“If Hindi Isn’t National Language, Why Dub Kannada Films,” Ajay Devgn Responds To Kiccha Sudeep

There has been a considerable change in the Indian film industry as in recent past, few south Indian movies (Baahubali, Pushpa, RRR, KGF 2, etc.) have performed well in the Hindi speaking states too and even Hindi flicks have not been able to compete with them in the Hindi-speaking belt of the country.

The southern movie directors are dubbing their films in Hindi and releasing them all over the country. The latest flick on this list is Yash starrer KGF 2 which has broken many records on the box-office. While many movie actors and celebs praised KGF 2, the famous Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep gave birth to a controversy while showering praises on the film.

During a media interaction while answering a question, Kiccha Sudeep states that everyone is saying a Kannada movie is made on a pan-India level but he wants to make correction which is that Hindi is not a national language at all. He adds that Bollywood filmmakers are producing many pan-India movies and they are getting released in Tamil and Telugu but it doesn’t mean that they are hit. He goes on to say that the flicks which are being made by southern directors are getting watched all over the world.

An online user posted the video of Kiccha Sudeep with the caption, “Kannada Actor @KicchaSudeep said, ‘correct it, Hindi is no more the National Language, it’s no more a National language”! In a film launch & a huge applause from the crowd & the media. Hope the efforts of Kannada activists are reaching the intended places. #stopHindiImposition”.

The Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has responded on this matter with a tweet in Hindi in which he asks Kiccha Sudeep that if he feels Hindi is not our national language, why he releases the movies made in his mother tongue in Hindi in dubbed version. Ajay also writes in his tweet that for him, Hindi was always his mother tongue and national language and will always be.

Soon Kiccha Sudeep reacted on the tweet of Ajay Devgn and clarified that the context in which he said that was completely different from what Ajay has got and he will surely make his side clear when he will meet him in person. He also added that he never wanted to start a debate or provoke someone. Kiccha Sudeep’s tweet read, “Hello @ajaydevgn sir.. the context to why I said that line is entirely different to the way I guess it has reached you. Probably will emphasis on why the statement was made when I see you in person. It wasn’t to hurt, Provoke or to start any debate. Why would I sir”.

In another tweet, Kiccha Sudeep also makes it clear that he loves and respects every language and this topic should come to rest now. He tweeted, “I love and respect every language of our country sir. I would want this topic to rest, as I said the line in a totally different context. Much love and wishes to you always. Hoping to seeing you soon.”

However in one tweet, Kiccha Sudeep told Ajay Devgn that he understood the tweet made by him which was in Hindi because they all have respected, loved and learnt Hindi but what would have happened if his response had been in Kannada. In the end, he also asked whether they all don’t belong to India. He tweeted, “And sir @ajaydevgn, I did understand the txt you sent in Hindi. Tats only coz we all have respected, loved and learnt Hindi. No offense sir, but was wondering what’d the situation be if my response was typed in Kannada!! Don’t we too belong to India sir.”

Now the senior Bollywood actor-director Ajay Devgn has also responded as he thanks the southern actor for clearing the misunderstanding and also adds that he respects all the languages too and expects the same from others. Ajay Devgn also felt that there was something which got lost in translation. Ajay tweeted, “Hi @KicchaSudeep , You are a friend. Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding. I’ve always thought of the film industry as one.  We respect all languages and we expect everyone to respect our language as well. Perhaps, something was lost in translation”.

The matter got closed after Kiccha Sudeep tweeted, “Translation & interpretations are perspectives sir. Tats the reason not reacting without knowing the complete matter, matters. 🙂 I don’t blame you @ajaydevgn sir. Perhaps it would have been a happy moment if I had received a tweet from you for a creative reason. Luv & Regards”

This debate has been going on for a long time now but things should be settled just like these two stars have done. What do you say?

Mrunal Thakur Revealed People Called Her ‘Matka’ In India But In Us, She Was Called ‘Kardashian’

Mrunal Thakur’s latest release “Jersey” may not have performed well on the box-office but her performance in the movie has been getting a lot of praises. Mrunal started her acting career from television and now she is one of the most famous actresses of the Indian film industry.

Body shaming is not new for the Indian actresses and Mrunal Thakur has also faced it in the early days of her career. Recently in an interview, the “Toofan” actress has revealed that many times she has been told she looks like a matka because she has a pear-shaped body.

A pear-shaped person’s lower body is broader than his/her upper body and as per Mrunal, she has been asked often to lose weight from her lower body but she is in no mood to do that. She states that it is her body type and even if she starts losing weight, she will first lose from her face, then from upper body and then from her lower body which means her body shape is not going to change even after that. She adds that rather than feeling bad for being called matka, she has chosen to take pride in it.

She also narrated her experience from the time when she was in USA. She was told that women over there spend huge amount for getting that body shape and she was even called Indian Kardashian by some which made her so happy that she felt the need to celebrate. She goes on to say that now trolls don’t have an effect on her as she has the confidence to pose and post a photo.

Mrunal Thakur further says that there are many girls who have the same type of body shape and she just wants to raise her voice and tell that it is absolutely normal and there is nothing wrong in wearing high-waist pants and cropped top. She concludes by saying that if you have a matka body, own it with pride.

More power to you Mrunal!

Rajasthan Royals has once again made it to the top position in the IPL points table after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in a match which was played yesterday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. This is the second consecutive loss of RCB and Virat Kohli once again disappointed his fans as he got out on the score of 9 and failed to help his team in chasing a low target of 145 runs.

While fans are busy talking about the brilliant innings of Riyan Parag and superb bowling of the RR bowlers, there is one more incident which has got everybody’s attention and involved Riyan Parag along with Harshal Patel.

Well, it is something that happens with many players but at the end of the match, they shake their hands and forget everything but this didn’t happen in this match. As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by the Bangalore franchise and it chose to bowl first. The decision was quite correct as the RCB bowlers dismissed the openers Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler quite early. The RR skipper Sanju Samson gave some hope to his team but he also got out for 27 (21 balls, 1 four & 3 sixes). It was Riyan Parag’s day as the youngster remained not out at the score of 56 (31 balls, 3 fours & 4 sixes) and helped his team in making a respectable score of 144/8.

While the RCB bowlers were bang on target and restricted RR on a small total, the RCB batters failed once again and the whole team got wrapped up for 115 in 19.3 overs. The highest scorer for RCB was the skipper Faf du Plessis who scored 23 runs in 21 balls and his innings included 3 fours & 1 six.

10 Modular Kitchen Designs For Small Kitchens

If you’re anything like me, you would agree that nothing is more therapeutic than preparing a homey meal and enjoying it with your loved ones. There’s something about home-cooked food that can instantly put us in a good mood and make up forget everything that went wrong throughout the day. But this delightful experience can quickly turn into our worst nightmare if our kitchen is not done up in a way that meets our requirements.

This is where modular kitchens come into the picture. With designated spots for all kitchen essentials, modular kitchens are every cooking noob’s (and expert’s) BFFs! Because it can be customized to meet the needs of the homeowner, the modern modular kitchen has become a popular addition to urban Indian houses. When compared to traditional carpenter-made kitchens, modular kitchens stand out because they are ergonomic, maximise storage, and are easy to use. Because modular kitchens are factory-manufactured, they must be meticulously designed because no adjustments can be made while the modular kitchen is in production.

But are modular kitchens really for everyone? People often believe that small spaces cannot be converted into modular kitchens. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. The fact is that there are a bunch of modular kitchen designs for small kitchens that you can choose from. Let’s look at a few of them –

1. White and Glossy

A kitchen work triangle, for the uninitiated, consists of your refrigerator, sink, and stove. A significant element of deciding on a kitchen layout is determining how these three important things interact with one another, i.e. the position and space between each. Before you think about the plan, do a basic drawing of your kitchen area. This is a great kitchen design for a small house.

If you’re looking to really maximize space, you know white is the color for you. In this modular kitchen design for small kitchens, white dominates the color palette without making the space look boring or monotonous. The metallic accents add to the visual appeal, giving the kitchen a modern and sophisticated look. The glossy surfaces are a clever addition to the kitchen design, adding both space and character to the room.

2.Let There be Light

Another sure-shot way of making a kitchen, or any room for that matter, look bigger is to invite a ton of natural light into the space. Large windows, sheer curtains, and big, bright light sources can all contribute to making the space look much larger than it is. The contrast of textures and colors used in this kitchen design adds oodles of character to the space, making sure the tiny kitchen is not small on personality.

Keep in mind that you’ll need to maintain the kitchen in the long run. It may be advisable to avoid an all-white kitchen because Indian cooking produces a lot of stubborn stains. All-white kitchens necessitate frequent cleaning and require a lot of upkeep. However, this does not imply that you should choose bright colors at random. After all, darker colors absorb more heat, especially in the summer. To preserve overall harmony, you may always select a combination of the two.

3.Duo-chromatic Designs for the Win

The average height of individuals in a nation is frequently used to determine the recommended counter height for a kitchen. The counter height in India is typically between 820 mm and 860 mm. Most individuals find it easy to work at. Make sure there isn’t too much space between your kitchen cabinets and the countertop. It may be difficult for shorter persons to access the higher shelves if it is too high.

If you’re someone who loves the pop of colour but is afraid of making your space look too overcrowded, this modular kitchen design for small kitchens is for you. The otherwise white canvas comes to life with the vibrant pop of colour. The lighter tones bring more space to the room, making it look larger. The pendant lights are an excellent way to utilize the room vertically, leaving the premium square-footage bare on the floor. Notice the clever variation in the same duo-chromatic pattern? It really makes the space what it is.

4.Sleek Furniture for the Way

One of the most crucial aspects to consider in the kitchen is safety! You should consider everything from safe gas pipes to curved countertop edges when it comes to making your kitchen safe. Make certain that the flooring you chose is also slip-resistant. Your appliances should be near to the switchboard, with some room between the sink and the stove.

If you’re looking for small kitchen room designs, a sure shot solution is to opt for sleek kitchen furniture. The black tones used in this kitchen create a fabulous shadow movement, not only enlarging but also embellishing the space. The statement lights and the off-beat color combinations bring a whole new life to the room.

5. Clever Partitions

We frequently overlook the corners while building storage shelves and cabinets. However, nowadays there are several choices for making the greatest use of corner spaces. Professionals can assist you in personalising your plan and making the most of the given space. After all, there is no such thing as having too much storage in the kitchen.

The open kitchen concept is godsent for those who are looking for kitchen designs for small houses. But if you’re looking for a partition to demarcate the cooking area, these kinds of see-through partitions can be excellent for you.

We hope you found some inspiration for your own kitchen. Remember, these are only the fundamentals. Because kitchen interiors are a costly investment, you should put in a lot of thinking and study. Contact specialist home décor firms like Livspace to make your kitchen more personalized, eco-friendly, and useful.

“Batting At No.3 Was Always My Dream,” Hardik Pandya Talks About His Form & Role In IPL 2022

The Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya who is leading the new IPL team Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 is currently in a pretty good form as he is the fourth highest scorer of the tournament with 295 runs in 6 matches. He is also getting praised for his captaincy as his team has registered 6 wins in 7 matches and is sitting at the top in the points table with 12 points.

Hardik Pandya was a part of Mumbai Indians for many years, he used to bat lower down the order and play the role of a finisher during that time but in GT, he is batting at number 4. However in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders, he came to bat at number 3 and played a beautiful innings of 67 runs which helped his team in winning the match.

In a chat with Vikram Solanki, the GT director of the cricket, the GT skipper talked about his dream of batting at number 3. He said that it was always his dream to bat at number 3, adding that in the year 2016 he played for MI and the franchise promoted him at number 3 but he wasn’t able to make an impact at that time. He goes on to say that this time he has made sure he used the chance to the maximum and made the most of it.

Talking about his role and form, he says that he has been batting well and he is happy that runs are coming at the right time. He further says that his role in the team is different if Shubman Gill plays a big innings but if the latter gets out early, he becomes Shubman Gill of the team. As far as his innings against KKR is concerned, the Gujarat cricketer says that he has just made sure he doesn’t take much risk, plays some good cricketing shots and keeps the run-rate ticking.

Though Hardik Pandya didn’t bowl in the last match due to injury, his fans will really hope to see him taking wickets in the next match which is against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 27. The first match between these two franchises was played on April 11 and SRH won that match by 8 wickets with 5 balls remaining in its innings. In that match also, Hardik Pandya led from the front as he not only scored a fifty not out but also took one wicket in his 4 overs.

Should Hardik Pandya bat at number 3 or lower down the order? What is your opinion in this regard? Let us know your views.
