Viral Video Of Car Getting Drowned In Sinkhole In Mumbai Floods Twitter With Hilarious Memes

The monsoon has reached Mumbai and like every year, the situation in the financial capital of the country is pathetic once again as the roads have got flooded just after the first rain and things seem to deteriorate further as the monsoon progresses.

For many years, we have been hearing that people fell in the main holes of the road as they were not able to see them due to water-logging but recently a weird incident came into light as a whole car got drowned in the water-filled hole. The video of the incident was shot by an eye-witness and it is going viral on the social media networks.

Here is the video:

The incident took place in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar and as per the traffic police, there used to be a well over there which was covered by the concrete slabs and the space was being used by people for parking cars.

Due to heavy rains, the land got subsided and the car got drowned into water but luckily no person has been reported as injured.

The video went viral instantly and it also gave enough fodder to meme makers for displaying their creativity as a result of which the micro-blogging site Twitter soon got flooded with memes and jokes. While some comparing it with Parle-G’s dip in tea, few others are questioning as to why the person who made the video did nothing to get help for the car.

Some reports have suggested that the car belongs to a 67 years old Dr. Kiran Doshi and the video has also been shot by him. The car has been taken out of the well now as the BMC officials first pumped the water out of the well and after locating the car, it was pulled out using crane.

Hopefully, BMC will ensure that any incident of this type does not take place again in Mumbai again.

Sonu Nigam Reacts To Reality Show Controversy & Emotional Angle Makers Use To Attract Audience

There is no denying the fact that the reality shows are here to stay on the Indian television for a long time as they are getting good viewership which means high TRPs and the makers are also leaving no stone unturned in making these reality shows more entertaining for their viewers. The singing or dance reality shows of today are also filled with the emotional stories of the contestants which narrate the struggles faced by the contestant in his/her life in order to connect with the audiences in a better manner or rather we should for gaining sympathy.

Some time ago, the first Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant slammed the recent season of the show for focusing more on the emotional stories of the contestants instead of their singing talent. Now the Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam who has worked as the judge in singing shows has reacted on this matter. He says that such stories are definitely bringing good results for the show otherwise the makers would have not continued with them in the first place.

Sonu Nigam adds that somewhere deep in his heart, he knows that these stories which are one of the tools of marketing are clearly working in the show’s favor and the audiences are also not stupid as they completely understand it but they seem to like it as well. Sonu Nigam praises the contestants as he says that they are really talented; in fact he calls them dhurandhars.

Sonu Nigam further says that the meaning of entertainment is different for each person. He went on to say that recently he watched a Korean movie which he liked a lot as it was something similar to his own story but someone else might not like it. He also adds that he is no one to comment on the music reality shows as they are doing well and people like them plus the singers are also pretty good.

Talking about the veteran Bollywood singer Amit Kumar (son of legendary singer Kishore Kumar) and the controversy related to Indian Idol’s Kishore Kumar tribute episode, Sonu Nigam says that Amit Kumar is a very senior person and he is a simple and honest man who is maintaining a dignified silence but people are trying to take undue advantage of his silence.

Amit Kumar attended the Kishore Kumar tribute episode as a guest and after people slammed the episode online, Amit Kumar made it clear that he was praising each contestant because he was just doing what he was asked to do by the Indian Idol’s team. Later on, the host of the show Aditya Narayan tried to take a dig at the veteran singer Amit Kumar and some other people from the industry also criticized him.

What do you think of the emotional angle used in the reality shows by the makers? Let us know your views in this regard.

Michael Vaughan Wishes New Zealand Defeats India & Wins WTC Final, Get Trolled By Wasim Jaffer

The top two teams of the cricket world, India and New Zealand will soon face each other in the finals of the World Test Championship which will be played at Southampton beginning from June 18. The former cricketers and cricket analysts are giving their opinion as to which team has more chances of winning the finals and majority of them feel that New Zealand has a better probability of winning as it has already played two test matches against England and has won the series by 1-0 which implies the fact that NZ has a good idea of the English conditions.

The former England cricketer Michael Vaughan is known for speaking against the Indian cricket team and recently he has made a tweet in which he says that New Zealand is a high class team. He also hopes to see India getting defeated by the Kiwis in the finals of the WTC.

Michael Vaughan’s tweet read, “NZ are a high class team.. Read the situation with the Bat in hand, skilful with the ball & catch brilliantly.. Really fancy them to beat India next week.. #ENGvNZ”

The tweet was soon noticed by the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer who had already trolled Vaughan many times in the past and he didn’t miss the opportunity this time as well. Wasim Jaffer is known for posting funny memes and he mocks the former England skipper by posting a famous meme from the Bollywood movie “Welcome”.

The tagline of the meme is, “Tera kaam ho gaya tu ja (Your work got finished, you can go now)” and Jaffer has shared it with the caption, “#WTCFinals”

See the tweet made by Wasim Jaffer:

As far as the two match test series between England and New Zealand is concerned, the first test match was drawn because of rain and the Kiwis won the second test match as well as the series. In the second test match, England batted first after winning the toss and posted a decent total of 303 on the score board. In reply, the New Zealand team made 388 runs in their first innings and took the important lead of 85 runs but the second innings of the England team was no less than a nightmare for the hosts as they managed only 122 runs. The Kiwis achieved the target of 38 runs after losing 2 wickets and won the test match. While Matt Henry of New Zealand was adjudged as the player of the match for his superb bowling performance, the England cricketer Rory Joseph Burns was given the player of the series award.

Will the Indian team be able to win the WTC finals? What do you think? Let us know your opinion.

Baba Ka Dhaba Owner Takes U-Turn, Apologizes To YouTuber For Accusing Him Of Theft, See Video

We have always maintained that the Internet is a great place to be as here a person can increase his knowledge, get entertained, make new friends, share whatever he wants with the world and so on but it is also true that this is also a great tool for helping the needy people. What makes the Internet and the social media networks stand apart from other medium is their immense reach among people. The “Baba ka Dhaba” episode is one of the best cases which has displayed power of the Internet but unfortunately, it led to controversies and set up a bad precedent.

Let us refresh your memories a little – in 2020, the Indian government had to impose lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and it affected all and sundry in an adverse manner, especially the weaker section of the society. After the unlock process started, a YouTuber Gaurav Wasan shot a video of an elderly couple who ran a road side small eatery known as “Baba ka Dhaba” in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, and were very upset because of the low business. The video soon went viral and while some people tried to help them by going at the dhaba and eating over there, there were also some people who helped the couple financially as they used to live in different cities.

Baba ka Dhaba’s owner Kanta Prasad became very famous shortly and people were also happy seeing his situation changing for better but soon he was in the center of a controversy as he filed a complaint against Gaurav Wasan and alleged that Wasan was involved in misappropriation of funds which were sent by people for helping him and his wife. Kanta Prasad accused Gaurav Wasan of mischief, cheating, criminal conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.

However now after 7-8 months, the Baba ka Dhaba owner has put an end to the controversy by apologizing to Gaurav Wasan in a video which is going on viral on social media. In the video, Kanta Prasad is heard saying that Gaurav Wasan was not a thief and he never called him thief as well.

According to Kanta Prasad, the only mistake which he made was that he said he called Gaurav Wasan but in reality, Wasan came on his own and for that, he apologized to everyone.

Sehwag Reacts To Shakib Al Hasan Kicking Stumps In Anger During DPL In His Own Style

Cricket used to be a gentlemen’s game once upon a time but the scenario has completely changed in the present times as sledging, abusing, etc. have become a part of the game and if there is one team which is ruining the reputation of cricket in the best possible manner, it has to be the Bangladeshi cricket team and its cricketers.

The Dhaka Premier League is going on in Dhaka and during a match, the senior Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan lost his cool and behaved pretty badly not just once but twice and what’s more disturbing is that his actions prove that he has no respect left either for the game or for the umpires.

When an lbw appeal was rejected by the umpire, Shakib Al Hasan not only kicked the stumps but also had a heated discussion with the umpire. If this was not enough, he behaved rudely and uprooted the stumps when the umpires stopped the game due to rains. It is also being said that Shakib Al Hasan also behaved poorly with the opposition team officials and Khaled Mahmud Sujon, the former skipper of the Bangladesh cricket team. It all happened in the match which was played between Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club.

Shakib Al Hasan who is the skipper of Mohammedan Sporting Club has apologized for his actions in a Facebook post in which he wrote that he apologizes to teams, management, officials and the members of the organizing committee for the human error that was made and he hopes that he won’t be repeating such mistakes in the future.

However, 34 years old Shakib who is being touted as one of the greatest all-rounders of his generation by his fans has been banned for four matches because of his arrogant on-field behaviour.

The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has also expressed his unhappiness over the incident but he has expressed it in his own style. Viru has posted an old photo in which Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is seen holding ears of Shakib Al Hasan.

The Bangladeshi cricketer has certainly put up a very bad example in front of the youngsters of his own country who must be following him and hoping to be a successful cricketer like him.
