What If You Don’t Want To Come Home From Traveling?

When you are traveling, you might find that you end up falling in love with a location. Here are some of the steps that you should consider if this happens.

Find Short Term Work

First, if you want to stay in a country that you’re visiting then you do need to think about your finances. You probably haven’t taken enough money with you to cover costs long term. This means that you will need to begin by looking for short-term work. You have two main options here. Either you can seek out online jobs like writing. Or, you can explore seasonal jobs that are available in a specific location. Make sure to check whether your visa permits you to work before you do this.

Explore Your Legal Options

If you are interested in staying in a country for longer than you originally anticipated and beyond your current visa, then you need to explore your legal options. Yes, you do have some cards to play here and the right path will depend on your situation. For instance, you might be entitled to claim an indefinite leave to remain. The best way to handle this is to speak to a lawyer. They will assess your situation and ensure that you are able to take the right steps to secure your position.

Look At Where You Can Stay

Next, you need to think about exploring where you can stay while you are in the new country. It’s likely that it won’t be feasible or even affordable to continue to stay in hotels or similar accommodation. Instead, you’ll need to look for something more long-term. The best option here would be renting a property. Remember, you need to choose your property carefully. It’s quite common for foreigners to be taken advantage of and end up with low-quality properties because estate agents think they don’t know any better.

Find Long Term Work

Once you have explored the options that you have legally and discovered a place to stay, then you can think about looking for long-term work. This could include working for a company or it might mean that you operate independently. Be aware that if you have the security of a permanent position in a business, then your future in a company will always be more secure. The reason for this is that you will have an employer on your side. You might also want to think about building up your skills to ensure that you are less disposable.

Manage Things At Home

Finally, if you are planning to stay away while traveling, then you do need to make sure that you are managing things at home. For instance, it’s possible that you already own property in your home country. If that’s the case, then you need to think about whether you are going to sell the home or rent it out. The choice is entirely up to you here but be aware that if you rent it out then you are going to take on all the responsibilities of a landlord.

Should You Go For A 5G Phone Or Should You Still Wait?

In early 2020, before the fear of the COVID-19 virus gripped the world, the Indian smartphone industry became the breeding ground for intense competition between smartphone brands. Realme eventually won the bragging rights when it released the first 5G-enabled smartphone in the country, Realme X50 Pro 5G. However, other brands soon caught up, and the Indian consumers believed that there would be an intense tussle between smartphone OEMs for the rest of the year. However, all that enthusiasm and zest fizzled out as reality set in, and the Coronavirus pandemic forced businesses and companies to shut shop for a while.

Things got back on track during the third quarter of 2020, as smartphone brands shipped millions of units to the technology-starved user base. Most of the phones that were sold were 5G-enabled, and today, almost all the new smartphone devices are 5G-enabled. However, the reality is that we are no more closer to rolling out 5G networks than we were towards the end of 2020.

This begs the question: If you are thinking about buying a new device, should you purchase one that is 5G-enabled? Or should you not spend the extra few thousand rupees, and buy a 4G mobile phone instead? We give you the pros and cons of purchasing a 5G-enabled smartphone in 2021.

Pros:

Better features

5G mobiles inherently come with better features and latest technology. Given the fact that 5G phones require the latest chipsets, these phones are faster with fast base clock speeds, and come with impressive features and specifications. If you want a smartphone that can play graphically-intensive games, or is better equipped to handle intensive tasks, then you have to purchase a 5G-enabled smartphone.

Decreasing prices

When brands started pushing out 5G-enabled devices, they were expensive. This also led many to believe that 5G-enabled phones would be costly, which made them a luxury. Today, however, you get 5G-enabled devices for less than Rs. 25,000! For instance, OnePlus Nord, arguably the best mobile under 30,000 INR is 5G-enabled, while brands are rumoured to be working on 5G-enabled devices that cost as low as Rs. 15,000.

Future-proofing phones

As Indians, we are wary of what the future might entail, and purchasing a 5G-enabled phone right now would mean you won’t have to splurge the cash again for 18 – 24 months. This way, you can future-proof your smartphone, and won’t have to worry about buying a new 5G smartphone when the 5G rollout happens in the country.

Cons:

Practically same as 4G mobile phones

If you put the latest 4G handset and a 5G-enabled smartphone next to each other, you might not even be able to differentiate between the two. 5G smartphones are expected to revolutionize the way we work and live, but until they serve their purpose, they aren’t very different from a 4G smartphone.

 Still relatively more expensive

While it is true that the cost of 5G phones in India has been on the decline, they are still relatively more expensive than 4G smartphones. Thus, you will have to weigh the pros and cons before you make a purchasing decision. If you have additional Rs. 5,000 to spend on a smartphone, you can purchase a 5G-enabled device. However, if you have budget constraints, purchasing a 5G smartphone might not make much sense right now.

No clarity surrounding 5G rollout

Arguably the most important point against purchasing a 5G smartphone right away is the fact that there is still no clarity regarding the 5G network rollout in the country. Consumers in particular are still in the dark about the 5G spectrum auction, and whether the infrastructure is being put in place in order to rollout with 5G network. While it was initially predicted that consumers might get to experience the blazing fast speeds of 5G connectivity either by the end of 2021, or at the start of 2022, we might still be quite a long way away from experiencing 5G connectivity.

Looking at the pros and cons, you can make a purchasing decision. If you have some leeway when it comes to the amount you can spend, then you can purchase a 5G smartphone. Otherwise, you would be better off getting a 4G mobile instead. That said, you can avail the Bajaj Finserv EMI Network Card, and not let your budget get in the way. Use the EMI Network Card to purchase your favourite smartphone model, and repay the cost in convenient monthly instalments.

Ashwin Tries To Pull Ajinkya Rahane’s Leg Over His Instagram Post, Jinx Has An Adorable Reply

The biggest extravaganza of cricket, i.e., Indian Premier League 2021 is all set to start from today with Royal Challengers Bangalore and defending champions Mumbai Indians clashing against each other in the first match of the tournament. Delhi Capitals (earlier Delhi Daredevils) will also look forward to end their wait for their first IPL trophy by taking one more step of winning the finals as last time they lost the finals to Mumbai Indians. The Delhi franchise has appointed the young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant as their skipper after Shreyas Iyer suffered a shoulder injury during a match against England. The new skipper will have a great responsibility and he will certainly look towards the senior players to perform well and a lot will also depend on Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of the Indian test team.

Rahane will certainly be hoping to do well in the IPL 2021 as he has been performing in a dismal manner for the last two IPL seasons. In the IPL 2019, Ajinkya Rahane represented Rajasthan Royals but because of his poor show, he was traded to Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020. However, changing teams was also not beneficial for Rahane as he scored only 113 runs in the nine matches that he played and while his strike rate was just 105.60, his average was 14.12 only. The right-handed batsman even faced problems in securing his place in the playing eleven due to his poor form. Delhi Capitals will be playing their first match on Saturday against the three times champions Chennai Super Kings which also had a nightmarish IPL 2020 and it will also look to improve their fortunes in the IPL 2021.

Recently, Ajinkya Rahane took to his Instagram account and posted a throwback photo in which he is seen posing for a photoshoot.

He captioned the image, “Back from the days out of the bubble, when getting ready and posing for pictures was a thing!”

While many fans started making comments and praised the look of the Indian cricketer, his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin took this as an opportunity to have some fun.

He asked Rahane where his million dollar smile is missing and why he is so serious.

Jinx had a quite jovial response to Ashwin as he said that his smile comes when he joins the spinner in bio-bubble.

Ravichandran Ashwin will also play an important role for the Delhi franchise and there is no doubt that if these two senior DC players perform well for their team, DC may certainly win their first IPL trophy this time.

TMKOC Director Has A Hilarious Reply To Fan Who Urges Him To Bring A New Dayaben For The Show

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running shows of the Indian television as its first episode was aired in 2008 and the serial is still running strong in the year 2021. However, fans of TMKOC are badly missing Dayaben, the character which was played by Disha Vakani who has not returned to the sets since 2017 when she took maternity leave.

It was believed that Disha would come back after the birth of her daughter and since then, a lot is being heard on this matter but it is still not clear whether Disha Vakani would return or not. However some time ago, rumours were doing rounds that Disha Vakani quit the show but no official announcement was made by the actress or the makers of the show. It is being said that Disha and her husband are putting some conditions in front of the makers for Disha’s return but the makers are finding it difficult to agree to those conditions.

The show is being directed by Malav Rajda and recently a fan of the show commented on one of his Instagram posts. The fan has asked him to bring new actress for the role of Dayaben as there is no use in waiting for so long. Here is what the fan wrote, “Plz new Daya ko lay aawo sir. Itna wait kar ke bhi koi fayda hoga kay aap hi socho. Bichare fans kabse wait kr rahe h Daya ke liye (Please bring a new Daya on the show sir. What is the benefit of waiting for so long? Poor fans have been waiting for so long).”

Malav Rajda responded soon but instead of giving a straight answer about Dayaben’s character, the director had some fun by giving a hilarious response. Rajda says that if he will make many demands, the makers will replace him with a new director. He adds that he has no authority to take decisions about the actors as he just directs the show and while concluding, he says that whatever happens, it happens for the best.

This is what Rajda said, “@shindepooja91 Mein zyada bolunga toh naya director le aayenge (if I ask for too much, they will get a new director)… It’s not in my hands at all… I just direct the show… Don’t n can’t take decisions regarding actors n lot of other things… But jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai (whatever happens, happens for the best).”

Do you think that the makers should wait for Disha Vakani or find a new actress for the role of Dayaben as soon as possible? Let us know your views.
