Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian cricketer, may have been out of the team at present due to his poor form but he will always be remembered for leading India in the historic win against Australia in the 4-match test series in 2020-21. The then skipper Virat Kohli returned to India for the birth of his first baby after the first test in which the Indian squad suffered a humiliating defeat and it also recorded its lowest ever total of 36 runs in the second innings.
In Virat Kohli’s absence, the team was led by Ajinkya Rahane and India scripted history by winning the test series by 2-1. Moreover, it also breached the record of Gabba where Australia had been invincible for nearly 33 years. However other than for heroics of the Indian youngsters, this tour would also be remembered for the racist remarks which were made for the Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and especially for Mohammed Siraj by few abusers during the Sydney test. The pacers were abused on the third and fourth days of the test match and the culprits were thrown out of the ground.
Recently while speaking at an event in Mumbai, Ajinkya Rahane talked about the incident. He said that after Mohammed Siraj once again came to him with the complaint of being abused on the fourth day, he made it clear to the umpires that the Indian team would not play until an action was being taken.
As per Rahane, the umpires stated that they could not halt a game like this but they could walk out if needed. In response, the stand-in captain said that he emphasized on the abusers being thrown out of the ground rather than walking out because they went there to play matches and not for sitting in the dressing room.
According to Ajinkya Rahane, it was very important that their colleague (Mohammed Siraj) should be supported and whatever happened in Sydney was absolutely wrong.
Rahane featured in the recently concluded IPL 2022 for Kolkata Knight Riders in which he played 7 matches and scored 133 at an avg. of 19. However midway through the tournament, he suffered a hamstring injury because of which he was ruled out from the remaining matches of the tournament.
The 53 years old Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK may have departed from this world but it is true that he will always be alive in our hearts because of the beautiful songs that he sang in various languages. However, the manner in which KK p*ssed away has left us with many questions which need to be answered as soon as possible otherwise we may lose another gem which we certainly can’t afford.
KK was in Kolkata on May 31 as he performed over there in a college fest at Nazrul Mancha but as per the eye witnesses and the videos available, it is quite clear that the singer was very unhappy with the management because the air-conditioning facilities were not up to the mark. It is being said that the closed auditorium was over-crowded, KK was sweating badly, he was wiping himself with towel again and again but kept on performing for his fans despite feeling uneasy.
After returning to his hotel, he felt heavy and uncomfortable, he was rushed to hospital but doctors declared him de*d on arrival. As per the sources, the initial findings of the post mortem suggest that the singer lost his life due to cardiac arrest and as fans held the organizers responsible for this unfortunate incident, the police has also registered a case of unnatural d*th in this regard.
While majority of Bollywood celebs are paying tribute to the singer, few including Armaan Malik are raising their voices regarding the better management of live concerts. Armaan Malik has demanded that medical and emergency services should be made available in the concerts as he has himself seen and performed in shows where the singers are not provided with proper facilities but they still perform as they don’t want to upset their fans.
Here is what Armaan Malik tweeted, “Concerts in India need better mgmt, medical & emergency facilities. I’ve seen and been part of far too many shows that don’t serve the right conditions for us to perform in. But yet, being the artists we are, we continue with performing coz we don’t wanna disappoint our fans.”

Some Twitter users also echoed with the views of Armaan Malik and this is how they reacted:

singers have to stand for the better arrangements! anyone in the audiences could've died due to suffocation & no oxygen. audience as well as artist both need better facilities. strict action need to be taken on management
It's high time our country stop taking artists for granted :). They risk everything for their audience, their beloved ones , mostly fans :). This is so painful & heartbreaking to see our artists going through all these https://t.co/33GbI11M2M

I myself have been in situations where both the artist and audience were suffering so much cause there was just very little space and way too many people..lack of air, lack of space, everything going out of control…THIS HAS TO STOP AT ANY COST!
Please –
Management should improve their facilities . When one is giving all his/her 100% to play their part , you too should know your responsibilities & serve them right condition to perform https://t.co/rrCX5CNFFf
Yahi Kiya KK Sir ne ki Fans ko disappointing na kare..par is bar karte to achha hotaek show hi chhorna tha sirf.,

Please it needs to be taken care of. Too much ignorance has been observed. And what happened yesterday was the last straw.
And to all the Artists, please please take care of yourself first, fans who love you will understand. https://t.co/ZcMg9JVhpn

India really needs to support its artists and know that actors alone aren't artists, singers, dancers, writers etc. all fall to the category and deserve to be equally appreciated and valued.
Let's not loose hope and work towards making India a better home, for evryone.

yes, i dont understand how a man having a cardiac arrest was made to walk fast on his feet to rush out of the venue? he should've been in an ambulance. https://t.co/PqYZEN3LlR
After this all i hope they take some actions and maintain right facilities.
Performing on stage is not easy.
They perform more than 2hr. And giving there best. Medical and emergency facilities are important that would be there first choice to treat the artist good https://t.co/s02ARMUI1S

We certainly agree with Armaan Malik and hope that the management and organizers will take care of these things in future. RIP KK.
The Indian music industry and music lovers are in a state of shock and grief after the sudden d*mise of the Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath who was more popular as KK. In fact, it won’t be wrong to say that people close to him as well as his ardent fans are finding it difficult to come on terms with the fact that he has departed from the world.
KK has sung songs in various languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Assamese, Odia, Marathi, etc. and has won many awards for the superb work that he has done in his lifetime.
KK took his last breath in Kolkata on May 31 after performing in a live concert at Nazrul Mancha where he complained about the improper air-conditioning facilities. While people from the Indian music and movie industry are paying tributes to the singer who departed from the world at the age of 53 yrs, there is one person who is getting slammed left and right for his derogatory remarks on KK.
We are talking about a famous Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi who posted a video in which he talked about KK. He says that there is a lot of excitement as the one and only KK has come to perform at Nazrul Mancha. Bagchi adds that he has seen some videos and there is no doubt that KK is a wonderful singer but at the same time, he also realizes that many Bengali singers are better than KK and though they are as popular in Bengal as KK is yet these regional artists can’t even dream of making as much money as KK has made.
Rupankar Bagchi goes on to ask the Bengali music lovers who KK is and why they are not as excited for them as they are for KK. He takes names of Bengali singers and says that these singers are far better than KK and then he asks fans as to how long they will remain obsessed with Bombay.
Fans of KK didn’t like the video posted by Rupankar Bagchi but after KK’s de*th, this anger grew manifold and soon Twitter was flooded with tweets slamming the Bengali singer:

Like all legendary singers of the 90s, KK also got his break with @arrahman
I simply wonder what the Indian music industry would've been like, without this man. He has gifted us so many talents.
Travel well, KK.
Hope the cretin Rupankar Bagchi gor his answer "Who is KK?"

Still couldn't be able to believe KK is no more!!! Such a gentle man, super singer n a great human being… It's too sad to c this Rupankar Bagchi's words for Kk… We all know one artist always understand other artists value.. same on u #RupankarBagchi … Rip KK..
The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag had a great cricketing career and he was certainly one of the most destructive batsmen we have ever seen playing cricket. The cricketer who played for Delhi and Haryana in the domestic circuits made his debut in the year 1999 and slowly he became an integral part of the team in all the formats. However, there was a time when the Sultan of Multan even thought of taking retirement from the ODI after he was dropped from the team by the then skipper MS Dhoni.
In a recent interview, Viru paaji stated that he made a comeback in the test team after getting dropped for a year in 2008 and played well but in ODIs, he was not able to perform well in the first four matches so MS Dhoni dropped him from the team. He added that it was then he thought of taking retirement from ODIs and keep on playing the purest form of the game only but the legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar stopped him by saying that this was just a bad phase, he should wait, return home, think properly and then take a decision. Sehwag went on to say that it was good for him that he didn’t take retirement as he played for the country in all the three formats for next 7-8 years and was also a part of the Indian squad which won the 2011 World Cup.
If we talk about that tri-series, in the first four matches, Viru paaji scored 6, 33, 11 and 14. He was once again included in the squad after two matches but he failed to make an impact as he scored only 14 in that match. Sehwag was again dropped from the playing XI and India went on to win Commonwealth Bank tri-series by defeating Australia in the best of the three finals.
When Virender Sehwag was asked about the failure of Virat Kohli and whether he should take a break from cricket, Viru stated that there are two types of players – firstly, Virat is one of those who love challenges and they enjoy in such situations, he lends his ear to all the criticism, scores runs on the field and proves his critics wrong. He added that the second type are the players who are like him, they don’t care about who is criticizing them or what is being said about them because they know what they need to do, go, play and score runs.
Do you agree with Virender Sehwag’s perception about Virat Kohli? Do let us know.
Dinesh Karthik, the Indian cricketer who performed pretty well in the recently concluded IPL 2022 has made a stunning comeback to the Indian team as he has been selected in the Indian squad which will play 5-match T20I series in South Africa.
DK who is celebrating his 37th birthday today (June 1) made his international debut in the year 2004 and he has played 26 test matches, 94 ODIs and 32 T20Is for the country. He was not able to cement his place in the Indian squad because of the fact that India already had MS Dhoni as a wicketkeeper and as he was the skipper of the team, it was quite obvious that Dhoni was always a part of the team. Dinesh Karthik kept on getting calls for the national duty even under Dhoni’s captaincy but at that time, he used to play as a specialist batsman or used to keep wickets only if Dhoni was not playing the match.
However in 2018, Dinesh Karthik surprised everyone when he played an explosive innings in the finals of the Nidahas Trophy against Bangladesh and clinched victory from the hands of Bangladesh by scoring 29 runs in just 8 balls. He made a big impact on minds of the Indian cricket lovers with this innings and many started comparing him with MS Dhoni.
In a media interaction after the Nidahas Trophy, DK talked about his comparison with Mahi and said that he is a student of the university from where Dhoni has topped. DK says that while his journey has started and it has provided him with hope, Dhoni’s journey has been totally different.
Talking about his selection in the team, he said that it was a great boost for him that he was even considered by the selectors. DK states that he dreams to play in the purest form of the game and despite Wriddhiman Saha doing well, he is happy to be back in the fold of things.
DK was called back in the Indian squad in the year 2017 but he was not selected after the 2019 World Cup semi-final which India lost to New Zealand. Now after three years, Dinesh Karthik has made a comeback in team India and he is one of those very few cricketers who are proving that age is just a number.
Mumbai Indians, the team which has won the IPL title five times and is considered to be the most successful team of the tournament had a disastrous season this year as it ended the league at the bottom of the points table. MI won only 4 out of 14 matches that it played in the IPL 2022 and the team which was one of the favorites to win the tournament at the start of the season didn’t even qualify for the play-offs.
Recently in an interview, the skipper of MI Rohit Sharma opened up on the failure of his team in the lately concluded league. He said that even though this season was unexpected for them, they would still focus on the positives and lessons that they got in the IPL 2022. He was quite happy with the fact that the unity in the team is intact and everyone supported each other in the group. Hitman, as his fans love to call him, states that now all depends on how they prepare for the next season and they will surely come back stronger in the next tournament. He also added that though they had a poor season, they wanted to end it on a high note by winning their last match and they succeeded in it.
Rohit Sharma further said that having unity in the squad is really a good sign and no one in MI gave up. He goes on to say that he is proud because all of them stayed just like a family, giving their best during the training sessions and working for fulfilling one goal.
Rohit Sharma who is also the skipper of the Indian national team praises the young cricketers of MI such as Tilak Varma and Dewald Brevis who have played some impressive knocks in the tournament. He is of the opinion that some of these youngsters will be big names of the cricket world in the near future.
Though the Indian squad will leave soon for South Africa where it will be playing 5-match T20I series, Rohit Sharma won’t be leading the team as he is being rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) because he has been in bio-bubble for quite long time now. In his absence, KL Rahul will lead the team and everyone is hoping that Rohit Sharma gets his form back before the high-profile tour of England.
We wish Rohit Sharma & Mumbai Indians luck for the IPL 2023!
Each one of us experiences the pain of losing our loved ones, it may be from our family, friends or from our workplace, teachers, etc. but have you ever given a thought as to what happens to their soul after their heart stops working. It won’t be wrong to say that people from medical fraternity experience this unfortunate incident very closely as many patients lose their lives in front of them. So it is quite obvious that they are the people who are likely to face the supernatural events the most.
There are some fortunate people who remain alive to tell or talk about the supernatural activity experienced by them because they manage to get away with it somehow but there are times when people have so close encounters that it is highly difficult for them to escape.
Here we present a creepy short film entitled “The Tag” and its interesting end is something you just can’t miss. The film features Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah Kapur who is making her debut in this field with it and we must admit that her performance throughout the video is quite appealing.
Talking about the short film, it starts at a hospital where a surgeon performs a critical surgery but is not able to save the patient. In the meantime, a guy is seen crying profusely and a girl (character played by Sanah) apologizes to him. Later the same doctor goes to a lift and Sanah also joins him after few moments. The lift stops suddenly and the doctor sees someone coming in the direction of the lift after which he makes every possible attempt to close the lift as soon as possible. This act of the doctor makes Sanah curious and she asks him the reason behind it. What he tells her and the subsequent conversation between the doctor and Sanah is something that will send the chills down your spine.
Don’t miss the end!
