KL Rahul Recalled When Chris Gayle Said He Would Smash Rashid Khan Because Of This Reason

The West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle has the ability of making his team win on his own as he is one of the most destructive batsmen of all time. He can be a nightmare for bowlers if he gets going on the field but whatever he does, he does it with a smile on his face. He is rarely seen in an angry mood so Indian cricketer KL Rahul was shocked when he saw the West Indian angry in an IPL match.

KL Rahul narrated a very interesting incident on a chat show Open Nets with Mayank on which he appeared with Chris Gayle. The incident took place in an IPL match which was played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). KL Rahul and Chris Gayle opened in that match for KXIP and Rahul said that in 2018, he saw that Chris was not just desperate to win but he was also hungry and angry.

Rahul added that Gayle took the pledge of finishing Rashid Khan if he came to bowl because the West Indian did not like the way the spinner stared at him.

As per KL Rahul, this was the first time that he saw that Chris Gayle was in give-me mode as the latter asked the former to give single as Gayle wanted to play all the six balls of Rashid’s over. Rahul added that Gayle had a plan and he scored a century in that game.

Rashid Khan was the main bowler of SRH along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Chris Gayle thrashed him for 42 runs in 16 balls. Gayle went on to score 104 runs not out for which he played only 63 balls taking his team’s score to 193/3. KXIP won the match by 15 runs and Rashid Khan gave 55 runs in his 4 overs.

A Firm Comes Up With Haldi & Chyawanprash Flavored Ice-Cream For Immunity. Twitter Goes WTF

The coronavirus pandemic has left us in a state of shock as we can see that the developed countries which had world-class medical facilities were also not able to save many of their citizens from this lethal virus. Now everyone is looking forward to increase their immunity and focusing on including those food items in our diet which can enhance our immunity. The best part about Indian cuisine is that the basic ingredients used in our meals such as haldi, black pepper, cloves, etc. are very good for our health and increasing their use will also make us strong.

However, what will you say if we tell you that now you can also have haldi flavored ice cream? Sounds unusual but it is true that such ice-cream is available in some parts of the country and the company which is producing claims that it will increase the immunity of its consumers. It has been launched by a company based in the Indian state of Karnataka and it has also launched a chyawanprash flavored ice-cream.

While the haldi flavored ice-cream has turmeric along with pepper and honey, the chyawanprash flavored ice-cream has dates and amla along with honey. However, you will also need to spend a little more for these healthy ice-creams in comparisons to other ice-creams as they will be approximately 30 percent costly than other ice-creams.

Twitterati was not able to believe it and some of them also expressed their unhappiness on the launch of such ice-cream flavors. Here are some of the selected reactions:

5 Weird Habits That Became Extremely Normal In 2020 By KillerLaunch.com

Takeaway: We all have picked on some weird and some good habits in 2020, given the current Covid-19 situation. Which habits do you find the most uncanny?

Written by: Saumya Uniyal from KillerLaunch.com

We were all filled with how and enthusiasm while foraying our way into the year 2020. Oh, how we ignored the signs that this was going to be the worst of them all, despite noticing the worst calamities from the beginning of the year- Australian bushfires, Second Libyan Civil War, and the Coronavirus pandemic.

Many didn’t realise the impact of the global pandemic until it hits your country. In India, Lockdown 1 was announced by PM Narendra Modi on 24th March, shutting down all the businesses, schools, institutes, and malls. This was the first time we witnessed a national level lockdown followed by multiple countries from across the world including the US.

From jobs in Delhi to jobs in Hyderabad, everyone was now stuck in their homes, not knowing that the Work from Home will be their new office. Here are the 5 weird habits that became extremely normal in 2020.

Grocery Shopping in Masks

There are many articles and theories that have been published earlier that state 2020 to be the year full of mishappenings. Today its mandatory for all of us to wear face masks whenever we go outside (which we hardly do), mostly to the grocery stores. Masks, that were only linked to doctors has swept its way into every household.

Social Distancing

Imagine standing one foot apart in a line while buying necessities in a shop. Well, you don’t have to imagine it anymore, its a reality! Everyone has been advised to follow social distancing to prevent catching the Covid-19 disease. But, this is India, and Indians have ‘jugaads’ for everything.

Work From Home

While multiple companies have been offering ‘work from home’ for some time, it has not been a functional aspect for most organizations. However, after the lockdown, we all are writing our startup stories and studying our subjects online. Personal achievement, my parents have stopped saying ‘internet ne barbaad kardiya’ now.

Quarantine & Chill

We the Millenials were so used to having the outgoing lifestyle, where the only time we returned to our rooms was to sleep, that quarantine honestly took a toll on our life. Quarantine and chill is the new lifestyle now, and honestly, I love it. We’ve learnt so many things while staying at home- cooking, time management, and guilt-free binge-watching web series

Sanitize Everything!

This one’s amongst the best habits that we picked up in 2020, but can sometimes be a tedious task. Buying vegetables? Sanitize them! Received parcel? Sanitize them! Went outside? Wash your hands! We even composed songs to practice our 20-second handwash routine. But let’s be real, singing happy birthday while washing your hands in front of the mirror is equally awkward and funny.

Former IPL COO Sundar Raman Discloses How Dhoni Became A Part Of CSK In 2008

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has become one of the most popular and most watched sporting events in the last 12 years since its inception in 2008. It started after the 2007 T20 World Cup which was won by the Indian team under the captaincy of MS Dhoni so it was quite obvious that Dhoni was one of the most sought players for all the franchises. However, the Ranchi cricketer was not assigned as a marquee player to any franchise while Mumbai got Sachin Tendulkar, Kolkata got Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh was assigned to Punjab and Virender Sehwag to Delhi.

It was then Chennai Super Kings (CSK) got Dhoni and the former skipper made Chennai his home. The revelation was made by Sundar Raman, the former IPL chief operating officer during a talk show. Sundar Raman said that the only thing that was sure in the IPL 2008 was the assignment of marquee players but Dhoni was without home. He also revealed that no amount was fixed for the icon players as it was decided that they would be paid 15 percent more than what the highest paid player would get.

He also said that as CSK had no icon player, they had more freedom in bidding for the players of their choice. Sundar Raman further told that the organizing committee didn’t have any idea of how to assign players to all the franchises so it was then that a franchise gave the idea of auction. The idea was accepted as they felt that it would be a suitable way to get the players and it would also increase the interest of people in the league.

MS Dhoni has been associated with CSK since the beginning and the franchise has won the IPL three times under his captaincy, making him one of the most successful skippers of the league.

Srikkanth Tells How Kapil Dev Motivated Them For 1983 WC Final After India Got All Out For 183

Cricket is one of the most loved sports in India and the biggest reason for cricket getting so much love of the Indians is the fact that we have won two ODI World Cup tournaments and one T20 World Cup tournament.

First time India won the ODI World Cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev and second time in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the same captain under whom the Indian team also won the 2007 T20 World Cup.

While in 2011, India was among the favorites, nobody expected the Indian squad to even reach the knock-out level in 1983. However, the Indian cricketers played some wonderful cricket and reached the finals in which they had to clash against the mighty West Indians who were ruling the cricket world by winning the 1975 and 1979 World Cup tournaments.

But the Indian team was not able to put up a good total against West Indies in the finals as they were all out for 183. Recently, the former Indian cricketer K Srikkanth who was the part of the 1983 World Cup winning team revealed what motivated them to go out and fight against West Indies with full power despite having a low score on the board.

During an interview, the former cricketer said that they were sure of having no chance of winning the finals considering the fact that West Indies had a very strong batting lineup. He added that they had no pressure as nothing was expected from them in the beginning of the tournament so even reaching the finals was a big achievement for them.

However, the attitude of the Indian team got changed after Kapil Dev gave them a pep talk. Srikkanth revealed that Kapil Dev, the then skipper, may have not told the team that they can win but told them that they have to fight for 183 and should not lose the match easily.

The words spoken by Kapil Dev did wonders and the Indian bowlers got the whole West Indian team out for just 140. As per Srikkanth, winning the World Cup in 1983 was a turning point in the history of the Indian cricket.

Words also have great power!!

This Video Of Sara Ali Khan Expressing Gratitude To Sushant Singh For Guiding Her Is Gold

Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most talented and versatile actors who achieved a lot in a very short span of time. His journey from theatre to TV and then to Bollywood is no less than a fairy tale and it won’t be hyperbole to say that a Hindi movie can be made on his life journey.

People who were close to him or even worked with him speak highly of Sushant. He was adept in physics, had keen interest in astronomy and technology, could write with both his hands at the same time, was a great actor and above all, a man of virtue who never hurt his fans.

Sushant Singh Rajput had a tragic end as he was found hanging at his Bandra residence and it’s being said that he was undergoing treatment for depression but he stopped taking medication for some time now. Ever since his departure, his friends and colleagues from the industry have been expressing their views with regard to the actor on social media and as much we read about him, we feel that he was a truly blessed personality and the nation lost a gem too soon as Sushant was just 34 years old.

A throwback video of Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in her debut movie “Kedarnath” is going viral. In the video, Sara expresses gratitude for guiding her and can be seen applauding Sushant for his supportive nature. She said that whatever she had done in the movie was because of Sushant only and without him, she would not have able to do it. She also gave credit to the actor for whatever Hindi she spoke, adding that he was the most helpful person on the sets.

In the words of Sara Ali Khan,

“I don’t know how I’ve done in the film. I’ve really, really tried my best. But I don’t think I would’ve been able to do any of it without Sushant. He has just been the most helpful person to have had. There were days when I was a little lost, I was a little scared, but he was just always hands-on. Whatever broken Hindi I speak, Sushant has taught me.”

There is no denying the fact that Sushant Singh Rajput’s departure is a big loss for Bollywood and the sad incident has also once again started a debate on nepotism which has been prevailing in the industry for a long time now.

Sushmita Sen Says Nepotism Has Been There In Bollywood Ever Since The Industry Existed

Sushmita Sen, the former Miss Universe and the Bollywood actress, is once again making headlines but this time it’s not for her relationships but for her comeback in acting almost after a decade.

She has made her digital debut with web series Aarya which is being streamed on Disney+Hotstar. In this series, she is playing the character of Aarya Sareen whose hubby gets shot. After his departure, she came to know that her husband used to be a part of a drug racket and then drug mafia starts troubling her and her kids.

Sushmita took break from Bollywood in order to take care of health and she also wanted to focus on upbringing of her daughters. She was diagnosed with a disease known as Addison’s disease which is also called adrenal insufficiency in the year 2014 and this made it more important for her to focus on her well-being rather than acting.

Other than undergoing treatment, she meditated and got trained in Nunchaku, a martial art for improving her health. Talking about that phase, she says that everyone has seen dreams and wants to fulfill them but the most important thing is to remain alive.

The sudden and shocking departure of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has once again started the never-ending debate on nepotism and when Sushmita was asked to comment on it, she said that contest between the outsiders and insiders is not a new one but she feels that the game should be played fairly. As per her, nepotism has been there in Bollywood since the industry has existed; it is just that with the advent of social media, the awareness about it has increased to a great extent.

In fact, in wake of so much of debate on nepotism, Sushmita asks whether it is something that we have realized just now.

Do you agree with Sushmita’s views on nepotism?
