David Warner Recreating Akshay Kumar’s Popular “Hera Pheri” Pose Leaves Rashid Khan In Splits

David Warner, the Australian cricketer is always in news whether he is playing cricket or not. He was last seen in the IPL 2021 before it got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and he was supposed to join his team for the tour to West Indies and Bangladesh but he along with six other Aussie cricketers pulled out of the tour. Though David Warner had a poor outing in the IPL 2021, he will certainly like to perform well when the remaining matches of the tournament will be played in UAE in the months of September-October just before the T20I World Cup.

Warner is quite famous on social media networks and he has garnered a huge Indian fan following with the help of videos that he makes on the songs of Hindi and other language movies. He has shared many videos in which he replaces his face on the faces of the actors in the songs and it won’t be wrong to say that he has certainly impressed the Indian audiences with his antics.

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal starrer “Hera Pheri” is one of the most popular movies of the Indian film industry and a number of memes have been made by using the scenes and stills of the film. Recently, David Warner tried to recreate a meme which is based on the iconic pose given by Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood and Warner posted it by asking fans as to who has done it better.

Check out the pic:

Here is the post:

While his fans and followers started commenting and gave their opinions, the Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan who is David Warner’s teammate in the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad was left in splits and reacted on the post with laughing emojis.

The Aussie cricketer was quick to react and asked Rashid Khan as to why he was laughing at him.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a pretty bad season in this IPL as they managed to win only one match out of the seven matches that they played. David Warner was not only sacked from captaincy but he was also dropped from the playing eleven against Rajasthan Royals and that too didn’t work as SRH under the leadership of Kane Williamson lost a match as well.

What do you think of David Warner’s post? Who did it better – Akshay Kumar or the Aussie cricketer?

Shoaib Akhtar Lashes Out At Pakistan Team & Management After Whitewash Against England

The Pakistani cricket team has a reputation of being unpredictable and recently on the tour of England, they once again behaved in an unpredictable manner. When the Pakistani squad was expected to win the 3-match ODI series comfortably against the second string squad of England, the Men in Green not only lost the series but they ended up being whitewashed.

The majority of the former cricketers and cricketing experts were of the opinion that Pakistan would not be having any problem in winning the series as they will be facing a team which can be called England A but things turned out completely different.

Pakistan’s batting was disappointing in the first two matches but in the third one, they were not able to win the match even after scoring a big score of 331. This certainly left the Pakistani cricket lovers and former cricketers in a state of sorrow as they never expected this result of the series. The former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar also slammed Babar Azam led Pakistan team and management for the team’s poor performance.

On his YouTube channel, the former Pakistani pacer who was also known as Rawalpindi Express said to the current Pakistani players that if they keep on performing like this, there will be a dip in their fan following and they won’t get an inspiring cricketer to play for them and they will never get another Wasim Akram, Afridi or Shoaib Akhtar to play for the country. The former Pakistani cricketer further said that if they keep on thinking like average people, the decisions taken by them will also be average and it will result in average performances only.

Shoaib Akhtar said that the situation of the Pakistan cricket and management is hopeless at the moment and he is not saying all this just because he needs a job but because he is hurt as he himself played this game for the country and ensured that people got the worth of their money which is not happening currently.

The former pacer also took a jibe at the board officials of Pakistan by saying that it is a serious matter which needs proper attention but people in the board are turning blind eye to it as they are average persons themselves.

Now the Pakistani team will like to win the 3-match T20I series against England in order to redeem their respect and confidence while the Three Lions will like to repeat their success of ODIs in T20Is as well.

Chris Gayle Opens Up On New Bat Stickers, Reveals ICC Doesn’t Want Him To Use ‘Universe Boss’

The West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle has once again proved that the age is just a number as he has played a match-winning knock in the third T20I against the Australian cricket team. There were some people who had problem with Chris Gayle getting place in the West Indian squad as the destructive batsman was not in good touch but in the third T20I which was played at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, St. Lucia, he was back in his sublime form and scored 67 runs in just 38 balls when no Aussie batter was able to score runs in a comfortable manner. Chris Gayle played an explosive innings which included 4 fours and 7 sixes and it helped his team in winning the match by chasing the target of 142 in just 14.5 overs.

Batting first, Australia scored 141/6 while the West Indian team achieved the target with 31 balls remaining and won the match by 6 wickets. With this victory, the hosts have taken the invincible lead of 3-0 in the 5-match T20I series.

The 41 years old West Indian cricketer who loves to call himself the Universe Boss was pretty happy with his performance and was seen sporting a sticker of “The Boss” on his bat. While talking about the sticker, Chris Gayle discloses that the apex cricket body International Cricket Council (ICC) doesn’t want him to use “Universe Boss” because of which he has shortened it as “The Boss”.

On being questioned whether ICC has copyrighted the term “Universe Boss”, Chris Gayle says that it is he who has to copyright it as technically he is the boss. When the left-handed batsman was asked whether it was difficult for him to face and score at the bowling of the Australian pacers as Mitchell Starc and Riley Meredith were bowling at a good pace and body reflexes get slow with increasing age, Chris Gayle said that he used his experience to score runs.

Well, these statements certainly speak a lot about the confidence and attitude of Chris Gayle and you can hear him saying this in a video clip posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter by a cricketing portal.

While the West Indians have already taken an invincible lead, they will like to clean sweep the series by winning the two remaining matches as well. On the other hand, the visitors will like to win the remaining two matches to save some respect.

Restaurant Owner Takes Staff On A Trip To Vegas For Working Hard During COVID Pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has been pretty harsh on all and sundry, while some of us have been fortunate enough to retain their jobs, several others have been quite unlucky as they lost their jobs but there are very few who are as lucky as the employees of a restaurant based in Louisville, USA.

You will be shocked to know that even in such critical times when the owner of the restaurant noticed that his staff members gave so much of efforts and worked very hard, he decided to take them to a vacation in Vegas and closed the restaurant for a week.

We are talking about Ramen House and the name of the restaurant’s owner is Jonathan Ham. In an interview, Jonathan Ham says that he feels it should not be about money always and his people love working for the eatery. He adds that his staff members believe in being a part of the restaurant and the trip to Vegas is just a gesture of thanks from his side.

The owner paid the travel expenses of 12 employees and those employees who were not able to go on the trip were paid bonuses. The information regarding the trip was given by the restaurant through its Facebook page in which it posted the photos of its employees who were waiting at the airport.

The caption on the post read, “Sorry we are closed this week.. our employees have worked so hard and diligently through all the crazy times we went through. They deserve a break. So we’ve decided to take them to Vegas. We will return next week during normal business hours. Till then ✌.”

The post soon went viral and they got invited at Manizza’s Pizza Parlor’s, Vegas, for enjoying an Italian treat. Ramen House posted about it as well on its Instagram page and it also informed that the owner of Manizza’s Pizza Parlor’s is also from Louisville, USA.

We sincerely hope that other employers also take a note from the owner of Ramen House and treat their employees in a better manner. Who won’t like to work for this restaurant?

Twitter Trolls Javed Akhtar For Suggesting Use Of ‘HESH’ & ‘SHIM’ As Gender Neutral Words

Many times we have seen people debating over the matter of using he/she or his/her for the writing or speaking purposes as they feel that the use of he/his is insulting towards the female gender. This has resulted in increasing demand of using she/her for the writing purposes especially and due to this, the veteran Bollywood lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar has come up with two words which are gender neutral so that equal respect is given to both the genders. The two words that are invented by Javed Akhtar are HESH for he/she and SHIM for him/her.

Javed Akhtar took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “In any speech article or conversation to give equal respect to both the genders we constantly say and write he / she and Him or her. Why can’t we invent two words like for he/she – HESH and for him/ her – SHIM”.

Soon the tweet went viral and people started reminding the lyricist that there are already “they/them” words in the English language which are gender neutral. Some Twitterati objected by saying that he is identifying only two genders and there are some who are not a part of both these genders while several others troll Javed Akhtar, saying that the old man has lost it.

Wasim Jaffer Compares England Football Manager With Shah Rukh In A Movie Post Euro Defeat

Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian cricketer, is known for posting superb tweets on various occasions. Whether it’s wishing on birthday to someone, sharing his opinion on any issue or giving a perfect reply to the former England cricketer Michael Vaughan, he certainly knows how to make people smile.

He once again displayed his pretty good observation skills when he made a tweet after Italy defeated England in the finals of the Euro Cup 2020. Italy won the match in the penalty shoot out by 3-2 and Wasim Jaffer then posted a tweet in which he used a collage of two photos.

One image was of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan from the movie “Chak De! India” while the second photo was of England manager Gareth Southgate. Jaffer compared both of them as Shah Rukh’s character in the movie was of a hockey player who was slammed by people as they felt that SRK’s character helped Pakistan in the winning a crucial game.

However later on, Shah Rukh Khan was appointed the coach of the Indian women’s hockey team and he helped them in winning the World Cup. On the other hand, Gareth Southgate lost the Euro Cup in 1996 in a penalty shootout when he used to play football and now he again lost the match as a manager and that too in a penalty shootout.

Wasim Jaffer captioned the tweet, “Only if it was a Bollywood movie #EURO2020 #GarethSouthgate #Italy #ItsGoingRome”

Currently, Argentina is also celebrating in a wild manner as its football team led by Lionel Messi has broken the 28 years old jinx and won the Copa America Cup after defeating Brazil by 1-0.

The cricket fans will also have a great time from tomorrow as the Indian cricket squad led by Shikhar Dhawan will be playing limited overs cricket starting tomorrow. Team India will be playing 3 ODIs and the same number of T20Is against Sri Lanka on this tour.

James Neesham Takes A Dig At Boundary Rule Post England Lost Euro 2020 On Penalty Shootout

The 2019 World Cup final which was played between New Zealand and England was one of the most controversial matches of the cricket history. Batting first, the Kiwis gave a target of 242 to the England team that managed 241 runs because of which the game ended in a tie.

The match went into Super Over and the team which had scored more runs would have been the winner but both the teams ended up scoring 15 runs. However, the authorities came up with the decision of declaring England as the winner because they had scored more boundaries.

This led to a heated debate as majority of the cricket fans were completely against of this rule which has been scrapped now but it certainly resulted in New Zealand losing the chance of winning the World Cup title. The New Zealand players including Jimmy Neesham were very frustrated because of this defeat and Neesham even asked kids not to take sports as a career in a tweet that he posted.

On July 12, the Euro Cup 2020 final which was played between England and Italy ended up in a tie with both the teams scoring 1 goal each and the game went into penalty shootout. Italy emerged as the winner as they scored 3 goals while England managed only 2 and this gave a chance to Jimmy Neesham to take a dig at the boundary rule.

Jimmy Neesham took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Why is it a penalty shootout and not just whoever made the most passes wins? #joking 😂

It was not difficult for fans to understand what Jimmy Neesham was talking about, however there is nothing that can be done in this regard so it is better to let go the past. What do you say?
