After Forced Marriage, Girl Left Husband & Eloped With Lover, Married Him In Front Of Train Toilet

Marriage is one of the most important events of a person’s life and one of the happiest as well but there is no denying the fact that no bride or groom can be happy if they are forced to get married. The situation is more problematic if the bride or groom is already in love or in a relationship with someone else but their family members get them married with a different person forcefully.

Representational Image

Something of this sort happened with Anu Kumari, a girl from Sultanganj, Bihar. Anu was in a relationship with Ashu Kumar for quite a good number of years but when her family members came to know about it, they stopped her from even going out of the house. Two months ago, Anu’s family members got her married to a person who hailed from Kiranpur village without her will.

Though Anu was not able to protest initially, she gathered courage soon and made it clear to everyone that she would not be living with her husband anymore. At last, one day that happened which Anu and Ashu were dreaming for long! Anu got the chance to run away with the love of her life, she met Ashu at the railway station of Sultanganj and they boarded the train to Bengaluru.

The couple also got married at that time despite the fact that it was certainly not a perfect place to tie the knot. Anu and Ashu started the new phase of their lives by tying the knot in front of the toilet of the train in which they were travelling. Ashu applied sindoor on the forehead of Anu and they both took vows of wedding over there.

Such situation could have been avoided if the family members of Anu did not force her to get married to someone else and would have shown some empathy at that moment.

Have you also witnessed any such incident? If yes, do share with us.

Meerut University To Include Gilli Danda & Kancha In Course To Revive India’s Traditional Games

The kids of today have many options when it comes to playing indoor games in comparison to the kids of 90s. While the 90s kids used to play chess, carrom, monopoly, ludo and many others, the kids of today also have the options of video games, playstations, Xbox consoles, etc. However when it comes to outdoor games, the present generation is mostly inclined towards cricket, football, etc. and they may not be having the knowledge of outdoor games such as gilli danda, marbles (kanche), stapoo and so on.

There is good news for the lovers of the old games as the Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) has decided to take the present generation back to their roots in view of the fact that the games – gilli danda, marbles and stapoo will be made a part of the syllabus of the course Bachelors in Physical Education. This addition will be made in the next academic session as CCSU is coming up with a new subject, “The Traditional Games of India” which is being done in order to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The Assistant Professor at CCSU’s Physical Education Department, K. K. Pandey stated that with this new development, the old games which were loved by all of us in our childhood would get recognition in today’s modern world as well. He also adds that the PTIs (physical training instructors) who will complete their education at CCSU will be fully prepared to teach these sports to their students.

He also talks about the game kai danda which is pretty famous in western Uttar Pradesh and is known as aam dali in Madhya Pradesh. In this game, a kid climbs on the mango tree while the other one chases him. According to K. K. Pandey, games likes aam dali increases the strength of the muscles while a game like marbles can play an important role in increasing the concentration of kids.

What is your take on this new initiative by the university? Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

Manoj Bajpayee is certainly one of the finest actors of the Indian film industry and presently, he is getting a lot of praises for his role in the web series The Family Man 2 in which he is playing the character of an intelligence agent. Though Manoj Bajpayee is quite successful, he has also faced tough times in his life and career and there came a time when he had no work and he was ignored by a journalist at an event.

Recently, the “Shool” actor gave an interview in which he narrated the unpleasant incident and also told how bad he felt at that time. Manoj said that he was going through a tough phase in which not only the offers for work but also the journalists got vanished.

He went on to say that at an event when he was getting himself ready to talk to a journalist, the latter just ignored Manoj and told his cameraman to switch off the camera. Manoj Bajpayee said that for five seconds, it hit him hard but then he made himself understand that he was no more a content for the journalist as he was going through bad time. Manoj further added that though he moved on, he always remembers that incident as it made him understand that we should also be ready to accept failure just like we are ready to accept the success.

After narrating the incident, Manoj Bajpayee also asks the interviewer not to do such thing with anyone what that journalist did with him as it really feels bad (Aisa please mat karna kisi ke saath, bhaiya, bohot bura lagta hai).

Well, it is certainly a great lesson for all of us and that journalist must also have regretted his decision of ignoring Manoj Bajpayee after seeing his success today. What do you say?

Ashwin Tweets Pic With Pujara & Asks To Guess Their Conversation. Wasim Jaffer’s Reply Is Epic

The Indian cricket team is getting ready to face New Zealand in the finals of the World Test Championship which will be played at Ageas Bowl in Southampton beginning from June 18. Team India has completed their 5-day quarantine period and now they are sweating it out in the net sessions and practice matches in order to get adjusted to the conditions.

Some Indian cricketers are also posting photos and videos on the social media networks so that their fans can get an insight of the manner in which the players are utilizing their time and recently, the Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin shared a photo of him in which he is seen busy in conversation with the Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. While sharing the image, Ashwin also asked his followers to guess what Cheteshwar Pujara is telling him and soon Twitterati started making comments but the funniest one came from Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian batsman and the present coach of IPL team Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab).

R Ashwin tweeted, “Prizes for guessing what @cheteshwar1 is telling me here!” with laughing emojis.

Wasim Jaffer has a reputation of making funny tweets and reactions and this time again, he made everyone laugh but he also brought back the bad memories of 2016 World Cup T20 and 2019 WC. In both the tournaments, the Indian cricket team was the favourites to win and they played superbly until they got eliminated after getting defeated in the semi-finals. In 2019 World Cup semi-final, it was New Zealand which defeated India and went on to play against England in the finals.

In his tweet, Wasim Jaffer writes that Pujara is telling Ashwin he will take revenge of the 2016 T20 WC and 2019 WC. Jaffer also called Pujara White Walker as he was seen wearing white sweater. His tweet read, “2016 WT20, 2019 WC semi sabka badla lega re tera White Walker, unbowed, unbent, unbroken  #WTCFinal”

Hopefully, the tweet of Wasim Jaffer comes true and India wins the World Test Championship.

As per the report published in a leading daily, in Feb 2010, an 18 years old young girl named Sajitha hailing from Ayalur, Palakkad, went missing and despite all the efforts made to find her, Sajitha’s parents were not able to locate her for 11 long years.  However, now it has been revealed that for the last 11 year, she was living half-a-kilometer away from her parents’ home with Alinchuvattil Rahman, the man whom she loved. What is more surprising is the fact that even Rahman’s parents were not aware of the woman who was living in their house.

Rahman never let anyone else from his family enter the room as he didn’t want them to find out the truth and put up any objection to their relationship.

The couple has been allowed to live together by a local court but the big question is why these two never came out in open and announced their love for each other in front of their parents and family members. What is your opinion in this regard? Share with us.

Someone Made Potato Chips Curry & Biscuit Curry, Twitter Says “Tumhe To Fansi Ki Saza Hogi”

The experimentation in food items has become pretty common nowadays as people have ample time on their hands in view of the fact that many are spending maximum time indoors due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sometimes this experimentation resulted in making some delicious dishes but in most of the cases, it came up with some really weird dishes just like sweet milk maggi, grape pizza, noodle samosa, chocolate momos, etc.

Recently, someone came up with a dish in which crispy potato chips were mixed in the tomato-based gravy and some green chilies were also used for the purpose of garnishing. It is quite certain that the potato chips which are eaten as snacks with cold drinks must be feeling suffocated after getting drowned in the rich curry and it was not liked by the majority of the online users who expressed their views on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The original post was made on Facebook by Kolkata Food Trotters but an angry online user shared it on Twitter demanding 14 yrs of rigorous imprisonment for the person who cooked it and named it Chips Curry.

Here is the tweet:

As soon as the Twitter user shared the photo of Chips Curry, another user came up with one more horrifying post as he shared the photo of another dish called Biscuit Curry and as the name suggests, biscuits are mixed in the curry instead of chips in this.

Take a look:

Soon Twitterati started expressing their anguish over such dishes because they felt that the food is vandalized in such items.
