5-match T20I series which will be played between India and South Africa will start from today (June 9) and the first match of the series will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. The skipper of the Indian team Rohit Sharma has been rested along with the senior players – Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah and in Hitman’s absence, KL Rahul was chosen to lead the team.

However, things have changed a little as Rahul won’t be able to play the series because of his right groin injury and now Rishabh Pant will be leading the Indian team against South Africa in all the 5 T20I matches. It was definitely a pleasant surprise for 24 years old Rishabh Pant, who was earlier appointed as deputy of KL Rahul in the series, because he got to know about it after reaching Arun Jaitley stadium for practice session.

Rishabh Pant is not new to captaincy as he is the skipper of Delhi Ranji team but on being asked in a press conference as to how he is feeling after knowing that he will be leading the Indian team in the series, he says that he is still not able to digest it as he got the news just an hour ago. Pant says that though it has not happened in good circumstances, it is a good feeling and he is happy. He thanks the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for showing faith in him and also thanks his supporters for standing by him through thick and thin. He also adds that he would keep trying to improve himself and make his life better.

Rishabh Pant who has been leading Delhi Capitals in the IPL for the last two seasons states that playing as a captain in the IPL will be of great help to him because when a person does something regularly, he keeps on improving. He adds that he is one of those who learn from their mistakes and it will surely help him in the future.

Talking about the Indian team’s preparation for the T20I World Cup, he says that as a team they have certain goals in mind and it is quite obvious that they are preparing for the World Cup. He goes on to say that soon everyone will notice changes in the manner in which they play cricket.

Other than KL Rahul, spinner Kuldeep Yadav will also not feature in the series as he has got his right arm injured during the net sessions but till now no replacement has been named by the selectors.

Mithali Raj, the Indian women cricketer, has played an important role in making women’s cricket famous as she represented India for 23 long years but with heavy heart, we have to say that she has announced retirement from all forms of cricket.

This big news was announced by Mithali Raj herself as she took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and made a heartwarming post with the caption, “Thank you for all your love & support over the years! I look forward to my 2^nd innings with your blessing and support.”

In her post, she stated that she started her journey as a little girl who wanted to wear the Indian jersey as representing one’s country is the highest honour and the last 23 years of her life have been the most challenging, fulfilling and enjoyable as well. She further wrote that every time she stepped on the field, she tried her best to make India win and now she feels that it is perfect time for her to hang her boots as the Indian cricket is in safe hands of some young Indian cricketers and there is no doubt that future of the Indian cricket is very bright.

She thanked the BCCI and Jay Shah for the support that she got as a player and a skipper and she also thanked her fans for their love and support. Mithali also added that leadership of the Indian women’s team certainly shaped her as a human and she tried to shape the women’s cricket to the best of her capability. Mithali Raj hinted that she may have taken retirement but she will still like to remain involved in the game and help in growth of the women cricket in India and all over the world as well.

Mithali Raj made her ODI debut in the year 1999 and in her debut match, she scored a century because of which she became the youngest woman cricketer to score a century as she was just around 16 yrs old at that time. Mithali has represented the country in all the three formats – in 12 test matches she has scored 699 runs, in 232 ODIs she has scored 7805 runs and in 89 T20Is that she played she scored 2364 runs.

Currently she is the highest run scorer in the women’s cricket world with 10,868 international runs across all the formats. She has had the longest ODI career and she also holds the record of leading the country in the most number of matches (155). She is also first player to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs and the only woman cricketer to reach the mark of 7K runs in international cricket.

Though Mithal Raj’s retirement was not a surprise as age is not on her side, she has also made it clear that the Women’s World Cup 2022 will be her last tournament.

A movie has also been made on Mithali Raj’s life and it will hit the theatres on July 15. Directed by Srijit Mukerji and bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios, the flick has been titled as “Shabaash Mithu” in which the lead role is being played by Taapsee Pannu.

The “Thappad” actress took to her official Instagram account and posted a photo of herself with Mithali Raj with the lovely caption,

The Indian cricket team is going to play a 5-match T20I series against South Africa starting from June 9 and the first match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. As the COVID-19 restrictions have been removed, all 5 matches will be played at different 5 venues, 2^nd T20I (June 12) will be played at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium, 3^rd T20I (June 14) will be played at Dr. Y.S.R. ACA VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, 4^th T20I (June 17) will be played at Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium and the 5^th and final T20I (June 19) will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

KL Rahul will be leading the team in this series as the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India along with the other senior players – Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the vice-captain of the team in this series. However, there are few former Indian cricketers including RP Singh who feel that Rohit Sharma should have played in the series and there was no need of giving him a break.

Now, the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid has spoken on this matter and answered all those who are questioning Rohit Sharma’s absence from the SA series. Dravid states that Rohit Sharma plays in all the three formats and it should not be expected from him to be available for all the series. Dravid further adds that it is really important to give rest to the players who are an important part of the team.

India and South Africa have faced each other 15 times in T20Is, out of which India has won 9 matches and South Africa has won 6 matches. In a question related to records, Rahul Dravid says that he doesn’t give much importance to records, adding that the team will need to play good cricket for winning the matches and even if it has tasted defeat, it will be a learning experience for the squad.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma had a disastrous IPL 2022 as he wasn’t able to score a single fifty in the tournament and his team Mumbai Indians ended the tournament at last position in the points table with only 4 wins in 14 matches played by it.
