“Khaaya Peeya Kuch Nahi Glass Toda Bara Aana,” Sehwag Trolls Steve Smith For Erasing Pant’s Guard

The Indian cricket fans are not able to stop themselves from praising team India for the heroics that they have shown in the Sydney test match for ending the match in a draw. Many Indian fans are of the opinion that this draw is no less than win as the Australians were in pretty good control for the first four days of the match.

The Indian cricket team had a tough time in this test match as two Indian cricketers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah were racially abused by the Australian crowd and two Indian cricketers Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh pant got injured but still this team displayed huge fighting spirit. On the start of the fifth day, the Australians had a pretty good chance of winning the match as India needed to score 407 runs to win the match while the Aussies had to take only 8 wickets to attain victory.

The Aussies managed to send the stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane back to the pavilion early but Cheteshwar Pujara stood like a rock at the crease as he scored 77 runs of 205 balls. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant played a brilliant knock of 97 runs for which he played only 118 runs.

The Aussies wanted to win this match at any cost and for this, they tried many tactics including the one in which Steve Smith tried to erase Rishabh Pant’s guard but he was caught by the stump camera. Though, Steve’s face was not seen, his jersey number 49 was clearly seen.

The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to praise the Indian squad but he also took a jibe at Steve Smith for scuffing Pant’s guard during the drinks break for unsettling a set batsman.

Sehwag posted the video of the incident with the caption, “Tried all tricks including Steve Smith trying to remove Pant’s batting guard marks from the crease. Par kuch kaam na aaya. Khaaya peeya kuch nahi, glass toda barana. But I am so so proud of the effort of the Indian team today. Seena chonda ho gaya yaar.”

The final and fourth test match will start on 15th Jan at Gabba, Brisbane. Hopefully India will win that match to retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

Sourav Ganguly Pulls Critics’ Legs While Praising Team India For Superb Performance At SCG

The Indian cricket team has certainly won respect and hearts of many cricket lovers after performing great collectively in the third test match against Australia which was played in Sydney. Though the hosts had an upper hand in the test match and they had pretty good chances of winning it, the Indians played a fighting and competitive cricket to ensure that the match ended in a draw.

The Indian cricketers are getting appreciated for their terrific efforts. The former Indian cricketer and the current President of Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly also took to Twitter to praise the Indian players; however at the same time, he also didn’t miss the chance to take a jibe at the critics. Moreover, Dada also wished all the best to the squad for winning the fourth test at Brisbane which will decide the winner of the series as well.

Sourav Ganguly tweeted, “Hope all of us realise the importance of Pujara, Pant and Ashwin in cricket teams.. batting at 3 in test cricket against quality bowling is not always hitting through the line.. almost 400 test wickets don’t come just like that.. well fought India.. time to win the series @bcci”

There were many who questioned the inclusion of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing squad as they felt that they both have already crossed the peak time of their career and they will be burden on the squad instead of being an asset. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant has been slammed a lot because of his poor wicket-keeping.

However in the Sydney test match while Cheteshwar Pujara played a solid and steady innings of 77 runs for which he played 205 balls, Rishabh Pant played a blistering knock of 97 runs (118) despite being injured. Ravichandran Ashwin along with Hanuma Vihari showed courage, resilience and patience while batting as he and Vihari batted for 259 deliveries for saving the match and while bowling, he also took two important wickets of David Warner and in-form batsman Steve Smith.

We totally agree with Dada, do you?

Michael Vaughan Reacts To Tim Paine’s Sledging, “His Language & Sledging Was Back To Old Days”

The Australian cricket team has always been famous for sledging and getting under the skin of the opposition but after the sandpaper gate scandal, there was a surprising change in their behaviour. Due to the sandpaper gate scandal, the then skipper Steve Smith was removed from captaincy and he was also banned from playing cricket for a year so Tim Paine was given the responsibility of taking out the team from the critical situation.

It was quite visible that Tim Paine along with head coach Justin Langer ensured that his team is not as aggressive as the earlier Aussie teams and though friendly banter or chat with the opposition players was fine, sledging and abusive language had no place in this new Australian team.

However on the fifth and final day of the Sydney test match, the limits were crossed and the Australians, especially Tim Paine, engaged in good amount of sledging with the Indian batsmen, especially Ravichandran Ashwin. There is no doubt that the Aussies were the favourites to win this test match as at the start of the fifth day, the Indian team had to score 407 runs to win the match which seemed to be a tough task as India had already lost both its openers while Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja were injured. But the Indian squad was in no mood to give up and despite facing one of the best bowling attacks, the Indian batsmen ensured that they saved the test match and ended it in a draw.

While Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant batted well and scored 77 and 97 respectively, Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari displayed tremendous patience and showed the world how a test match is saved as they both faced 259 deliveries but stayed till the end despite being injured.

The Aussie skipper got frustrated and started sledging the Indian batsmen and he also used the word, di**head for Ravichandran Ashwin. The former England cricketer Michael Vaughan who is known for expressing his opinion on every matter related to cricket slammed Tim Paine, called his behaviour very poor and also said that sledging was back to the old days.

Michael Vaughan tweeted, “Let’s be honest the captain of Australia since sandpaper gate has led this team with great distinction, attitude & never once has he crossed the line of negativity in my eyes, but today his language behind the stumps & sledging today was back to the old days !! Very, very poor!!”

Tim Paine has apologized for his behaviour in a press conference; he says that he is a human and wants to apologize for the mistakes that have been made by him. He has also accepted that his leadership was not good enough and the pressure affected him as well as his performance.

The fourth test will start on 15th Jan in Gabba, Brisbane, so let’s just keep our fingers crossed for India’s victory!

“Tim Paine Doesn’t Befit A Captain, Should Be Removed As Skipper After Series,” Says Sunil Gavaskar

The fighting spirit shown by the entire Indian cricket team in the Sydney test match against Australia is just amazing and even though the match may have ended in a draw, this Indian squad has certainly won many hearts.

When almost every cricket pundit was of the opinion that Australia will clean sweep the series after their win in the first test match as India has to play without Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami, the Indian side clinched a superb victory in the second test match and now in the third test match, they destroyed hopes of the Aussies to take a lead in the series.

The third test match can easily be called an exhaustive one as the Indian players Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja suffered injuries, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj got racially abused by the Australian crowd and on the day 5, the Indian batsmen Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin got sledged by the Australian players, especially the skipper Tim Paine.

At the start of the day 5, the Australians were hoping to win the test match as team India had to score 407 runs and their 2 wickets were already down. With a superb bowling attack, the Aussies were quite sure that they would manage to take 8 wickets but the Indian batsmen stood like a rock between the Aussies and victory. Only 3 Indian wickets were lost in the day as Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari exhibited terrific patience and nerve and stayed on the wicket for 42.4 overs, making sure that India didn’t lose any more wickets.

The frustrated Australian side resorted back to their old playing style and started sledging the Indian batsmen. Tim Paine was pretty harsh on Ravichandran Ashwin and even called him di**head while sledging him but failed in breaking his concentration. As far as the Aussies are concerned, sledging without abusive words is a friendly banter or chit chat but this time they will find it difficult to protect their skipper who has certainly crossed the limits.

Many former cricketers are not happy with the manner in which Tim Paine has behaved on the ground and the former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar is one of them. He has slammed the Aussie skipper and said that he should be removed from the captaincy after the series as the type of behaviour that he showed doesn’t suit a leader. While talking to India Today, Sunil Gavaskar also states that Tim Paine should indulge in less talking and focus more on taking catches so that he can lead his side in a better manner. Tim Paine dropped the catch of the Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari on the bowling of Mitchell Starc which could have been the turning point and may have given a different result.

The final and fourth test match will start on 15th May at Gabba, Brisbane. The Aussies have a great track record of not losing a test match in Gabba in the last 33 years but the Indians will be more confident after this draw.

Which team do you think will win the Border-Gavaskar trophy?

Kartik Aaryan Got Paid This Huge Amount For Just 10 Days Of Shoot For “Dhamaka”

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan certainly has a great fan following, thanks to his acting skills along with his good looks. He has give some back to back hits (“Pati Patni aur Woh”, “Luka Chuppi”, “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” and “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2”) before the coronavirus pandemic hit the world and the shooting of the movies came to a halt.

As the nation is unlocking now, the work in the film industry has also started though with some restrictions. Kartik Aaryan is also back at work and if the reports are to be believed, the 30 years old actor has stuck gold by doing Ram Madhvani directed movie “Dhamaka” for which he was required to shoot for just 10 days.

It is being said that the actor has been paid Rs. 20 crores for the flick which is certainly a very high amount, especially in the times when shooting a movie is no less than a challenge because of COVID-19.

There is no denying the fact that Kartik Aaryan is a very popular actor and also endorses many brands. So his popularity must have played an important role in convincing the makers for paying him such a whopping amount. One more reason because of which the producers may have saved money is the small shooting schedule, on an average; it takes around one or one and a half month in shooting of a mid-size budget movie.

The only other film that has been shot in one schedule after the pandemic is “Bell Bottom” which stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Quereshi, Lara Dutta, etc. “Bell Bottom” has been shot in Scotland and its total schedule was of 30 days. “Dhamaka” was shot mainly indoors and Renaissance hotel, Powai, Mumbai, was also reserved by the moviemakers.

Kartik Aaryan has certainly set the benchmark very high for his contemporaries. What do you say?
