“India Has Not Got A Wicketkeeper Like Mahi Bhai,” Virat Kohli Pulls Leg Of Rishabh Pant

The IPL fever has come to an end with MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings winning the IPL 2021 after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the finals which took place yesterday at Dubai International Stadium. This is the fourth time that the Chennai franchise has won the IPL trophy under the leadership of MS Dhoni and it was the 9th time that it played in the finals of the tournament.

Even though the IPL 2021 has ended, the craze of cricket is not going to lower down as the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is starting from tomorrow. The Indian team will play its first World Cup match on 24th October against its arch rival, Pakistan and cricket lovers of both the nations are eagerly waiting for the clash.

Recently, Star Sports posts a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which Virat Kohli remembers MS Dhoni during a virtual chat with Rishabh Pant and tells Pant that team India hasn’t found a wicket-keeper like MS Dhoni after he retired.

In the video, Virat tells Rishabh Pant that in T20s, sixes win matches and in response, Rishabh Pant says that Virat needs not worry as he (Pant) is practicing daily. At the same time, Pant doesn’t fail to remind Kohli that it was a wicketkeeper who made India win the ICC World Cup after hitting a six. Pant was referring to the 2011 ICC World Cup when in the finals, the skipper MS Dhoni smashed a six as a winning shot at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Virat agrees but at one fell swoop, he also mentions that the Indian squad hasn’t got a wicketkeeper like Mahi since then. In response, Pant says that he is India’s wicketkeeper and the captain replies that he has many wicketkeepers, let’s see who will play in the warm-up matches.

Rahul Dravid Breaks Silence On Infamous Cap Throwing Incident From IPL 2014 During MIvsRR

Rahul Dravid, the former Indian cricketer, is certainly a true gentleman of the game as he is one of the coolest and calmest players of the cricket world. We have rarely seen Dravid losing his temper during the game but there is one instance when he threw his cap in anger and he is certainly not proud of what he did.

The incident dates back to the IPL 2014 when Rahul Dravid was the mentor of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals and it was the last league match which RR had to play against Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians. Though it was not necessary for RR to defeat MI and earn two points for making it into the play-offs, the team had to stop MI from chasing the target successfully in 14.3 overs. The match was played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and batting first, RR gave a target of 190 runs to MI. The Mumbai batters were literally on fire as they tied the score by making 189 runs in 14.3 overs and everyone including the RR camp was happy with the fact that it had managed to make place in the play-offs but then an update came as per which if a six was smashed on the 14.4th delivery, MI’s score would be 195 and they would be able to enter the play-offs on the basis of net run rate.

The MI batter smashed a six as the winning shot and Rahul Dravid who was in the dug-out stood up and threw his cap on the ground in frustration. Though Dravid picked up the cap immediately, fans saw something which they never expected.

Talking about the incident in a video on Cred’s YouTube Channel, Rahul Dravid says that it is certainly not one of the proudest moments of his career. He adds that he has always tried to control his emotions and mostly he has managed to do so but thing with the international cricket is that one has to handle a lot of pressure. He further says that many eyes are on the cricketers all the time focusing on what they are doing both on-the field and off-the-field and the best way to deal with it is to shut out the noise. Rahul Dravid also revealed that it was not the first time with him that such an incident happened but it was the first time that it took place in public while at all other times, it used to happen in the dressing room.

The Indian cricket fans are quite happy to hear that Rahul Dravid has finally agreed to take over as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. The current head coach Ravi Shastri’s tenure is going to end with the ICC T20 World Cup so the Board of Control for Cricket in India was already looking for a new candidate as Ravi Shastri has made it clear that he doesn’t intend to continue after the World Cup. Earlier, Rahul Dravid refused to work as the head coach and wanted to continue heading the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, but ultimately the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah managed to convince him.

Do You Know Akshay Kumar Got Irrfan Khan Replaced In This Superhit Movie Coz He Wanted It?

There is no denying the fact that Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors as he releases 3-4 movies every year and in the last few years, he has given some fims which were based on patriotism and social causes such as “Baby”, “Mission Mangal”, “Kesari”, “Gold”, “Padman”, “Airlift”, etc. The Bollywood superstar started his career as an action hero but later on, he also tried his hands in the comedy genre which was also loved by audiences and now he is counted among the most successful actors of the industry.

“Airlift” which hit the theatres in 2016 was one of the superhit movies of Akshay Kumar and it was based on the story of evacuation of the Indians from Kuwait after Saddam Hussein’s Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. The flick was directed by Raja Krishna Menon and also starred Nimrat Kaur in the female lead. Nikkhil Advani, one of the producers of “Airlift”, recently revealed that Akshay Kumar was not the first choice for the lead role in the film but the “Bell Bottom” actor convinced the makers for changing the actor and eventually it was Akshay Kumar who bagged the movie.

In a recent interview, Nikkhil Advani stated that once he went to meet Akshay Kumar to narrate him a story but the actor straightway refused it and asked Nikkhil about his other projects. Nikkhil told him about “Airlift” which he was not directing but it was based on a real story.

Next morning, Akshay asked Nikkhil as to why he didn’t offer him “Airlift” and in reply, the producer said that because he (Akshay) would never do it as it had no song and was to be directed by RK Menon whose last movie was “Barah Aana”. Nikkhil Advani also told Akshay that the director already had Irrfan Khan in mind for the lead role but Akshay insisted on doing the role and he asked Nikkhil Advani to convince the director for changing the actor.

As we all know the late actor Irrfan Khan didn’t act in “Airlift” but it is also true that Akshay Kumar nailed the lead role completely. What do you say?

Steps To Keep Your Business Finances In Check

One of the most important golden rules to implement when you run a business is to keep your finances in check. Most businesses that fail do so because they run out of cash or get into debt. In this guide, we’ll explore some steps you can take to manage your money effectively.

Setting deadlines

Setting deadlines is hugely beneficial for business owners because it enables them to plan ahead and ensure a steady, stable flow of cash. If you send out invoices to clients and they don’t get paid for weeks or months, there is a risk of cash flow issues and you may find that you are unable to cover expenses and outgoings because you’re waiting on payments. Establish firm deadlines from the outset, make the payment date clear when you communicate with clients and offer services and issue a reminder as the date draws near. Follow up unpaid invoices and make sure you have plans in place to recover funds if clients are unable to pay or they refuse to respond to calls or mail.

Using budgets

Budgeting is one of the most effective techniques for managing funds and regulating spending. Every business owner should work to a budget, which covers income, regular expenses and one-off outgoings in the month or quarter ahead. With an accurate budget, you can plan how to spend your money, set spending limits and reduce the risk of getting into debt or falling behind with payments. Use your budget to see how much you can afford to spend or reinvest in the company and try to set aside funds for emergencies or unexpected disruptions or setbacks. Running a business can be unpredictable, and managers and directors may have to contend with obstacles or incidents that require an injection of cash or funds to bridge a gap caused by a fall in sales or downtime, for example.

If you are new to budgeting, you can find advice online and it’s also possible to take advantage of apps and online tools that provide templates and tips to help make budgeting for business simple and stress-free.

Forecasting

When you own a company, it’s always beneficial to think about the future and try to plan ahead as best you can. Forecasting is a means of looking ahead and analyzing figures to help you regulate spending and predict profits and losses. If you’re not experienced in accounting, and you haven’t used forecasting before, you can use software and apps or seek expert advice from an accountant. Effective forecasting can help you draw up tailored strategies for your business based on data and trends, which can help you to expand, grow and iron out potential issues.

Checking balances and auditing statements

Many business owners are incredibly diligent when it comes to checking balances and going through statements, but some don’t know what is going on with their accounts. If you tend to go for weeks without looking at your bank balance, or you don’t know exactly how much money you have in your accounts, now is the time to maintain a firmer grip on your finances. Check your accounts frequently, keep an eye on balances and transactions and analyze your payments to make sure that you know where your money goes. Highlight areas where you are overspending and try to reduce expenses where possible if you are trying to save or increase profit margins. If you are on the ball and you keep a handle on your books, you should be able to cut out unnecessary costs and spot early warning signs of cash flow issues or falling sales.

Understanding tax

Paying tax is different when you own a company. Rather than paying through your wages as employees do, you will be expected to pay business taxes. Tax can be complex if you haven’t managed a company before, but there are ways to simplify the process and find answers to questions like what is a TIN number, how much tax do I need to pay and what kinds of expenses are tax-deductible? If you have any queries about paying tax, it is always beneficial to search online using reputable sources and government websites and to seek advice from accounting firms or freelancers who have experience in working with businesses. Experts can help you complete your tax return accurately, ensure that you pay your tax bill on time and make sure that you benefit from tax relief and deductions for expenses. Hiring an accountant can also free up time and eliminate stress when the deadline is looming.

Managing expenses

It is natural to think about boosting profits by supercharging sales, but bringing more money into the business is not the only way to enhance margins. It is also beneficial to monitor and manage spending. If your expenses are too high, your profits will suffer even if you’re attracting more customers and sales are increasing. Look for ways to improve efficiency and lower your outgoings. Investing in technology, capping employee expenses and looking into flexible staffing models are examples of steps that could help you reduce expenses without compromising on quality or customer service. Use your budget to pinpoint areas where spending is excessive and set limits. You could save a substantial amount of money on wages if you offer short-term contracts for a seasonal business rather than hiring permanent members of staff and swapping business trips for video conferences, for example.

Outsourcing

Keeping a business afloat involves tackling multiple tasks, and often, employers cannot afford to hire employees who have all the skills necessary to achieve key objectives. Outsourcing offers an alternative to hiring new employees, providing access to skills that you may not have in-house. With outsourcing, you can pay a fee in exchange for services, which optimize operations and free up time for your core team to concentrate on the tasks that are essential for the daily running of the business. Consider a medical practice. The primary aim is to provide clients and patients with effective treatments and therapies. If you outsource IT support, cleaning and waste disposal and digital marketing, you can provide an excellent service for clients, ensure you are fully compliant, protect against disruptions and technical issues and generate leads while focusing on patient care.

David Warner Reacts To Stats Of Most Runs Scored By Captains In IPL, Virat Kohli In On Top

The journey of Royal Challengers Bangalore once again ended with disappointment as the team failed to make it to the finals after getting defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator and its wait for the first IPL trophy still continues. Though Virat Kohli has confirmed that he will play only for RCB in the IPL, this was his last season as the captain of the Bangalore franchise. Virat Kohli has been playing for RCB since the inaugural edition of 2008 and since 2013, he has been leading the squad but he has failed to make RCB win the IPL trophy even once.

However as a batsman, Virat Kohli has been amazing and he has played some really sensational innings in his career which helped his team in winning matches. Virat is the highest run scorer of the IPL as a captain with 4881 runs; his strike rate is 133.32 and average is 42.07.

Recently, a tweet was shared by ESPN cricinfo about the most runs by captains in the IPL and while Virat Kohli is at the first spot, the Australian cricketer David Warner is at the fifth rank with 2840 runs at an average of 47.33 with the strike rate of 142.28.

David Warner also reacted on the post and shared it with the caption, “Not bad at all @imVkohli 2016 was a different level almost 1000 for the season”.

David Warner is absolutely correct as in 2016, Virat Kohli was on a roll and he scored 973 runs which is the highest by any batsman in the IPL. Kohli’s performances with bat helped his team in booking a berth in the finals of the tournament but RCB and Virat’s dream run was ended by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

David Warner-led SRH defeated RCB in the finals of the IPL 2016 and SRH won its first ever IPL trophy. Warner himself played some really great knocks in the tournament as he amassed 848 runs in that season.

Talking about the IPL 2021, it was a nightmare for David Warner and SRH; Warner started the season as the skipper but due to his poor form and bad performance of the team, he was removed from captaincy and later on, he also lost his place in the playing eleven of the team. Things turned uglier when he was not even taken to the stadium and he watched matches of his team on television in his hotel room.

David Warner will play for a new franchise now as the mega-auction for the league is going to take place next year.
