Chunky Pandey Reacts To Daughter Ananya’s First Filmfare Award & It’s Heart-Touching

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is just two movies old in the Hindi film industry but she has garnered a huge fan following and her fans are expecting a lot from her. She started her career with “Student Of The Year 2” in which she acted with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.

The film was produced by Dharma Productions and it was the second part of the “Student Of The Year”franchise. The flick didn’t live up to the expectations of audiences as it was an average movie at the box-office but Ananya got good reviews for her work.

Recently, Ananya won the Filmfare Best Female Debut for “Student Of The Year 2” and her father Chunky Pandey’s reaction was quite awesome in this connection.

While speaking in a press conference, the “Pati Patni Aur Woh” actress revealed that from the age of five, she started rehearsing her acceptance speech for the awards function by standing in front of the mirror and holding a bottle as a mic. Ananya further said that this award matters a lot for her and she also shared her father’s reaction on her winning the Filmfare Award.

As per Ananya, her father wants the award to be kept in the living room of the house so that all the family members can look at it all the day. Chunky Pandey has also spoken on the matter of his daughter winning the Filmfare Award and says that he was so overwhelmed that he had tears in his eyes. It was quite special for Chunky as he has never won a Filmfare Award in his long movie career of 34 years.

Ananya was in the center of controversy some time ago when during a round table interview, she compared the struggle of an outsider in Bollywood with her father not being invited in Koffee With Karan or with the fact that he was not a part of any movie of Dharma Productions.

We congratulate the young actress for her first Filmfare Award and wish that she gets many more in her filmy career!

Jimmy Neesham Reacts To Donald Trump’s Mispronouncing Sachin & Virat Kohli’s Names

The USA President Donald Trump is on the two-day official visit to India which is going to get over by tonight. He is being accompanied by his wife, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner as well on his first visit to India. The President Donald Trump landed in Ahmedabad yesterday where he was given a grand welcome and was received by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

The President Trump visited the Sabarmati Ashram and then he took part in the road show. Afterward, he made way to the Motera Stadium where the Namaste Trump event was organised on the lines of Howdy Modi and the President Trump addressed a huge crowd as the stadium was fully packed.

During his speech, the President talked on many issues but there was something which made him a target of Indian Twitterati. In the middle of his speech, the American President took the name of Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli but he was not able to pronounce their names correctly. While he called Sachin as “Soo-chin”, he pronounced Virat Kohli as “Virot Kolee”.

This didn’t go well with the Indian cricket fans as both these cricketers are loved a lot by the Indians. While the legendary former player Sachin Tendulkar is considered as the God by the Indian fans, Virat Kohli has been touted as the Greatest Of All Times (G.O.A.T) by cricket lovers. The Indian fans considered it as an insult of their favourite cricketers and they went berserk on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

While netizens were busy slamming the President Donald Trump for not researching properly, the New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham thought otherwise and tweeted that there is no need to hate a person for mispronouncing names which he has never heard of in his life. However, he got a little sarcastic when he said that there are already so many better reasons to hate that person.

Here is what he tweeted, “Why hate someone for the pronunciation of names they’ve never heard before when there are so, so, so many better reasons to hate them?”

Later in response to a tweet, Neesham tweeted that he doesn’t see it as a lack of respect as the USA President is not able to remember the names of the states of his own country which have southern border.

His tweet read, “Um, he can’t remember which US states have a southern border. I don’t see it as a lack of respect…”

Indians were not quite amused with what the Black Caps cricketer tweeted and there was someone else who was not happy with President Donald Trump. We are talking about the former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen who took to Twitter to express his unhappiness. In his tweet, he also tagged Piers Morgan whom he called Donald Trump’s friend and told him to ask Trump for doing some research in pronouncing the names of legends.

Kevin tweeted, “FFS, @piersmorgan, pls ask your mate to do some research in pronouncing legends names?”

What do you think of the mistake made by the USA President Donald Trump?

Kitne bowler they? #Gabbar is back 😎👊🏼

A post shared by Shikhar Dhawan (@shikhardofficial) on

Shikhar Dhawan’s campaign of ICC World Cup 2019 came to an end abruptly after he suffered an injury against Australia. After some time, he recovered for the series in West Indies and USA but while he was getting ready for a series against West Indies at home, he suffered a knee injury in a match played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament.

While he was not able to play the ODI and T20 series, his position in the Indian squad also got into trouble as KL Rahul performed brilliantly while opening the innings with Rohit Sharma. However, the good thing was that Rohit Sharma was rested in the innings against Sri Lanka and Shikhar Dhawan batted well as he scored a fifty in one of the two matches that he played.

Considering the fact that he is a pretty talented and reliable player, the team management kept him in the team even after Rohit Sharma’s return and the Delhi cricketer was accommodated by changing the batting position of KL Rahul. Shikhar Dhawan justified the decision of the team management and scored 74 and 96 in the first two games but got his shoulder injured in the third match. His injury was termed as Grade II injury and the team management ruled him out from the New Zealand tour.

We may get to see Shikhar Dhawan in the Indian squad for playing ODIs against the Proteas. The Indian team is presently in New Zealand and nothing seems to be going in their favour as after losing the ODI series badly, they have also lost the first test match against the Black Caps. The New Zealand tour of team India will end on March 4 and then the Indian team will face South Africa in a three match series.

IPL 2020 is also going to start in March end and Shikhar Dhawan is a part of Delhi Capitals (DC).

Dosa is one of the most loved snacks of south India but it has a huge fan following in other parts of India as well. While some love dosa with sambhar, few others love to have it with chutney and there are several people who want to eat this crispy dish with potato filling only. Whatever the choices are, dosa is traditionally served with sambhar and chutney and this dish has a separate fan base. But how will you react to know that there is a street vendor who is serving dosas and idlis with ice-creams?

Mayanti Langer Reveals Nothing Was Working Out When She Met Stuart Binny

Mayanti Langer is one of the most renowned sports celebrities at the moment but she has also faced ups and downs and understands that tables can turn upside down at any time in life. She has hosted many sports tournaments including the IPL and she would never like to lose any good work but she has also prepared herself to encounter any situation.

As per her, she has told herself that any tournament could be her last one so instead of fear and security, she has nurtured a sense of achievement and realised that she should be proud of her good work and accomplishment.

During an interview with a leading magazine, Mayanti says that she is in such a phase where something spoken by her may be interpreted in a wrong manner and it can affect her career in a negative manner.

It was 2007 when Mayanti started her career with the Indian Cricket League (ICL) which was a rebel league. She met Stuart in the ICL only; however in 2009, the ICL came to an abrupt end as neither BCCI nor ICC supported it.

Mayanti said that at that time, nothing was going in their favour. While she had nothing to do after leaving Zee as the ICL was over, Stuart was also facing problems as he didn’t accept amnesty from BCCI. Mayanti further added that things worked out when they both came together.

Stuart started his IPL career in 2010 and in 2014, he got selected for the national side as well, although he was not much successful in the international arena. Mayanti is very thankful to the game of cricket as it has contributed a lot in her life and she feels that it will also help in strengthening her relations with Stuart Binny in the future as well.

She hopes to have a great future with Stuart and as their lives are so similar and cricket is an important part of both of them, she thinks that they can do something together in future.

Have a great future, pretty lady!

After Shami, Ishant Sharma Slams Jasprit Bumrah’s Critics & He Sounds Absolutely Correct

The Indian cricket squad is presently on the tour of New Zealand and nothing seems to be going in their favour. After losing the ODI series by 3-0, the Indians have lost the first test match as well to the hosts and the Black Caps are now leading the two test match series by 1-0. However, the start of this tour was pretty good for India as they whitewashed the five match T20I series by 5-0.

One reason for such disappointing performance of the Indian side is Jasprit Bumrah’s bad form. The Indian pacer has not been able to take a single wicket in the ODI series and since then, he has been facing heavy criticism as some people have started raising doubts over his wicket-taking ability. Jasprit Bumrah’s bad form has continued in the first test match as well as he could take only one wicket in both the innings while Ishant Sharma took 5/68 and Ravichandran Ashwin took 3/99.

Indian pacer Ishant Sharma has reacted over the same and slammed the critics of Bumrah. As per him, it is quite funny that perceptions of people have changed just because Bumrah had some bad games.

Ishant says that for two years, he along with Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin and Jadeja has been taking twenty wickets and now people are raising doubts over Boom’s ability just because he has not performed in one test. He further adds that nobody should ask any questions over Bumrah, especially after what he has achieved for the team since his debut.

Some time ago, Mohammed Shami protected his teammate Bumrah from criticism and wondered how someone can doubt Jasprit Bumrah’s ability just because he has not performed in some matches considering the fact that he has played an important role in many victories of India.

Hopefully, Jasprit Bumrah will be back in form in the second test match and India will also bounce back to leave New Zealand with a win.

Shahid Afridi Demonstrates His Great Sense Of Humour & Left The Crowd In Splits

The Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi is one of the most loved players of the country and he is pretty famous all over the world. Afridi took retirement from the International cricket in the year 2016 after representing his nation for almost 20 years as he debuted in 1996. Presently, he is busy in playing in different leagues including the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in which he is a member of Multan Sultans.

Recently while addressing his supporters, the cricketer who is also known for his sense of humour said, “Main Zyada time nahi lena chahunga aapka, apni batting ki tarah” (I won’t be taking much of your time just like my batting). This left all his fans and supporters with a smile on their faces.

Here is the video:

Shahid Afridi was also referred to as Boom Boom for his volatile style of batting and it was believed that either he would play a great innings or would be out for pretty low score. In simple words, he was “all or nothing” batsman and he impressed everyone in the very beginning when he scored a smashing ODI hundred against Sri Lanka which was the fastest one at that time.

Shahid also used to contribute with ball as he was a quite useful leg-spinner. In fact, once he admitted that his love for leg-spin bowling took all his focus from the batting and he stopped working to enhance his batting.

Besides playing in different leagues currently, Shahid Afridi is also involved in many other activities such as charity and social work. Nowadays he also raises his voice on various matters which he thinks equally important. Afridi is also a YouTuber and recently former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh appeared in his show.

In that episode, Shahid Afridi strongly advocated the restoration of cricket between India and Pakistan and he said that both the countries should play a series which will be bigger than Ashes in his opinion. As per him, politics should not come in the way of cricketing relations; both the nations should leave other things behind and start playing cricket. For this purpose, he recommended both the sides to sit with each other and solve the issues by talks.

What is your take on this matter? Let us know.
