The coronavirus pandemic has brought many changes in our lives, such as wearing a mask is a necessity now, practicing social distancing, changes in ways of greeting, avoiding crowded places, etc. In the same manner, the lethal virus has also compelled the International Cricket Council (ICC) to make some rules of playing cricket; for example, now saliva can’t be used for shining the ball.

The bowlers have been using saliva on the ball for taking the benefit for a long time now but now they won’t be able to do it as it may spread coronavirus. The legendary Indian former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made up mind to have some fun as he took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and talked about a problem which the Sri Lankan cricketer Lasith Malinga will face now.

In his tweet, the Little Master posted a photo of Sri Lanka’s T20 skipper in which the latter is seen kissing the ball. Sachin Tendulkar wrote, “A certain someone will have to also change his run up routine with the new @icc rules! What say Mali?”

No cricketing events are taking place at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic and considering the fact that the number of cases in India are increasing at a very high rate, it seems very difficult that BCCI will be thinking of organizing any series or tournament in the near future. However, the Sri Lankan cricket board approached BCCI for the India-Sri Lanka series which was scheduled in Sri Lanka but the Indian board has shown no interest in sending the Indian team as of now. But there are reports as per which both the boards are looking forward to play this series in August.

Cricket is all set to make a comeback in Sri Lanka pretty soon as PDC T10 League is going to start from June 25 and it will be played till June 6.

The sudden departure of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput shocked everyone as he was just 34 years old and nobody expected that he would end his life in this manner. The actor took his own life by hanging at his Bandra residence on 14^th June 2020.

Sushant had a quite short filmy career as he worked in around 12 movies and undoubtedly, “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” was the milestone of his career. Sushant worked pretty hard for this role and he left no stone unturned in getting insights of Dhoni’s life. Not just his, he also took training from the former Indian cricketer Kiran More for 9 months. Sushant also took training from Keshav Banerjee, the childhood coach of Thala, and brought life to the character of Mahi.

During an interview, Neeraj Pandey, the director of “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” told that Dhoni was shattered after he heard the news of Sushant’s departure. Neeraj further added that he also talked to Dhoni’s two friends – Arun Pandey and Mihir Diwakar and they both were also very shocked and sad after hearing about Sushant.

Neeraj further said that Sushant worked hard to get into the skin of the character and even Dhoni was amazed after seeing Sushant’s dedication for the movie.

Aesha shared a post with her son on which an online user made a cheap comment concerning her son Zoravar Dhawan. The netizen wrote, “Zorabar Son, you are black, you will remain black”.

Aesha was in no mood to remain silent and she slammed the user while at the same time taking a dig at those for whom skin colour matters as brown skin is quite common in India.

She wrote, “Amazes me that people are so concerned about skin colour. If a person is brown, black, white or yellow what does it matter? The funny thing to me is that certain people that are Indian have a problem with skin colour when logically and biologically brown skin is very normal in those parts of the world. It’s like you are only denying yourself. And another thing is that the more you deny your reality the more you are suffering. I own myself completely and so do my kids.”

She also made it clear that she and her kids are quite confident of themselves and skin colour doesn’t matter to them.

However, later she deleted this post.

Set in the unchartered territories of Kolkata, the show depicts the intrinsic values associated with the cops and what it takes to unravel the mysteries of serious crimes. Not only that, but the show also touches upon the very much talked about issue of family vs duty.

The basic plot of the show revolves around the murder of a prostitute in a brothel which is shown as a suicide. Parallelly, the police discover some human innards floating in the lake. The reason for such harsh killings is unknown to the police.

Further investigation springs up new surprises and at the very end, all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle come together to make up a very tight and engrossing storyline.

Beyond all this action and suspense, another very impressive yet unnoticed thing about the show is its subtleties and the layers that the characters have.

The performances of the show are also one of a kind with the likes of Kaushik Sen, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, and Sauraseni being as impressive as ever.
