Man Passes His Scooter Under A Truck To Escape Traffic Jam, Video Goes Viral

It is certainly true that nobody likes to wait, especially in the traffic jams on the road and we Indians are known for finding out new methods for getting out of the traffic. It has been seen that people are so impatient that they don’t want to wait even for few minutes at the railway crossings and try to cross it even when they are with two-wheelers.

A video is going viral in which a person is seen walking from under the truck with his vehicle. A truck was parked on the road causing problem for the passers-by and pedestrians started walking from under the truck in order to save them from the unnecessary wait.

When this two-wheeler rider saw pedestrians walking from under the truck, he also decided to pull the stunt. The rider got down from his vehicle, kneeled down a little in order to adjust himself as per the height of the truck and went to the other side with his two-wheeler. After watching him, many other two-wheeler riders were also seen waiting to repeat the act and get away from there.

“I Did Dhoom, Phir Hera Pheri, Hungama, Golmaal & I Had Role Of Furniture In All,” Says Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen, the Bengali beauty who sizzled on the big screen in 2000s, was missed by her fans when she decided to retire early but recently she talked about the choices that she made and also expressed her regret for not struggling enough.

Rimi Sen has worked as a child artist before getting the chance to appear as the lead actress in films. She acted in not only Hindi flicks but Bengali and Telugu movies as well and “Hungama” which got released in 2003 was her Bollywood debut movie. She worked in some big projects, such as “Dhoom”, “Garam Masala”, “Phir Hera Pheri”, “Golmaal: Fun Unlimited”, etc. but she soon retired and bid goodbye to the industry.

In an interview, Rimi has stated that she is not one of those who always want to be in limelight; in fact she is a simple person who has no wish of being in front of the camera. She also revealed that even in her school days, she was like a backbencher, adding that she gets uncomfortable if she gets attention.

Talking about the old days, she said that she wasn’t a mature person and she chose to go with the flow. She said that money was the only thing for which she was there in the industry and as she was not even a graduate, getting another job wouldn’t have been possible for her.

On the matter of working with the A-listers of the industry, Rimi Sen said that she wasn’t even worthy of what she got as she worked in some music videos before getting the big chance of working with Aamir Khan in an advertisement and then made her debut with “Hungama”. Rimi further said that most of the movies that she got were comedy such as “Dhoom”, “Phir Hera Pheri”, “Hungama” and “Golmaal” and added that she was just like furniture in them.  Rimi said that in those days, the film industry was dominated by males, not like the present times in which the content is the king.

Talking more about her career, Rimi stated that she also worked in movies like “Shagird” and “Johnny Gaddaar” but they bombed at box-office which further discouraged her. However now she feels that if she had struggled for 3-4 years more, things would have been different. As per her, her mistake was that she didn’t wait and refused to struggle but now she feels that she should have worked with other directors which must have helped her in getting successful. The “Baghban” actress further expresses her regret saying that now when she watches her movies after 10 years, she feels like she has achieved nothing.

She also opened up on how the film industry has changed over time and said that in those days when an actress used to cross 33 years of age, her career used to get over and she was restricted to only side-roles. She thought that the same would happen with her and she was not able to foresee the changes that have taken place now as actresses are getting chance to play some powerful roles, for example, Vidya Balan in “Kahaani”, Shefali Shah in “Delhi Crime”, etc. Rimi added that in her times, there used to be no script as director used to say that script was inside his mind.

Rimi Sen also took part in one of the most controversial reality shows of Indian television Bigg Boss in the year 2015. However, she used to think of it as a useless show and she signed it just for the sake of money as she was getting paid well. She added that she used to believe that in this show, people just shout and drink coffee and it is a sort of paid holiday but when she entered the show, she learnt that the makers play with the minds of the contestants in a big manner which is not shown on TV. What make the contestants lose their minds are the food restrictions, tasks which they have to perform in late hours and lots of other things. She said that she took Bigg Boss as a rehab for herself in which she used to do two things – wash utensils and meditate.

While concluding when she was asked what advice she would like to give to her younger self, she said that she would certainly advice to have some patience, struggle more and fight back. She added that she would tell her younger self to deal with people in a more effective manner as she used to be so honest that many producers avoided calling her for interview. In the end, she said that she is still honest but a little better now.

Man Almost Got Married To The Wrong Bride After Entering Wrong Venue, Thanks To Google Maps

Google Maps has become an important part of our lives as it not only helps us in finding new and unknown places but also guide us about the route which we should take in order to avoid traffic jams and reach our destination in less time. However, Google Maps should be used only for taking help and depending on it blindly can prove to be risky as a groom in Indonesia experienced after he reached the wrong wedding venue.

As per the reports, two ceremonies (a wedding and an engagement) were taking place in a village on the same day and same time and the groom entered the wrong venue because of Google Maps. The groom and his relatives reached the venue and both the sides even started exchanging gifts with each other until one of them realised that they were not at the right place.

27 years old Ulfa, the girl who was getting engaged on that day, stated that her family welcomed the guest and exchange of the gifts also started. At that time, Ulfa was getting her makeup done so she was not aware of the fact that a wrong groom and his relatives had entered the venue. Ulfa’s fiancé and his group were late for the ceremony as they stopped mid-way in order to find restroom. Ulfa said that she was quite shocked after seeing the wrong groom and her relatives as she knew none of them.

The group that mistakenly entered Ulfa’s ceremony apologised after they realised their mistake and Ulfa’s family also helped them in finding their venue.

This is certainly a big lesson for everyone; take help from technology but don’t depend on it blindly.

Prachi Desai Opens Up About Marriage, Says “Whoever The Guy Is For Me, He Better Be Prepared”

Many Bollywood actors have started their acting journey from television and one of them is the beautiful and talented actress Prachi Desai who became a household name after she played the lead role in ZEE TV’s sitcom Kasamh Se which aired on television from 2006 till 2009. Prachi made her Bollywood debut with Farhan Akhtar starrer “Rock On” in 2008 and since then, she has acted in few movies and has done a couple of item songs as well. Recently, the “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” actress gave an interview in which she talked about many things including her marriage. Prachi states that she loves her independence a lot and she doesn’t want to lose it for marriage.

According to her, she has been brought up in such a manner by her parents that she doesn’t consider marriage as a safety option or something that she will do if things don’t go as planned on the work front. She says that she may have been married many times on the screen but as of now, she is in no mood to lose her independence and she will think of marriage after few years only if she finds someone perfect. She also states that she likes to live on her terms so it will be better if the guy is prepared for that.

Talking about her parents, Prachi says that they have no problem whatsoever with her views and they not only give her space but also respect it. She also reveals that her parents have never talked about looking for a guy for her, adding that she finds it very awkward when her friends tell her that their parents are always forcing them to get married as this is something her parents never do.

How To Cope With Stress At Work

Everyone who has ever had a job has, at some stage or another, felt the pressure of stress at work. All jobs have some stressful parts, even if you really love what you do. In the short term, you might experience some pressure to meet a deadline or to fulfil a challenging task. However, when work stress becomes chronic, it can easily become overwhelming, which is very harmful to both physical and emotional health.

You can’t always avoid the tensions that happen at work, and there’s only so far that keeping sensory toys like Pop its on your desk can go, although they can help. You can take some steps to better manage stress at work.

Try to develop healthy responses. Instead of fighting stress with fast food or alcohol, try to make a healthier choice when your stress levels are rising. Exercise is an excellent stress-buster. Yoga is one of the best choices but any physical activity can help. Make time for hobbies and favourite activities, whether that’s reading, cycling, going to gigs or playing board games with the family. It’s also important to get enough good-quality sleep. You can build some better sleep habits by limiting your caffeine intake later in the day and cutting back on activities that stimulate the brain, like using a television or computer, at night. 

Establish clear boundaries. In today’s digital working world, it can be very easy to feel under pressure to be available 24 hours a day. Establish some clear work-life boundaries for yourself. This could be not checking your work email from home in the evening, or not answering the phone during a family dinner. People will have different preferences when it comes to how they blend their work and home lives, but boundaries between the two can reduce the potential for work-life conflict and the stress that can cause. 

Take time to recharge. To avoid chronic stress and becoming burned out, you need to replenish and return to your pre-stress level of functioning. Usually, this requires you to switch off from work, where you have periods of time when you don’t engage in work-related activities or think about work. You need to disconnect occasionally in a way that fits your needs and preferences. Don’t let your vacations days go to waste. Take time off to relax and unwind, so you can return to work feeling refreshed and ready to perform at your best. When you can’t take time off, recharge by turning off your phone on focusing on something outside of work for a while. 

Learn how to relax. Techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness (where you actively observe your experiences and thoughts without judging them) can help to reduce stress. Take a few minutes every day to focus on a simple activity like walking, breathing, or eating a meal. The skill of being able to focus with purpose on an activity without distraction will get stronger as you practice, and you will find that you can use this skill in many different areas of your life. 

Talk to your supervisor. Employee health has been linked to productivity at work, so your boss should want to create a work environment that promotes well-being. Start by having an open conversation with your supervisor. You don’t want to lay out a list of complaints, but instead, try to come up with an effective plan for managing the stressors that you have identified, so you can perform at your best at work. While some parts of this plan might be designed to help you to improve your skills in areas like time management, other parts might mean finding employer-sponsored wellness resources that you can make use of, your employer clarifying what’s expected of you, getting some resources or support from colleagues, enriching your job to include more meaningful or challenging tasks, or making some changes to your physical workspace to make it more comfortable. 

Get some more help. It can be tough to accept help, but if you can, letting trusted friends and family help you can improve your ability to manage stress. Your employer might also have stress management resources available through an employee assistance program, including online information, counselling, and referral to mental health professionals, if you need this. If you continue to feel overwhelmed at work by stress, you might find it helpful to talk to a psychologist, who can help you to better manage stress and change any unhealthy behaviour.
