Twitter Goes Crazy As Some Gamers Get Early Access To Battlegrounds Mobile India

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is undoubtedly one of the most popular mobile games and many of its fans were left in a state of shock and discomfort when the Indian government took the big step of banning it due to its Chinese connections.

The game is now being officially re-launched in India on 18th June (today) with a new name, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and the makers have been enticing the users by releasing teasers on a regular basis. Just like every other game, this game is also being tested on many levels before getting released because of which some pre-registered beta testers were able to download the game even prior to its release.

The link was shared by Battlegrounds Mobile India on June 16 and only pre-registered users were able to download and play it as the makers wanted to get it checked for the bugs and if there are any other issues in the game, they can be sorted out before the official release.

The PUBG lovers are very excited as they will once again be able to play their favourite game but it is certainly not the case with the parents of many kids. However, the good thing is that this time, the makers have put some restrictions especially for the kids which will help the parents in ensuring that their children don’t spend much time on the game and most importantly don’t get addicted to it.

Twitterati was also in full swing ahead of the release of the game and the micro-blogging site was full of memes and jokes.

US Man Who Called Indian Food Terrible 2 Years Ago Now Tasted Biryani & Became Its Fan

The Indians are pretty crazy about those things which make them happy or rather we should call them some moments of happiness amidst the daily struggles of life and such things are cricket, movies and food. We Indians are known for having spicy food with rich gravies but there are many other countries where people find it difficult even to taste such spicy food.

In 2019, an American author Tom Nichols did something which made many Indians very angry. It so happened that while responding to a tweet which asked the online users to post their most controversial food takes, Tom Nichols wrote, “Indian food is terrible and we pretend it isn’t”.

This caused a huge uproar on the social media as Indians who are quite touchy when it comes to their food were not able to ignore this insult and soon the American author understood that he made a big mistake as he was trolled mercilessly for his disrespecting tweet.

After some time, people forgot about it but by then Tom Nichols was suggested to have one more try at the Indian food by some of his friends. The former United States attorney Preet Bharara was also one of them and though Tom and Preet have never met each other in person, Tom accepted Preet’s invitation of having dinner together after the coronavirus pandemic got over.

Recently, Preet Bharara took Tom Nichols for dinner in a lovely restaurant Sona in the lower Manhattan. They ate many dishes such as mutton, fried ricotta, spicy shrimp, lamb chops, butter chicken, etc. but the dish which Tom Nichols liked the most was lamb biryani.

What was the best thing about this dinner was that they also decided to collect some fund through this dinner which would be used as relief fund for India as the country has been adversely affected by the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. By the time Tom Nichols wrote his column in USA Today, nearly $90K was collected for COVID-19 relief fund for India.

Tom Nichols also accepted that though the Indian food is not at the top spot in his list as of now, his tweet about the Indian food in 2019 was a dumb one.

Tom Nichols made a series of tweets in which he declared lamb biryani as the clear winner and soon Twitterati also reacted on this matter.

McDonalds’ Employee Quits Job & Left Note For Customers, Starts Debate On Less Pay & Pressure

The whole world has crumbled due to the coronavirus pandemic as many people have lost their lives while some others have lost their jobs; many businesses were not able to survive in these critical times and some of the businesses resorted to laying down the staff and survived with less staff members at reduced wages.

Representational Image

It won’t be incorrect to say that in this period, we all have become very concerned about our job because we know that if we lose this one, it will be highly difficult if not impossible to find another one. However, there comes a time when a person is not able to handle pressure as the workload has increased manifold but the salary has been the same as earlier, if not reduced.

A couple of days ago, a McDonald’s employee quit his job and he also pasted a note on the drive-thru of the fast food chain outlet which read, “We are closed because I am quitting and I hate this job”.

This was shared by a Twitter user with the photograph of the note and when he enquired about it, he got to know that the night shift manager quit his job all of a sudden and before leaving, he put up this note which was there all night.

The language of the note clearly tells that the night shift manager was frustrated with his job as he has clearly written that he hates it.

Soon, a discussion started on the micro-blogging site Twitter which was all about the pressure and problems faced by employees of the hospitality industry, especially in the times of the coronavirus pandemic. While some narrated their own stories, several others gave their opinion on this matter. Check out some of the selected reactions:

Girl Roasts Mom’s Friend Who Taunted Her For Putting On Weight, Twitter Is Loving Her Style

In the modern day world, people are very much conscious of not only their appearances but also the looks of others and there are many who don’t hesitate in making comments on other person’s appearance even without thinking that he/she may not like it or may get hurt because of their remarks. While skinny people have to face comments because of their less weight, many people in the world are fat-shamed because of being over-weight.

In simple words, whatever the case may be, there will be some people who will say something or other about your appearance so what you can do is to either ignore them or give them a perfect kickass response just like this girl who faced a comment from her mother’s friend about her weight.

Recently, a Twitter user whose id is @gemmniqua took the micro-blogging site and narrated the incident which happened with her. She told that as she walked into her house, her mother’s friend told that she put on some weight.

The girl was in no mood to remain mum and she gave a sassy reply by telling her aunt that she (girl) is also feeling the same for her (aunt). This response was quite a shocker not just for the aunt but her mother was also left in a state of shock while the girl’s father tried to avoid the aunt by showing that he is busy.

@gemmniqua tweeted, “I walked into the house and my mum’s friend said I put on weight. I replied wow, I was thinking the same about you. My dad was bussing up and my mum was in utter shock.”

In another tweet, she writes the moral of the incident as she says that if you are bad, be bad everywhere. She tweeted, “Moral of the story is if you’re a bad gal be bad everywhere. I’m bad AFFFFFF”

The Twitter users also reacted soon and here are some of the selected tweets:

Nobody needs to remind the other person that he is over-weight or under-weight because everyone is aware of what is happening with him and this girl did give an epic reply to the unwanted comment. What do you say?
