Rashid Khan Gives An Epic Reply On Comparison Between IPL & Other T20 Leagues Of The World

The famous Afghani cricketer Rashid Khan is one of the best spinners of the present time and he played a very important role in his IPL team Gujarat Titan’s title win this year. Gujarat Titans is one of the two new IPL teams which made their debut in IPL 2022 and winning the trophy in the debut year is certainly a big achievement. While Hardik Pandya is the skipper of the team, Rashid Khan is the vice-captain and even if he has not taken many wickets in this season, he has ensured that the opposition batters are not able to score runs freely.

After winning the finals of IPL 2022 against Rajasthan Royals which was played on May 29 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Rashid Khan was asked to tell his opinion in regard to comparison between IPL and other leagues of the world. There is no denying the fact that IPL is the biggest league of the world but still many times we have heard cricketers and former cricketers of other countries comparing other leagues with IPL and some of them even try to make other leagues look bigger and better than the Indian Premier League.

Rashid Khan plays in lot in the T20 league competitions including Pakistan Super League, Australia’s Big Bash League and others, so it makes him the perfect choice for answering this question and in response, he says that being a part of the IPL winning team is certainly the biggest achievement of a cricketer’s career as each cricketer wants to perform well in tournaments like this. He adds that a player has to work very hard to become a winner in a tournament like this and it is definitely a big point of his career.

Earlier talking about the final, Rashid stated that they read the pitch very well and were sure that scoring more than 150 runs on this pitch would have been difficult. He added that his team did well as everyone fulfilled his responsibility and it is good thing that Shubman Gill is a part of his team GT because he is one of those batsmen whom bowlers don’t like to bowl.

As far as the finals is concerned, the toss was won by RR and it chose to bat first but its batters failed in putting up a big total on the board and at the end of 20 overs, RR could manage only 130/9. GT achieved the target in 18.1 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Rashid Khan took 1 wicket in his 4 overs and gave only 18 runs, Shubman Gill scored 45 runs not out for his team and ensured that he stayed till the last and took his team home as the winner.

IPL may have got over but cricket fans don’t need to be upset as the Indian team will be leaving for South Africa where they will be playing 5-matchT20I series starting June 9.

“He Hadn’t Slept Whole Night,” Hardik Pandya’s Childhood Coach Reveals His State After ‘KWK’ Row

The Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya is on cloud nine at present not only because his team Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2022 under his leadership but also for the fact that he has answered all his critics with his performance in a big manner. Gujarat Titans is one of the two new IPL teams and it has certainly carved its name with golden words in the history of the IPL by winning the title in its debut season.

Hardik Pandya has been targeted by many in the recent past because of his fitness issues and his inability to play as an all-rounder but in the IPL 2022, he has made an impact in all the three segments of the game – batting, bowling and fielding.

The Gujarat cricketer went through one of the darkest phases of his life after the controversial episode of chat show Koffee with Karan was aired in which Pandya appeared with his friend KL Rahul. They both got suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India because of the derogatory remarks made by them against women. Pandya and Rahul were in Australia at that time for playing the ODI series but they were suspended and sent back to the country by the BCCI.

Recently, Hardik Pandya’s childhood coach Jitender Singh talked about that phase and revealed that Hardik Pandya didn’t sleep the whole night after getting suspended because he was very frustrated. Jitender Singh further said that he talked to Pandya and told him not to take tension because whatever happened had happened and there was no point in worrying about it. Singh further told his student that he would soon play for the country again and asked him to come to Reliance Stadium the next day as he booked the badminton court for them to play.

According to Jitender Singh, he wanted to instill the joy of playing in him once again and as he sweated, he got freed and this made Pandya realize that he is a sportsperson and this is what he is made for, not for the talk shows.

Hardik Pandya led his team Gujarat Titans from the front in the whole tournament and in the finals, he was also adjudged as the Player of the Match for his all-round performance. He took 3 important wickets of RR – Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetymer and then he also scored useful 34 runs for which he played 30 balls and his innings included 3 fours & 1 six.

As per Jitender Singh, Hardik Pandya promised him that he would not get to hear any negative stuff about the cricketer after the controversy and the coach felt proud to say that Hardik kept his promise, adding that his father must have been proud of him after the historic win.

Though the BCCI has appointed KL Rahul as the skipper of team India for the South African tour in the absence of Rohit Sharma, many feel that Hardik Pandya has put forward a strong case for leading the national team by making GT win the IPL 2022. What do you think about it?

Bihar Girl Gets Prosthetic Leg After Video Of Her Hopping To School For 500M On 1 Leg Goes Viral

There are two types of people in this world – first who don’t give up in life no matter how difficult the situation and circumstances may be and second those who keep blaming others for their failure despite the fact that they haven’t given their 100 percent in achieving their goal.

10 years old Seema from Jamui, Bihar, is from the first group as she didn’t compromise with difficulties of her life and kept on working hard for her bright future. 2 years ago, she met an accident with a tractor after which her one leg had to be amputated as the doctors were left with no other choice. Seema understands the importance of education and she was not willing to let her physical disability affect her studies.

Recently a video was posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter by a news channel which showed Seema hopping on one leg as this was how she used to go to her school every day; her school is around 500 meters away from her house.

The video soon went viral and people praised the little girl for her dedication towards education. Moreover, once again we got to experience the power of social media as Bihar State Education Department came into action and provided her with a prosthetic leg so that she can walk to her school without facing any difficulty.

The photo of Seema with prosthetic limb was shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan with the caption, “‘सोशल मीडिया’ की ताक़त (Power of social media).

The district magistrate of Jamui, Avaneesh Kumar Singh has also gifted Seema with a tricycle and a wheel-chair. Seema expressed her happiness after receiving the help and she stated that she would keep on studying and fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher.

Sanju Samson’s Wife Trolls IPL Broadcasters Like A Pro For This Reason

The IPL 2022 will come to an end today as the finals between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans will be played at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium and we will get the winner of the league. It is certainly a great achievement for Hardik Pandya led GT to enter the finals in its debut season and being the table topper, it surely deserves to be the winner. But on the other hand, Sanju Samson led RR was also very consistent throughout the season and at the end of the league phase, it was at the second spot in the points table.

Though RR has won the IPL once in 2008 under the leadership of former late Australian spinner Shane Warne, it has not been able to repeat its success story and this is its second final in the history of the IPL. Sanju Samson was appointed as the captain of RR in the year 2021 after the franchise decided to release its former skipper Steve Smith due to his poor form and miserable performance of the team which was sitting at the bottom in the points table in the IPL 2020.

The RR team management has also ensured that they buy good players in the mega-auction and make a strong team and after looking at the present scenario, it can easily be said that they have succeeded.

While there were apprehensions in the minds of many in regard to the leadership ability of Sanju Samson, he has answered all his critics by taking his team to the finals of the league. It won’t be wrong to say that people didn’t expect much from RR at the start of the tournament but you can’t expect the broadcaster to be prejudiced against any team.

Recently, Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha Ramesh took a dig at the broadcasters of the tournament by posting a screenshot of a video which showed all the IPL teams excluding RR. Charulatha Ramesh questioned the exclusion of RR players in the omitted video as she wrote, “Saw this animated video showing the race for IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why there wasn’t any pink jersey.”

The next photo which was posted by Charulatha was of the RR squad marching towards the finals with the caption, “AND FINALS! Grateful”.

Which team do you think will win the IPL 2022 trophy – RR or GT?

Brett Lee Has An Advice For Virat Kohli After RCB Got Knocked Out In 2nd Qualifier

The IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore once again broke hearts of its fans as it lost the second qualifier against Rajasthan Royals and as a result, fans’ hopes of RCB winning the IPL 2022 also got quashed. RCB has been associated with the IPL since its inaugural edition of 2008 but it hasn’t won a single IPL title till date despite the fact that it had some big names of the cricket world in its team in almost all the seasons.

Virat Kohli who is a part of RCB since 2008 is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers of all times but he has been going through a lean patch for more than 2 years and his inconsistency with bat has definitely hurt RCB in this season as well. Though he gave indications of getting back in form in the last league match which RCB played against Gujarat Titans, he once again failed to make an impact in the important matches of the team.

Virat Kohli’s form is a matter of concern for not just RCB but the Indian selectors as well because he can play an important role in India’s campaign in the T20 World Cup which is scheduled to take place later this year.

The former Aussie cricketer Brett Lee who dominated the cricket world with his pace and lethal bowling has some advice for the former Indian skipper. In an interview, Brett Lee states that the most difficult thing is when Kohli doesn’t score runs, mostly the team also doesn’t perform well. Brett Lee further says that when Virat was in purple patch and scored 800-900 runs, RCB also performed pretty well and a lot more is being expected from Kohli.

Brett Lee is of the opinion that may be it is the time for Virat Kohli to just get away from cricket, take a break and refresh his mind.

Talking about the Indian pacers, the former Aussie pacer has praised Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan, saying that they have real talent. He adds that he likes the Indian cricket system is working on producing good pace bowlers, though there are some really nice spin bowlers as well yet pacers will be of more use in the T20 World Cup which is going to be played on the fast and bouncy wickets of Australia.

Brett Lee calls sensational Umran Malik a fantastic bowler and hopes that he soon plays for India and also represents the team in the purest format of the game as well.

Do you also think Virat Kohli should take a break from cricket?

5 Cricketers Whose IPL Career Grew Considerably After They Left CSK

Many times the Indian Premier League, the Indian T20 league competition, is compared with other league competitions but there is no doubt that IPL is the biggest of them all as big names of the cricket world come to participate in this contest. This year (2022) two new teams have been added in the tournament otherwise there used to be 8 teams and all of them have a pretty big fan base.

However, there are few teams which have bigger fan base in comparison to other teams and Chennai Super Kings is certainly one of them. One of the biggest reasons of its huge popularity is its skipper MS Dhoni who has led the team since 2008 and the franchise has won the IPL title four times under his leadership. CSK has given a platform to many talented youngsters to prove their worth but there have been some cricketers whose career graph went upward only after leaving the franchise.

It may sound a little unbelievable but here is a list of players who experienced growth in career after saying goodbye to CSK:

1. Wriddhiman Saha:

The veteran Indian cricketer who played for West Bengal in the domestic season has been playing in IPL since the inaugural edition of 2008. His IPL journey started with the Bengal franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and he used to feature in almost each match for the franchise. From 2008 to 2011, he played 33 matches but in 2011, KKR released him and he was bought by CSK. He was in CSK for three years but played only 14 matches and even in those matches, he was not able to perform well.

In 2014, Wriddhiman Saha was bought by Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and played 57 matches for the franchise in which he affect 48 dismissals as a wicketkeeper and scored 1115 runs as a batsman. Saha’s innings of 115 in 2014 final against KKR can easily be called his best innings of IPL. Though he ended up on the losing side, he still batted beautifully under pressure and he deserves all the praises for that. In 2018, he shifted to Sunrisers Hyderabad and presently he is a part of Gujarat Titans which bought him for Rs. 1.9 crore in the mega-auction for IPL 2022.

2. Samuel Badree:

The West Indian cricketer has also been a part of IPL for few seasons, he started his IPL journey with the Rajasthan franchise and soon shifted to CSK in the year 2014. However, Samuel Badree didn’t get many chances to play as spinners because Ravichandran Aswhin and Ravindra Jadeja were already in CSK. As he performed brilliantly in international matches for West Indies, he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the year 2017 and he made his presence felt in the first match itself. Playing against Mumbai Indians, Samuel Badree took a hat-trick in his debut match with one of the batsmen being hitman Rohit Sharma. Samuel Badree ended the match with figures 4/9 but he didn’t play after that season.

3. George Bailey:

The former Aussie cricketer was also a part of CSK from 2009 till 2011 and in this duration, he played only 4 matches. In 2014, he was picked by Kings XI Punjab and the franchise played its only IPL final under his leadership. George Bailey played one more season for the Punjab franchise after which he was picked by Rising Pune Supergiant.

4. Chris Morris:

The former South African cricketer who took retirement from international cricket last year started his IPL journey with MS Dhoni led CSK in 2013 and the all-rounder played 16 matches for the franchise. However, soon he went out of focus because the West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo also provided the same skill set. Later on, Chris Morris played for Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals) and in 2021, he became the most expensive player as Rajasthan Royals spent a huge amount of Rs. 16.25 crore for buying him.

5. Vijay Shankar:

The Indian cricketer who made his debut for India in the year 2018 was associated with CSK in the year 2014 but played only one match for the team. After getting released from CSK, he was bought by SRH but there also he didn’t get much opportunity as he played only 4 matches. However, he became a little famous after he became a part of Delhi Daredevils and currently he is a part of new IPL team Gujarat Titans but he hasn’t been able to perform well for the franchise.

Do you know about more such players? Add to the list.
