“Ghor Kalyug,” People React After Man Tweets About Vada Pav Being Sold For Rs 250 In Plane

Flights are certainly the best medium of transportation if saving time is your first priority but then you should also be ready to bear a dent in your pocket because not only the tickets of the flights are highly expensive but the food served there is also quite costly.

Vada pav is an integral part of the lives of Maharashtrians because it is one of those few food items which are delicious, easily available in the market and very cheap as well. As per some Twitter users, they buy vada pav for a price of Rs. 10, 15 or 25 but you will be shocked to know the price of vada pav which is being served in the flights.

Recently, a Twitter user shared a photo of a food menu of an Indigo flight in which vada pav was priced for whopping Rs. 250. The online user asked everyone to throw him from the plane if he is seen having this costly vada pav in the flight.

Soon the micro-blogging site was flooded with reactions and people also started sharing their own experiences as to how they have also spent big amount on dishes like poha, noodles, etc in the flight which they could have purchased for 10 times lesser price on the ground. Few people also had problem with the symmetrical shape of the vada and pav in the image printed on the food menu.

Shreyas Iyer’s Old Video With Ashwin Goes Viral After His Superb Performance In INDvsSL 2nd Test

The Indian cricket team won the 2-match test series against Sri Lanka by 2-0 and the young Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer played an important role in India’s win in the second test match. What’s more, he was also awarded with the player of the match award for his superb performance.

In the second test match which was played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, the hosts decided to bat first after winning the toss. In the first innings, India scored 252 runs with the help of a brilliant knock of 92 runs by Shreyas Iyer. However, the Sri Lankan batters were not able to take the benefit of the wonderful bowling done by their bowlers and the whole Sri Lankan team got out on just 109 runs in its second innings. The Indian squad batted well in the second innings as it declared its innings at 303/9 and gave a target of 447 to the visitors to win the match. Though two Sri Lankan batters – skipper Dimuth Karunratne (107) and Kusal Mendis (54) gave some fight, their 8 batsmen were not able to cross the double digit mark because of which the whole team was back in the pavilion at the score of 208 runs. As a result, India won the test match by 238 runs and with this, it also won the series by 2-0.

Shreyas Iyer is the talk of the town at the moment because this was his fourth test match but the manner in which he is playing, he gives an impression that he is quite an experienced campaigner.

After India’s triumph, an old video of Shreyas Iyer in which he gave an interview to the Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin is going viral. The video was shot for the YouTube channel of Ashwin and in this interview, they mostly talked about Iyer’s captaincy for Delhi Capitals, his first class career, etc. but they also talked about his test aspirations as by that time, he had not made his test debut.

When he was asked about his test aspirations, Shreyas Iyer said that he always wanted to play test matches since the time he started playing cricket. He adds that his domestic record has been wonderful and he has been playing attacking cricket but till now he hasn’t got the chance to play in a test match.

However, he also says that though he hasn’t made his debut, he has a run-out to his name which is an achievement for him. He further added that it happened in Dharamsala against Australia when Virat Kohli went off the field due to some issue with his shoulder and he replaced him as a substitute.

Shreyas Iyer made his debut in 2021 against New Zealand and since then he has played four test matches and in seven innings, he has scored 388 runs at an average of 55.42 with 3 fifties and a hundred. With his superb performance in the second test match against Sri Lanka, Shreyas Iyer has become the first Indian batsman to achieve the sensational feat of scoring two half-centuries in a test match.

Shreyas Iyer will be seen leading the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2022, the has franchise purchased him for an hefty price of Rs. 12.25 crore.

India Accidentally Firing A Missile At Pakistan Sparks A Hilarious Meme Fest On Twitter

The two Asian neighboring countries India and Pakistan haven’t been on very good terms since their independence and the relations further deteriorated in the last few years. On many occasions, the Pakistani leaders have talked about being a nuclear power nation and tried to scare India despite the fact that India is way powerful and more equipped than Pakistan in terms of nuclear power.

On March 9, 2022, India mistakenly fired a missile at Pakistan but the good thing was that the missile had no war-head and no one was harmed. In the statement released by the Defence Ministry, it was stated that during the routine maintenance, an accidental misfiring of a missile took place due to technical malfunction. It further stated that the missile had fallen in Pakistan and it is a matter of great relief that no one has been harmed but the matter is deeply regretted. A high-level court enquiry has also been ordered in the matter by the Government of India.

As per Pakistan, the missile flew 100 kilometers in to their airspace at the height of 40K feet with the speed 3-times more than that of sound. While Pakistan has also decided to investigate the matter, it has warned India of unpleasant consequences if any such incident happens in the future again.

Archana Puran Reacts To Her Memes After Navjot Sidhu Lost In Elections, Finds Them Strange

The veteran actress Archana Puran Singh is once again getting featured in many memes which are related to cricketer turned politician, Navjot Singh Sidhu.

The former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu fought elections from Amritsar East recently but he lost and soon after that, many online users started speculating that post tasting defeat in politics, Sidhu will now get back to television. Since then, many memes have been shared featuring Archana in which she is shown worrying about losing her position in The Kapil Sharma Show.

Talking about memes during an interview with a leading daily, Archana Puran Singh says that she is not affected by memes because it is not new for her but she is surprised by the fact that Sidhu who has left the show and has joined politics is still getting connected with her despite the fact that she has nothing to do with politics. Shark Tank’s Vineeta Singh Recreates Viral Meme Showing Her As Raju Rastogi’s Mom In 3 Idiots

Shark Tank India, the business reality show, was loved a lot by audiences as it was quite different from the other reality shows which are getting aired on TV. In this show, the entrepreneurs/startup owners had to give presentations in front of the investors who are called sharks to convince them for investing in their companies.

The panel of sharks included some big names of the Indian business world – Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mitttal, Aman Gupta, Ashneer Grover, Peyush Bansal and Ghazal Alagh. Many memes and jokes got circulated on the social media networks, especially of Arshneer Grover and Namita Thapar who had a particular style of dealing with the business owners.

A meme featuring Vineeta Singh also went viral in which Vineeta is being compared to Raju Rastogi’s mother from the movie “3 idiots”. Rajkumar Hirani directed flick got released in the year 2009 and it starred Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Kareena Kapoor Khan in important roles. In the film, Sharman Joshi played the character of Raju Rastogi while Amardeep Jha essayed the role of his mother.

Now Vineeta Singh decided to give it back to trollers but by adding a flavored tadka of creativity to it. She posted a video on his official Twitter handle in which an employee sees the meme on Vineeta Singh on social media and gets a little confused. Later on when he went to meet her regarding budget approval of a project, he saw that Vineeta was dressed as Raju’s mother and was also talking in the same manner as Raju’s mother used to talk in the movie as she complained about the rising prices of bhindi and paneer getting sold in jewelry shops. The video ends with Vineeta coming in the frame and saying, “All Izz Well”.

“Dhoni Was Completely Different Than I Expected,” Says Faf Du Plessis On His Early Days In CSK

The suspense surrounding the new skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore came to an end on Saturday when the franchise announced that the former South African skipper Faf du Plessis whom RCB purchased for Rs. 7 crore in the mega-auction will be its new captain. He has been one of the most important players of Chennai Super Kings as he played for the Chennai franchise in 9 seasons from 2011-2021 and had an important role in its title wins. He played under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in 9 seasons while playing for CSK and then playing for Rising Pune Supergiants as well, the franchise that played only in 2016 and 2017 when CSK and RR were banned from the league.

During an interview with RCB, Faf du Plessis opened up about his initial days in the IPL and the captaincy style of MS Dhoni. He stated that it was a little different for him when he joined CSK in 2011 in terms of culture as he came from the South African culture. Just to inform, Faf du Plessis has also captained the South African team at the international level.

He further stated that by that time he knew what captaincy was but he was left surprised as MS Dhoni was completely opposite of what he expected him to be. According to him, he has learnt that different skippers have different styles but it is important to have their own style because this is what really matters in pressure situations. He adds that he will never try to be Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni but he will try to implement those things which he has learnt in his journey as they will be helpful in making him grow as a leader.

RCB will be playing its first match in the IPL 2022 against Punjab Kings on 27th March and fans are really hoping that Faf will bring some CSK luck with him and RCB will win its maiden title in the tournament this year. Despite the fact that RCB has always been a strong squad comprising of players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, etc., the disappointing reality is that it has not won a single IPL title till date.

Virat Kohli Mimics Jasprit Bumrah’s Bowling Action, Makes Teammates Go ROFL

The second test match between India and Sri Lanka is at an interesting position as first the Sri Lankan team bowled out the Indian team for just 252 runs but then the batters of the visiting team also found it difficult to stay on the crease and by the end of the day 1, Sri Lanka was 86/6.

Though Virat Kohli once again failed to end his century drought, he did entertain cricket fans with his humorous behavior. The former cricketer may have got slammed many times because of his aggressive attitude but it is also true that he is a very fun loving cricketer. During the Sri Lankan innings, Virat Kohli was seen copying the bowling action of the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

However, the Indian team didn’t get a good start and it lost both the openers Mayank Agarwal (4) and Rohit Sharma (15) quite early. Hanuma Vihari also got out early when he was on the score of 31. While Rishabh Pant played a useful innings of 39, Shreyas Iyer played a brilliant innings of 92 runs which helped the Indian team in reaching the score of 252 runs and after that, no other batsman was able to give resistance to the Indian bowlers.

Lasith Embuldeniya and Praveen Jayawickrama took 3-3 wickets each, while Dhananjaya de Silva took 2 wickets and Suranga Lakmal got only 1 wicket.

However, the Sri Lankan batters also struggled as till the time the article was written, the complete Sri Lankan team got out for merely 109 runs and currently they are trailing by 143 runs. The most successful Indian bowler is Jasprit Bumrah who took 5 wickets and gave away only 24 runs, while Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin managed to take 2-2 wickets each, Axar Patel was able to dismiss only one batsman.
