Paytm CEO Boasts About His 8 Hrs Long Zoom Call, Gets Trolled For glorifying Over-Work Culture

The coronavirus pandemic has taught us to live our lives in a completely different manner as students are attending classes online, many of us are working from homes and now meetings are also getting conducted online in place of conference halls. There is no denying the fact that some of us are finding it difficult or annoying to live this way as we are missing the excitement of actually going to the respective place and doing things but it is also true that staying at home is the best way to save ourselves from the lethal virus, even though the things are getting back to normal to a large extent.

Recently, the CEO of Paytm, Vijay Shekhar Sharma made a tweet in which he talked about the long length of his Zoom call. He might have shared this information without any purpose or must be hoping to get showered with praises for all the hard work that he was doing but he got trolled as most of the online users felt that so long Zoom calls are a waste of time as a person can’t remain focused for such a long time.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s tweet read, “Just finished my probably, the longest Zoom call. 7 hours 45 mins.”

Some online users are unhappy with Paytm CEO for promoting the toxic work culture in which a person is left with no time for himself and his family. Many others also say that if the things are organized and done properly, a lot of time would have been saved while several netizens react in a hilarious way, saying that students do it for 8 hours or so.

However, it won’t be wrong to say that both the teams have played some great cricket yet the Indian squad has showed that it is better than the hosts as it stands as the winner by 2-1.

The fourth test match which was played at Oval can easily be termed as one of the best examples to show how a team makes a comeback in the match after failing in the first innings. England won the toss and made the visitors bat first, the English bowlers troubled the Indian batters a lot and wrapped up the whole Indian team for just 191 runs in the first innings. The Indian bowlers also managed to restrict the English side at the score of 290 and then team India showed exemplary determination as it made a huge score of 466 runs in its second innings. Though the English openers gave a good start to their team by producing a 100 run partnership, the other batsmen of England played in a disappointing manner and the whole team was back in pavilion at the score of 210 as a result of which India won the match by 157 runs.

Shardul Thakur played an important role in India’s win at Oval as he scored half-centuries in both the innings and also took 3 wickets in the match. During an interview to a leading daily, he talked about the approach of the team on the day 5 of the Oval test. He stated that everyone in the Indian team believed that they would win the match and there was no one who even thought of draw. As per him, the team members were pretty confident that either Jadeja or Bumrah would get wickets as it was never easy to bat on the last day pitch. Shardul Thakur said that it was a collective effort and the Indian team had been working hard to get this type of result. He is of the opinion that the players need to have a positive attitude all the time as there is no scope for negativity in the current team’s dressing room.

He also talked about the conversation that he had with Sam Curran with whom he shares dressing room in the IPL as they both play for Chennai Super Kings. Shardul Thakur revealed that Sam Curran told him that the English team would score 100 runs easily without losing any wicket as the pitch was flat. In reply, the Indian cricketer told him that he would get the breakthrough, England would lose five wickets in a quick manner and India would win the match. Shardul Thakur further said that whatever he told Sam Curran came true.

Now Shardul Thakur will be seen in the second leg of the IPL 2021 which is going to start from September 19 in UAE.

Sourav Ganguly Revealed Why MS Dhoni Was Appointed As Team India’s Mentor For T20 World Cup

The Indian cricket team for the ICC T20 World Cup has been announced and MS Dhoni will also be a part of the Indian camp despite the fact that he has taken retirement from the international cricket. Well, the former Indian skipper will be donning the new role of mentor for the Indian squad which hasn’t won an ICC trophy since 2013.

While many people are very happy after knowing that Mahi will be with team India as a mentor, there are few such as former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja who is not able to understand the reason behind this new development, especially when the team already has a head coach under whose guidance the Indian squad has performed quite well and won series not just in India but overseas as well.

Now the former Indian skipper and current President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has opened up on this matter. During an interview, Sourav Ganguly states that after a lot of discussion, this decision has been taken. According to him, Dhoni has been appointed for helping the Indian squad as he has a great record in the T20 format for team India as well as for his IPL team Chennai Super Kings. Sourav Ganguly further talked about the former Australian cricketer Steve Waugh who was in the similar role with the Australian team when the Ashes was drawn at 2-2. Ganguly is of the opinion that the presence of such big cricketers is also of a great help in important tournaments.

There is no denying the fact that MS Dhoni is certainly one of the most successful Indian skippers and his knowledge and experience will be very helpful for the Indian team even if he won’t step on the field. It was Dhoni under whose leadership the Indian cricket team won the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and then broke the 28 years jinx by winning the ICC World Cup in 2011.

The last time team India won any ICC tournament was in 2013 when India won the ICC Champions Trophy and that time also the skipper was MS Dhoni. Mahi is the only skipper who has won three ICC trophies and the Indian team may have performed well under Virat Kohli too but it is true that India hasn’t won any major tournament under his captaincy.
As far as the IPL is concerned, MSD is the second most successful skipper with three IPL wins while Virat Kohli and his team Royal Challengers Bangalore are still waiting for their maiden IPL title.

We are sure that Dhoni will be of great help for the Indian skipper and team India in the T20 World Cup which will be played in UAE and Oman after the IPL 2021.

Ravindra Jadeja Expressed His Wish Of Becoming CSK Skipper After MS Dhoni But Deleted Tweet

The second leg of the IPL 2021 is going to start from September 19 and Chennai Super Kings will certainly like to win its fourth IPL title this time especially when it has performed pretty well in the first leg of the league. CSK was at the second position in the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches before the league got postponed due to COVID-19.

MS Dhoni, the skipper of CSK, is the second most successful captain of the league and over the time, he has earned the reputation of being one of the finest cricketers of all times. However, it is also true that age is not on his side and the Chennai franchise will need to look for a new skipper in a year or so.
