Irfan Pathan Reacts To Fans Calling Hardik All-Rounder, Says “He Is Not In Top 10 In Any Format”

The England v/s West Indies 3 test match series was the first cricketing event that took place after the lockdown which was imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The England cricket team won the series by 2-1 despite the fact that they were lagging behind by 1-0 after the first test match. It won’t be incorrect to say that Ben Stokes played a very important role in the series win of his team as in the second test match, he was brilliant not only with bat but with ball as well.

In the second test match, Ben Stokes gave an all-round performance as he scored 176 and 78 in both the innings and also took 3 wickets in the match. This helped the hosts (England) a lot in leveling the series by 1-1 and also assisted Ben Stokes in getting the tag of No.1 all-rounder in the longer format.

Many former cricketers also called him the best all-rounder of the present times and India’s former all-rounder Irfan Pathan seems to be very impressed with him.

Irfan took to Twitter and wrote that the Indian team will also be invincible if we have an all-rounder like Ben Stokes who can win matches for us.

The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh responded immediately and asked Irfan whether he wants to say that we don’t have a match-winning all-rounder with a laughing emoji.

In response, Irfan gave a funny reply and at the same time reminded Yuvi that he is officially retired.

The funny banter continued and Yuvi also praised Irfan for his cricketing skills.

However, many Indian cricket fans are of the opinion that team India has a wonderful all-rounder Hardik Pandya. In a video interaction, Irfan expresses his opinion and says that he doesn’t agree with these fans. He also admits that though Hardik Pandya is talented, he has a long way to go.

Irfan also points out that Hardik Pandya’s name has not appeared in any Top 10 rankings for any format of cricket. Irfan is strongly of the opinion that the Indian team is better than the rest but they need a great all-rounder who can win matches for them. He also makes it clear that he is talking about test cricket only.

Do you agree with Irfan that Hardik Pandya has a long way to go before he can participate in the race for the world’s best all-rounders? Let us know your opinion.

“I’d Beat Him Up At Ground & Then At Hotel,” Shoaib Akhtar On Sehwag’s “Baap Baap Hota Hai” Remark

The India-Pakistan rivalry is famous not only on borders but also on the cricket field and it was at its peak when former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and former Pakistani player Shoaib Akhtar used to represent their countries. While Sachin is one of the best batsmen that the world has ever seen, Shoaib’s name will always be included in the list of the fastest bowlers of the globe.

The contest between these two iconic cricketers was certainly no less than a treat for cricket lovers and the person who used to see this contest from the best place is former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag. There was a time when Viru used to open the innings with Little Master and watch the contest from the non-striker end. Sometimes, sledging also used to take place but Sachin being a gentleman cricketer always preferred to reply with his bat.

However, Virender Sehwag had no problem in getting engaged in verbal duel with the players of the opposition team and there is one such incident in which Viru said to Shoaib Akhtar, “Baap Baap hota hai, beta beta hota hai” ( A father is always a father while a son will always remain a son). In simple words, Viru wanted to convey that son can’t dominate father.

Virender Sehwag talked about this incident in an award show which he attended in 2010. However, the Pakistani pacer denied it completely and went on to say that former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir can confirm that no such incident took place.

Recently when he was asked about it by a Pak journalist, the Rawalpindi Express said that if this had happened, he would have beaten Sehwag on the ground first and then in hotel also. Shoaib Akhtar claimed that Sehwag wouldn’t have survived if he had made a statement like this.

Here is what the Pak journalist shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter,

“Question: Sehwag said something to you about Tendulkar, (referring to the Beta beta hota hai, baap baap hota hai story)

Shoaib Akhtar: ‘Would he survive after saying something like that to me? Would I leave him? I would beat him up at the ground and then at the hotel’.

#Cricket”

As per Sehwag, this incident happened in a match which was played in Pakistan and the Delhi batsman was batting near the score of 200 while Little Master was at the non-striker end. Viru said that the Pakistani pacer was tired after bowling many overs so he started throwing bouncers. It was then that Shoaib asked Viru to hit a six on his bowling; the latter responded by indicating towards Sachin Tendulkar and said, “Woh toh tera baap khada hai, usko daal woh marega” (Your father is standing there, bowl him he will hit you).

Sachin did exactly what Sehwag said, the Mumbai batsman hit a six as Shoaib Akhtar bowled him a bouncer and then Sehwag said to Shoaib, “Beta beta hota hai, baap baap hota hai”.

Sushant Singh Rajput portrayed the character of MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team skipper, in the latter’s biopic. There is no denying the fact that Dhoni’s biopic was the milestone of Sushant’s career and he played the role to such perfection that sometimes audiences felt that it was Dhoni and not Sushant in the movie.

Sushant also talked about Dhoni in the interview and said that Dhoni is a great man and he enjoyed the time spent with him. SSR also added that attention should be given to Dhoni when he is with you otherwise you would miss what he said. Even Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande recently revealed that the actor wanted to become like Dhoni who remains calm in both success and failure.

A lot is being said and written about Sushant’s tragic end and hopefully the truth will come out soon.

If reports are to be believed, the final part will certainly be made but there are some points which need to be discussed before the shooting starts.

As far as the third part is concerned, earlier Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham were signed as Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty refused to be a part of “Hera Pheri 3”. However, now Akshay and Suniel are back and hopefully we will get to know about the making of the movie soon.

How did you find the CV? Would you like to add some points to it?

“There Was No One To Wish Me,” Sonu Sood Recalled His Lonely Birthday In Mumbai When He Cried

Sonu Sood, the actor who has showcased his talent in Hindi, Punjabi and southern language movies has become a household name now. There is no denying the fact that he was one of the most famous celebrities in India earlier as well but after his noble deeds during lockdown, his popularity has increased manifold and even his critics are left with no option other than becoming a fan of Sonu Sood for the generous person he is.

The lockdown was imposed in India due to the increasing number of coronavirus patients and not only schools, colleges, cinema halls, stadiums, offices, businesses, etc. were shut down but the transportation from one place to another was also banned. The poor, especially the migrant laborers, suffered the most during this period as their little savings were not enough to survive away from their homes. Some of these poor people started their journey for home on foot and the scenes showing people carrying their baggage and kids broke Sonu’s heart.

It was then that he decided to arrange transportation for them and in this critical situation, he has sent thousands of people back to their homes. In simple words, Sonu Sood did what the state governments should have done and for his noble act, he is being worshipped in many houses of India as well.

Yesterday, the “Yuva” actor celebrated his 47th birthday and people took to social media networks to wish the man with golden heart on his special day. However, there was a time when no one used to wish Sonu on his birthday except his family members and then he decided to work so hard that the whole world celebrates his birthday with him.

While talking to a leading daily, Sonu Sood recalled the time when he came Mumbai for the first time. He said that it was 25th or 26th July in 1997/98 and he still remembers that he spent his birthday sitting alone on the Lokhandwala bridge during mid-night. He got calls from his parents and sister and when they asked him whether he has any friend in this big city, he responded in negative. Sonu recalled that he was alone and crying while thinking that there was not even a single person who could wish him in this big city.

Sonu added that he learnt a lesson that day and since then he had worked so hard that after 22 years, the time came when the whole world was celebrating his birthday with him.

Wow, that’s a great lesson to learn! We wish that all his dreams come true!

Shakuntala Devi: A Story That Needed To Be Told

Shakuntala Devi, the newly released film on Amazon Prime Videos is one amazing experience. It depicts the life story of India’s very own “Human-Computer”, Shakuntala Devi. The lady who could calculate faster than a computer. The lady for whom maths was not formulas but magic.

Directed by Anu Menon and enacted by Vidya Balan, the story starts from a small town in Bengaluru where a 5-year-old girl is solving cube roots of large numbers. And thus we are introduced to Shakuntala Devi. And from the very first moment, the film spell-bounds us.

From a small town in Bengaluru to a country as big as England, Shakuntala Devi displays her capabilities everywhere and earns a page in the Guinness Book Of World Records.

Alongside her love for maths, she has a professional life. A life that involves broken relationships, hard choices, and unseen circumstances. But alongside all this, one thing that remains constant and above all is her love for maths.

The character is brilliantly played by Vidya Balan, who has took it upon herself to depict the strong, bold feminist Shakuntala Devi was. The side cast of Sanya Malhotra and Jisshu Sengupta have also played their role to perfection.

The film keeps you hooked throughout and there is never a dull moment. The fun with numbers, the real-life problems, everything adds up perfectly in making a blockbuster film.

This story is our very own and it needed to be told. And it won’t be wrong to say that not many could have done it better than the duo of Anu Memon and Vidya Balan.

Highly inspirational. A must watch.
