Tim Paine Predicted India Would Win WTC Final, Reacted After Facing Backlash From NZ Fans

The New Zealand cricket squad has become the first team to win the World Test Championship after defeating the Indian side in the finals which was played from June 18 to June 24 at Rose Bowl, Southampton. New Zealand won the rain-affected match by 8 wickets and Kyle Jamieson was adjudged as the player of the match for his superb bowling performance.

Most of the former cricketers and experts were of the opinion that the Kiwis had a better chance of winning the finals as they had played 2-match test series against England before the WTC final because of which they had better understanding of the English playing conditions. However, the Australian skipper Tim Paine felt otherwise and he predicted that team India would win the WTC final easily.

Tim Paine must have given this prediction based on the performance of the Indian team against Australia and England. While India defeated Australia in the test series by 2-1 in their own backyard (Australia), England was defeated by 3-1 by the Indian squad at home. After New Zealand won the match, fans of the Black Caps trolled Tim Paine and now the Aussie skipper has opened up on this matter as well as apologized to his fans from NZ.

While speaking in an interview, Tim Paine accepted that he had been on the receiving end of the Kiwi supporters for a little while now so he thought of coming on air and accept that he made a mistake. He applauded the Kiwi cricketers and said that they played in a wonderful manner. Tim Paine goes on to say that he respects what the New Zealand squad is doing at an international stage, especially because they are a very small nation.

Paine showers praises on the Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson and says that the New Zealand team has certainly performed pretty well under him. Tim Paine also lauds Kylie Jamieson, the young Kiwi pacer who troubles the batsmen as well because of his tall height.

Apart from these, Paine also heaped praises on Devon Conway, the South Africa-born New Zealand cricketer who opened the innings for his team and scored a half century in the first innings of the WTC final. Tim Paine says that Devon Conway has been performing well in all the formats for his team and getting a good start is always great for a team which has quality players like Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls etc.

There was only one match scheduled for the WTC final but many former cricketers demanded best of three-finals for deciding the winner. What is your take on this matter? Do let us know.

Presently, the former cricketer is holidaying in Shimla with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva and the fans are often delighted with the beautiful photos on the official Instagram handle of Sakshi and also of the Meena Bagh Homes, the cottage where the Dhonis are staying.

After having great vacations and before returning to his home, MS Dhoni did something because of which his fans are showering love and affection on him. In order to show his support to both the messages, Dhoni signed those planks and Meena Bagh Homes shared the pic with the caption, “We had some boring slogans but he’s put his signatures to them. MeenaBagh Ratnari. HP. June 2021. (For our tree-hugging activist friends: the wood here is wood thrown by wood mills as waste and is called ‘waste wood’. It’s usually used for bonfires in Himachal’s winter)”.

Here is the post:

The photo posted by Meena Bagh Homes was also shared by the official Twitter handle of CSK with the caption, “Planting the right thoughts! Thala”

Though Meena Bagh Homes has made it clear that the wood used by them is the wood thrown by the wood mills and it is called waste wood but many online users slammed the CSK skipper for giving the message of planting trees while standing in a wooden cottage.

This is how Twitter reacted over it:

Manage Your Business Remotely

Remote business management is becoming more and more common, especially in the past year as a result of the global pandemic and subsequent lockdown. If you are thinking about switching to a more remote mode of operating your business, there are a few things you will probably want to bear in mind. In this article, we are going to discuss some of the effective methods for managing your business remotely, whether you want to go completely remote or just partly. In either case, the following will likely help you to manage it better.

Utilise Communication Tools

There are many fantastic digital communication tools that you can use now, and this will be one of the first things you want to look into if you are trying to manage your business remotely. You’ll need to keep in touch with your team in whatever way you can, so you should consider what video conferencing software you will all use, and stick with it. That way, you can work out how to use it effectively and overcome its unique bugs and so on. It’s best if all the teams are using, say, Google Meet for all meetings.

Create A Conducive Virtual Environment

It’s not simply enough to allow people to work from wherever they like, and not worry about what the shared space is like. The fact is that there is still a shared space of some kind, a virtual environment which everyone in the business shares in some way or another, and you need to make sure that it is as conducive to good work as possible. There are a few essential ways in which you can do this, but the main point is that you need to think of it as a digital office, rather than just everyone in their own rooms.

Use A Centralised Address

Without one particular location to call your hub, you might want to try and ensure that you have somewhere where people can look if they are going to try and read the mail. There are a few approaches you can take here, but the best is to use a centralised address – one that everyone who needs to can access whenever they might need to do so. If you take a look at https://physicaladdress.com/ you will see an example of how well this can work, and it can mean that you can do away with physical mail forever more.

Improve Productivity

You will still need to think about the productivity of your employees, and that can be harder to do than you might initially think. However, it is still perfectly doable, and as long as you are happy to change a few things around, you can ensure that everyone is being as productive as necessary, and as you would hope. You don’t have to spy on them with intrusive software – a simple call to check in should be sufficient in most cases, and can also act as a courtesy call to see how they are doing.

China Says Its Wuhan Lab Deserves A Nobel Prize, Leaves Twitter Furious & Annoyed

The coronavirus pandemic wreaked havoc almost in each country of the world and surprisingly the developed nations which had better medical facilities were also not able to handle the situation in a proper manner. Around 39 lakh people have lost their lives worldwide due to COVID-19, many people lost their jobs and many businesses had to shut down as they were not able to survive the COVID-19 lockdown.

In the beginning, it was said that COVID-19 originated because of the bats which were eaten by the Chinese, later on it was reported that the COVID-19 virus is man-made and it had been created in a Chinese lab which is in Wuhan.

However, the Chinese government has always denied these allegations despite the fact that the former American President Donald Trump was so sure about it that he never hesitated in calling this virus as Chinese virus.

While many nations of the world are demanding a proper investigation for ascertaining the source and nature of COVID-19 (whether it’s man-made or not), the spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry, Zhau Lijian has made a demand which has annoyed the whole world.

Zhau Lijian stated that just because the genome sequence of the lethal virus was first identified by the scientists of China, it doesn’t mean that COVID-19 originated in Wuhan or was created by Chinese scientists. He further added that the team at Wuhan Lab should not be slammed but they deserve to be awarded with Nobel Prize in Medicine for the research that they have done on COVID-19.

Soon Twitter went berserk as people were not able to believe that even such a statement can be made by the Chinese spokesperson. This is how netizens expressed their annoyance and anger:
