“It’s Waste Of Time, Let Me Eat Burger & Pizza,” Kaif Reveals Funny Story Of Shimron Hetmyer

Shimron Hetmyer is one of the big names of the international cricket and he is presently playing in the Indian Premier League. Earlier, he has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals but in this season, he is playing for Rajasthan Royals.

RR has played five matches till now and has won three out of them and we must say that Hetmyer has been quite consistent with his bat helping his team in winning the matches. Though he gets criticized for his fitness sometimes, his ability to clear the ropes has made him one of the biggest hitters of the present times. Mohammad Kaif, the former Indian cricketer who was with DC as an assistant coach, has spent a lot of time with Shimron Hetmyer and recently he revealed some really interesting information about the West Indian player.

During an interview with a sports portal, Mohammad Kaif says that Shimron Hetmyer is not like other cricketers, he is quite happy-go-lucky and relaxing person. Kaif goes on to say that while other batsmen spend time in planning or making the strategy on how to face the opposition bowlers, Hetmyer doesn’t even give a damn, in fact he calls it a waste of time and prefers to dig his teeth in burger and pizza. Mohammad Kaif also narrated an incident in which he asked Shimron Hetmyer as to how he would play the mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty and in response, Hetmyer asked him who Varun is. However, Kaif added that in the match, Hetmyer played Varun pretty well.

As the interview took place before RR’s match against Gujarat Titans, they also talked about the clash between Shimron Hetmyer and GT spinner Rashid Khan. Mohammad Kaif states that he knows Hetmyer personally and he is a good player of spin who knows how to hit sixes on spin bowling. Kaif further states that though Rashid Khan is a good bowler, his record against left-handers is not so great and he can leak runs. Kaif also says that most probably Rashid Khan will bowl googlies to the West Indian batter but as Hetmyer is in great form and has made his team win the last match against Lucknow Super Giants, it will be a battle to watch for as one is in great form while other has class.

As far as the match between RR and GT is concerned, it was played yesterday at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai, and after winning the toss, RR decided to bowl first. Though GT lost its top three batters early, skipper Hardik Pandya (87 runs not out, 52 balls, 8 fours & 4 sixes) and Abhinav Manohar (43 runs, 28 balls, 4 fours & 2 sixes) not only stabilized the innings but also kept the score board ticking at a good rate.

David Miller too made a useful contribution of 31 runs not out (14 balls, 5 fours & 1 six) and GT managed to put up a total of 192/4 on the score board. In response, RR could manage only 155/9 in its 20 overs, Jos Buttler (54 runs, 24 balls, 8 fours, 3 sixes) was the highest scorer for RR whereas Shimron Hetmyer scored 29 runs (17 balls, 2 fours & 1 six).

With this win, GT is at the top spot in the points table with 4 wins in 5 matches that it has played.

Bharti Tells Her Baby ‘KJo Mamu Hi Aapko Launch Karenge’ As She Joins Hunarbaaz On Video Call

Bharti Singh, the comedian-host, has been blessed with a baby boy around 10 days ago and as of now, she is on a maternity break. Bharti used to host the reality show Hunarbaaz and The Khatra Khatra Show with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa and she was the first woman to host the show during pregnancy. Actress Surbhi Chandna has replaced Bharti on the show temporarily but recently Bharti surprised everyone by making an entry through a video call.

Hunarbaaz is being judged by actor Mithun Chakraborty, producer-director Karan Johar and actress Parineeti Chopra and it gives a platform to those who want to showcase their talents on the national television. During the show, Mithun tells Surbhi that Bharti used to trouble him a lot but as she is on leave, he is very relaxed. He further asks Surbhi whether she is comfortable or not and in response, she says that everything is perfect but she is missing just one thing. Then she comes near Mithun and sits on the arm of his chair.

Just at that time, Bharti appears on the screen and pulls Mithun’s leg by saying that he should behave properly as this girl is at least 62 years younger to him. Bharat and Haarsh’s son also makes an entry on the screen and KJo sang a song, “Lakdi ki kathi” for him in his own style.

After Karan Johar stops singing, Parineeti asks Bharti, “Is the baby fine?”. Bharti states that the baby is fine and then makes panting noises before saying that he has tolerated a lot and now his Mamu (KJo) will launch him.

The couple also has a YouTube channel LOL (Life of Limbachiyaa’s) in which they share the updates of their lives and in one of the videos, Bharti and Haarsh state that they have nicknamed their son as Golla.

Sachin Praises Dinesh Karthik Whole-Heartedly For His Form In IPL, DK’s Reaction Is Gold

Dinesh Karthik, the veteran Indian cricketer, is in sublime form in the IPL 2022 and everybody is just going gaga over the manner in which he has emerged as a finisher for his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament. Earlier Dinesh Karthik led Kolkata Knight Riders but he was replaced by Eoin Morgan after poor performance of the team and the franchise released him ahead of the mega-auction for the IPL 2022.

RCB bought the wicketkeeper-batsman for a price of Rs. 5.5 crore and it won’t be wrong to say that he is trying his level best to justify his purchase. RCB has won three out of five matches that it played and Dinesh Karthik has remained not out four times till now with the scores of 32*, 14*, 44*, 7* and 34. Many cricket fans are of the opinion that DK should get a call in the national team as he may end India’s search of a finisher and will certainly increase the chances of India winning the T20 World Cup.

Not just Dinesh Karthik’s teammates but many former cricketers such as Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and others have praised him for his brilliant knocks. However, one appreciation that Karthik is cherishing the most is made by none other than the legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

In a video which has been uploaded on 100MB app and YouTube, Sachin Tendulkar says that RCB has a very lethal player in its lower order in the form of Dinesh Karthik who is a 360 degree player whether he plays against spin or pace. Sachin Tendulkar further states that when DK starts attacking, he begins from the very first ball and he doesn’t make his mind early for hitting the ball, first he reads the line and length of the ball and then he plays the shot accordingly. Sachin Tendulkar also adds that there are very few batsmen in the cricket world in the present times who can read the line and length of ball as quick as DK.

Ex PCB Chief Reveals Wives Of Pakistan Cricketers Were Sent To India In 2012 For This Reason

India and Pakistan are known as arch-rivals on the cricket ground but due to the tension in their political relations, they haven’t faced each other much in the recent past. The last bilateral series that India and Pakistan played was in 2012 when the Pakistani team visited India for playing 2-match T20I series and 3-match ODI series. The Indian government has very strictly stated that no sports relations will be maintained with Pakistan until and unless it stops promoting anti-India activities.

Zaka Ashraf was the Pakistan Cricket Board’s President in 2012 when team Pak visited India and recently he made quite an interesting revelation regarding his cricketers and their wives. He stated that the PCB decided to send wives of the Pakistani cricketers with them on the tour to India so that the wives could keep a check on the cricketers and any mishap could be avoided.

Zaka Ashraf said that he suggested this because the Indian media is always looking for controversy in relation to their players. He added that everyone in the Pakistani team accepted this suggestion without any problem and visited India. He also alleged that whenever Pakistan tours India, the host tries to cook up a controversy and demean their players and this was avoided in 2012 by sending wives of the cricketers on the tour.

Zaka Ashraf claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also promised India’s tour to Pakistan in return but that never happened. He went on to say that Narayanaswami Srinivasan was the BCCI President at that time and he promised that team India would visit Pakistan provided foolproof security was provided.

Talking about the present times, Zaka Ashraf stated that attempts should be made for restoring cricketing ties between India and Pakistan and the good thing is that General Bajwa who is currently on an important position loves cricket and wants to see the Pakistan cricket flourish.

Iceland Cricket Slammed For Keeping Virat Kohli As 12th Man In India’s Best Test Playing XI List

The Iceland Cricket may not have been able to make its presence felt on the international level as far as cricket is concerned but it is certainly making a big impact on the social media networks. Some time ago, its official Twitter handle posted a tweet in which it took a jibe at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for poor umpiring in the IPL, especially in the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In that match, Virat Kohli was given lbw out on the bowling of Dewald Brevis who is also referred to as Baby AB. Coming back to Kohli’s dismissal, after the on-field umpire gave Virat lbw out, he asked for a review and in the replay, it was seen that the ball touched the bat and the pad simultaneously. As per the rules, if such a situation occurs, the touch with the bat should be given the priority but the third umpire still gave Kohli out.

The Iceland Cricket used this as an opportunity to take a dig at the richest cricket board of the world and it tweeted, “It’s not easy for on field umpires to detect inside edges or whether ball hit bat or pad first. But every TV umpire should be able to make the right call with the benefit of slow motion replays and technology like UltraEdge. @BCCI We have trained umpires ready to fly over.”

The Iceland Cricket once again made a tweet regarding the Indian Cricket but this time, it has attracted ire of the Indian cricket fans as it kept Virat Kohli as a 12th man while making the list of India’s best ever test playing XI.

The Iceland cricket made Rahul Dravid the skipper of the team which included Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Vijay Hazare, MS Dhoni (w), Kapil Dev, Ravichandran Ashwin, Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath and Jasprit Bumrah.

Keeping Virat Kohli as a 12th man did not go well with the Indian cricket fans as Virat Kohli is certainly one of the greatest of all times who has played 101 test matches and has scored 8043 runs which included 27 centuries and 28 fifties as well. The former RCB skipper may have given up his test captaincy but he is the most successful test skipper of India as under his leadership, India played 68 test matches and won 40 of them.

Dale Steyn Has A Cool Reply To Twitter User Who Trolls Him By Calling Bumrah Better Than Him

Dale Steyn, the 38 years old former South African cricketer, is one of the best pacers of all time and many times he has given match-winning performances in his illustrious career. For many years, he was the backbone of South Africa’s pace bowling and it won’t be wrong to say that he had the talent to make life hell for batsmen. His athletic physique, smooth bowling action and capability to take wickets with both new and old balls made him more lethal than his contemporaries but many times he has proved that he can be a tough nut to crack on the social media networks as well.

Getting trolled is not new for Dale Steyn but the perfect answers that he gives display his wittiness and good sense of humour and something of the similar sort happened once again. Recently, an online user tried to demean him by calling the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah better than him but Dale Steyn’s response was just too good.

The Twitter user wrote, “Bumrah is better than you.”

Dale Steyn replied by saying that he is sure Bumrah is better than him as he has retired.

Jasprit Bumrah’s comparison with Dale Steyn is completely unjustified as the latter has proved himself many times while the former has a long way to go. After making his debut in 2004, Dale Steyn has represented South Africa in 93 test matches, 125 ODIs and 47 T20Is and he has taken 439 test wickets, 196 ODI wickets and 64 T20I wickets. As far as the IPL is concerned, he has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deccan Chargers (now defunct), Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions (now defunct). Dale Steyn would have more wickets in his name if injuries had not troubled him in the later part of his career.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah shined while he played for the IPL team Mumbai Indians. In 2016, he got the chance to represent the country in the shorter formats and in 2018, he got to play in the purest form. Till date, Bumrah has played 29 test matches in which he has taken 123 wickets, in 70 ODIs he has taken 113 wickets and in 57 T20Is he has taken 67 wickets.
