There are many people in this world who try to hide their real personality by wearing a mask which enables them to pretend to be someone that they are actually not. Such people naturally do it for a purpose or to cover their misdeed which they don’t want the world to know about. However, they are such brilliant actors that from their outer appearance, it’s almost impossible to guess their real identity.

Something of the similar sort happens in this video which features a small family of a couple and their son. The wife is reported to be missing for few weeks and the husband is shown carrying out his basic responsibilities. From office work to household chores and managing his son, he does it all and that too pretty well yet he and his son are unhappy as the woman of the house is missing and the cops are unable to find out any clue regarding her whereabouts.

In the meantime, we also get to know that the woman was short-tempered, aggressive and violent and for the same, the concerned police officer advices the man to move on in life and spend time with his son as he needs him and this way, they both will find some happiness in their lives. It appears that the man loves his wife a lot or is at least concerned about her as he is seen enquiring about her in police station quite often. However, a twist in the story comes when a man is seen blackmailing the husband over and over again for money which gives an implication that he knows some secret of the husband who is left with no option other than paying the man if he wants his secret not to be disclosed in front of the world.

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer, was not a part of the Indian cricket team which played the three T20I match series against New Zealand and he won’t be available for the Kanpur test match as well but he will make a comeback in the team for the Mumbai test match. Virat Kohli quit the T20 captaincy after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and he made an announcement regarding the same even before the start of the tournament. In fact as per some reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is also thinking of removing him from the captaincy of the ODI team but he is going to retain the test captaincy.

Though a lot has been written about Virat Kohli in the recent past but the cricketer is pretty much unfazed of whatever is being written or said and recently, he took to Instagram and posted a selfie with his wife Anushka Sharma.

The Indian cricket team performed in a great manner in the three match T20I series against New Zealand as it whitewashed the series by winning all the three matches and Rohit Sharma must be pretty happy as it was his first series as a full time skipper. The third T20I was played yesterday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and Rohit Sharma decided to bat first after winning the toss straight third time in a row.

The Indian team had a good start as both the openers Rohit Sharma (56 runs, 31 balls, 5 fours & 3 sixes) and Ishan Kishan (29 runs, 21 balls, 6 fours) produced partnership of 69 runs for the first wicket which set the platform for a big score. However, Suryakumar Yadav got out on duck while Rishabh Pant also got dismissed at the meager score of 4 runs. Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer played useful knocks of 25 runs (20 balls, 2 fours) and 20 runs (15 balls, 1 four & 1 six), respectively but were not able to produce big score or a very useful partnership. India managed to put up a score of 184/7 on the board as in the end of the innings, Harshal Patel (18 runs, 11 balls, 2 fours & 1 sixes) and Deepak Chahar (21 runs, 8 balls, 2 fours & I six) scored some quick runs.

In response, New Zealand never looked as a strong contender of winning the match as other than Martin Guptill who scored 51 runs (36 balls, 4 fours & 4 sixes), no other Kiwi batsman was able to provide resistance to the Indian bowling attack and the whole team got out on 111 runs in just 17.2 overs. India won the match by 73 runs and with this, the hosts also registered a series win by 3-0.

The pick of the Indian bowlers was Axar Patel who took 3 wickets in his 3 overs and gave only 9 runs and for his superb bowling, he was adjudged as the Player of the Match. Harshal Patel also took two wickets plus contributed well with the bat too.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video in which both the Patels – Axar and Harshal are having quite an interesting conversation. In the video, Harshal can be heard telling Axar that they may not have decided it but it seems that Player of the Match will stay between both the Patels only.

Harshal Patel made his debut in the second match of the series which was played at Ranchi and in that match, he won the Player of the Match award for his superb performance. When Axar Patel asked him about his match winning performance in his debut match, Harshal said that it was a great feeling as his other debuts have not been that good but he used his skills well and helped the team in winning the match.

Harshal Patel also said that he had the required skills as well but the change in the mindset is the main reason behind his improved performance and this change came in the last two years. He added that playing in the IPL helped him and whatever he did in the tournament, he decided to carry on with in this series as well and luckily things worked out for him.

India and New Zealand will also play two test matches starting November 25 at Green Park, Kanpur, and these test matches are a part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23. The second test match will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, from December 3.

It is a sad reality that court cases in India are fought for a long period and a person has to wait for many years to get justice. However, there are some who don’t give up in any situation and one such person is 55 years old Gerald John whose efforts have proved that truth always triumphs.

In 1989, 24-yr Gerald John applied for the post of a Commerce faculty in Government-run minority educational institute CNI Boys’ Inter College, Dehradun. He not only cleared the interview but also secured the top position in the merit list but still he was not appointed for the job.

When Gerald John enquired about it with the administration of the college, he was told that that the guy who was selected for the job also knew Stenography. He got suspicious as stenography was not listed as a requirement in the job listing so he decided to file a case in the court.

Gerald John who is basically from Farrukhabad filed a case in the Allahabad High Court in 1990 but the case didn’t make much progress until the year 2000 when Uttarakhand came into existence. The case was then shifted to the Uttarakhand High Court, Nainital, and in 2007, the single bench of Uttarakhand HC gave decision against Gerald John.

However, he challenged the verdict in the Supreme Court and luckily for Gerald John, the union minister and lawyer Salman Khurshid came to his help and fought his case for free as they both are from the same city. In 2010, SC told them to appeal in front of double bench of the Uttarakhand HC as the case has merit. In 2020, the decision came in John’s favor as he was appointed the Commerce teacher by the school. Since April, he has been working as the acting Principal after the Principal got retired.

The court also ordered that Gerald John should be paid 60 percent of the salary that he would have earned since 1989 which comes out to Rs. 80 lakhs. He would have earned Rs. 1.25 crore if he had worked in the school. Out of Rs. 80 lakhs, he has received Rs. 73 lakhs from the Uttarakhand government but Rs. 7 lakh which he will be paid by the Uttar Pradesh government is yet to be received.

Though the court case went on for a long time, Gerald John felt that it was completely worth it as he would receive pension after his retirement.

Our judicial system needs a lot of improvement but it’s a matter of great happiness that at last Gerald John got the justice!

Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, is known as the King of romance and he has proved it many times that nobody in the Hindi film industry can play romantic roles better than him. SRK has given many superb performances in movies and one of them is 2003 released romantic-comedy drama “Kal Ho Naa Ho” which was directed by Nikhil Advani and bankrolled by Dharma Productions. The flick also starred Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Jaya Bachchan and others in important roles.

It is being said that this film was inspired from the 1971 released Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan starrer “Anand” as “Kal Ho Naa Ho” showed Shah Rukh Khan suffering from a life-taking disease and eventually in the climax, he took his last breath but not before bringing two young souls together by making them fall in love.

In the movie, there is a scene in which SRK tries to make Preity believe that Saif loves her a lot and for this purpose, he grabs Saif’s diary and starts reading despite Saif’s objection. Though there is nothing written on the pages of the diary, SRK acts as if he is reading from the diary and expresses Saif’s love for her.

The emotional scene was loved a lot by viewers as Shah Rukh Khan was simply superb and he made everyone cry with his wonderful acting too because of which no one was able to notice a mistake. Though it was shown in the movie that Shah Rukh was standing while reading the diary but in few shots, it was seen that the diary was kept on someone’s lap.

Recently, a Twitter user noticed this error and pointed it out on the micro-blogging site Twitter with the photos. He tweeted, “SRK was so good in this scene that nobody noticed the continuity error in the close up of the diary. It is kept on someone’s lap even though he’s clearly standing.”

Many times we have heard people debating over live-in relationships and it won’t be wrong to say that it is a never-ending debate with both sides in no mood to bow down or stop. While some are of the opinion that live-in relationships are destroying the culture of marriage and it is also making it easy for men to take advantage of women, a group of people feels that there is nothing wrong in a live-in relationship as it gives a chance to the couple to understand each other better and helps them in taking correct decision regarding marriage and future together.

However, it might come to you as a matter of great surprise that there are some tribes in Jharkhand that are practicing live-in relationships for decades, even before this culture got popular in the metros of India but for these tribal couples, this decision is more of a compulsion rather than the choice.

These tribal people mainly belonging to Munda, Oraon and Ho tribes are very poor and they choose live-in relationship because of their financial inability to bear the expenses of marriage. Many couples are not allowed to get married because they don’t have enough resources to feed the whole village and in such a scenario, these couples opt for a live-in relationship.

Such relationships are called Dhuku marriages and Dhukni is the word used to address the women who enter this relationship. These women are not respected by the community members as a Dhukni is not allowed to wear vermillion, she has no legal right over the property of her male partner (Dhukua) and the children of these couples are also not permitted to get piercings.

The good thing is that social workers are now trying their best to help such couples and in February this year, 105 Dhuku couples got married in a mass wedding ceremony. This gave legal status to the relationship of 105 couples and now these women will have legal right on the properties of their husbands.

This has been going on for centuries among the tribal people due to poverty as getting food on the table is a bigger priority in comparison to giving wedding party to the whole village. India and New Zealand will be playing the third and final T20I match of the series today at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and though India has already taken an invincible lead by winning the first two matches, the Kiwis will still look to save some respect by attaining victory in the final match.

While the Indian cricket team was not even able to enter the semi-finals of the recently concluded ICC T20I World Cup, New Zealand managed to play the finals but lost it to the Australians. This bilateral series between India and New Zealand started within 72 hours of the T20I World Cup finals which is certainly unusual considering the fact that the players should get some rest after such a big tournament.

The New Zealand cricketer Mitchell McClenaghan who is not a part of the visiting Kiwi team called this series as meaningless in response to a comment that a cricket fan made on his tweet about paying tribute to the South African legend AB de Villiers on his retirement. Mitchell McClenaghan also stated that the Kiwis are playing 3 games in 5 days with a team that has already taken rest for 10 days as India got knocked in the league phase of the T20I World Cup.

The head coach of the New Zealand side, Gary Stead and stand-in skipper Tim Southee, who is leading the squad in the absence of Kane Williamson because the latter preferred to take some rest prior to the two match test series, also feel the same way that things are happening too quick for them. Gary Stead says that this is the first time a series is being played so soon after the World Cup got over, adding that though it is challenging yet it is what they have to deal with.

Before the first T20I match, Tim Southee stated that it was a very busy schedule but they were aware of it even before the World Cup started. He adds that the world has gone through very tough times in the last couple of years and things have become quite difficult with bubbles, quarantine, etc. Tim Southee further says that he is not sure of what is going to take place in future, whether players will play in bubbles or not, but whatever the case may be, the players will need to adjust and bear with the pressure as well.
