Deepak Chahar, the young Indian cricketer, became the Internet sensation after he scripted the Indian victory in the second ODI against Sri Lanka which was played at the R. Premdasa Stadium, Colombo. Deepak Chahar is a pacer who also bats lower down the order but yesterday he gave an all-round performance as he not only played a superb knock of 69 runs but also took two wickets.
Batting first, the hosts put up a score of 275/9 on the board but the Indian batting line-up fumbled a little in the second ODI and there was a time when India was 193/7 with 83 runs to chase in 14.5 overs. Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar batted sensibly and ensured that India attained victory in the series by winning the second ODI. While Deepak Chahar scored 69 runs not out in his fighting knock for which he faced 82 deliveries, Bhuvneshwar Kumar kept the other end secured by playing supportive innings of 19 runs not out in 28 deliveries.
After the win, while many social media users praised Deepak Chahar for his “never say die” attitude, there were some who brought everyone’s attention on the new hairstyle of the cricketer.
Deepak Chahar’s new hairstyle is quite similar to the hairstyle of a character which was played by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan in the movie “Ghajini”.
That character had a medical condition of short-term memory loss because of which he used to forget everything and the online users are saying in a funny spirit that because of his hairstyle, Deepak Chahar forgot that he is a bowler and played a superb innings like a top-order batsman.

The Indian cricket squad has taken an unassailable lead in the 3-match ODI series by 2-0 after registering a sensational win in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. The team which was given the tag of the second string squad by the former Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga proved that this team may lack experience in comparison to the team which is being headed by Virat Kohli but it doesn’t lack determination and grit.
The second ODI was also played at R. Premdasa stadium and after winning the toss, the hosts decided to bat first. The start of the Sri Lankan innings was pretty good as their openers Avishka Fernando (50) and Minod Bhanuka (36) produced a partnership of 77 runs for the first wicket. Charith Asalanka (65) and Chamika Karunaratne (44) also made useful contributions which helped the Sri Lankan team in posting a total of 275/9 on the score board. For the Indian side, the vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took 3-3 wickets each while Deepak Chahar dismissed two Sri Lankan batsmen.
The target was not that big but this time, the Sri Lankan bowlers were prepared in a better manner and they didn’t let the Indian openers Prithvi Shaw (13) and Shikhar Dhawan (29) bat as freely as they did in the first ODI. Ishan Kishan who scored a brilliant half-century in the first ODI got out on the score of 1 but Suryakumar Yadav once again played a responsible innings of 53 runs. While Hardik Pandya was not able to open his account, Krunal Pandya got out at 35 but Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar ensured that the Indian squad wins the series by attaining victory in the second ODI.
There was a time when team India had lost 7 wickets at the score of 193 and it felt as if the hosts would level the series but Deepak Chahar played a smashing knock of 69 runs not out for which he played 82 balls and his innings included 7 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by Bhuvneshwar Kumar who scored 19 runs not out and India achieved the target with 5 balls remaining in their innings.
Deepak Chahar was adjourned as the Player of the Match for his superb knock and 2 wickets. During the presentation ceremony, he says that there can’t be a better way than this to win the match for the nation and this is what a player dreams of when he starts playing for the country. He added that he was told by the head coach Rahul Dravid that he should play all the deliveries and as he played some useful knocks of India A in the past, Dravid had faith in him and told him that he can be the no. 7 in the team.
Chahar further said that as the Indian team has a wonderful batting lineup, he may not even get a chance to bat in the coming games and this was his first time in such a pressure situation. While talking about chasing the target, he said that they played ball by ball and it was only after the target came under 50, he started playing big shots.

She went to that boy and asked him to hand over the smartphone at once in a threatening style.
The “Pagalpanti” actress further said that after taking his phone, she took him to the headmaster where she gave the phone to the headmaster and warned the boy that he did it that day but must not dare to do it next time.
After 5-6 years, Kriti went to attend the wedding of her friend and she wished the couple on the stage. When the groom asked the bride about Kriti as he had never met her, the bride told him that she was the same girl who took his smartphone and handed over to the headmaster.
Though Kriti didn’t recognize the groom, she felt a little bad after she came to know about what happened between her and the groom.

In a shocking development, the Mumbai Police took Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in custody in relation to an obscene adult content case yesterday (19 July 2021).
As per the Mumbai Police, Raj Kundra is involved in the creation of adult movies and then getting them published on some apps. The Mumbai Police has claimed that they have enough evidences against Raj Kundra who is the key conspirator in this case according to them.
The Mumbai Police Commissioner told the press that Raj Kundra has been arrested in connection with the case which was filed in February this year and till now 12 people including the actress Gehana Vasisth have been arrested by the cops.
The investigation was going on for quite some time now but the police got suspicious about Raj Kundra after they found out that Kenrin, a UK-based firm, is also involved in this case and its executive Umesh Kamat has worked with Raj Kundra earlier. The Mumbai Police has stated that Umesh Kamat has posted minimum 8 obscene videos online and all of them featured the actress Gehana Vasisth.
The police has also found some WhatsApp chats of Raj Kundra with his business associates which not only indicate Raj’s involvement in this case but also make him the mastermind of whole case.
As soon as the news of Raj Kundra’s arrest went viral, people started expressing their opinion on this matter and while some demanded that Bollywood should be boycotted, many others took this as an opportunity to have fun by posting memes and jokes.

Every year many people lose their lives due to road accidents and what is more hurtful is that these accidents can be avoided if drivers follow the safety rules properly. However, another big reason of road accidents is bad condition of roads and while we Indians keep on ranting against the authorities for poor conditions of roads which damage further when it rains, this problem persists in other countries as well.
Recently, an online user from United Kingdom posted a photo of a damaged road which was fixed by the authorities by using tar and gravel as a result of which the road had patches of both the components.
The pic was captioned with, “Only in Britain would a road look like this.”
