Mahela Jayawardena Has A Funny Response To SL Sports Minister Who Claims 2011 WC Final Was Fixed

The winning shot played by MS Dhoni on the bowling of Nuwan Kulasekara in the finals of 2011 ICC World Cup will always remain fresh in the memories of the Indian cricket lovers. India defeated Sri Lanka in the final at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai and it was after 28 years that India was able to win the World Cup again.

However time and again, some doubts have been raised on the final match and now a Sri Lankan politician has claimed that the 2011 World Cup final match was fixed and the Sri Lankan could have won the match and the trophy.

The name of the politician is Mahindananda Aluthgamage and he was the sports minister at that time. While speaking in an interview, he says that what he is saying is correct and but he won’t be giving further details about it as it may harm the reputation of the country. He further adds that he will also not bring the names of cricketers in debate but there were certainly some groups which were a part of this fixing.

The former Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardena who scored 103 (88) in that match was pretty upset with this statement and took a dig at the politician by asking whether elections are around the corner. He also asked the minister to reveal the names and proof in regard to the statement that he is making.

Sushant’s Sister Apologises For All The Pain He Had To Go Through Alone, Writes A Heartfelt Note

It is definitely a very tough time for the family of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who took his own life by hanging himself at his Bandra residence on 14th June, 2020. Truly speaking, it was very difficult even for the fans to believe that their favorite actor has taken such a drastic step, so it is quite certain that it would have been extremely hard for the family members to come on terms that their boy is not with them in this world.

Sushant is basically from Patna and is survived by his father and four elder sisters. The last rites of the actor were carried out in Mumbai on Monday and few Bollywood celebs also attended the funeral. One sister of Sushant, Shweta Singh Kriti was not able to attend the funeral as she lives in USA but she took the first flight available in order to be with her family in this difficult time. Recently, she made a post on social media in which she paid an emotional tribute to her brother.

In her post, she apologised to him for all the pain that he went through and for not being with him when he needed her. She also asked his fans to forgive everyone and choose love over hate.

“Mera baby, mera Babu mera Bachcha is not physically present with us anymore and it is ok… I know u were in a lot of pain and I know u were a fighter and u were bravely fighting it.  Sorry mera Sona… sorry for all the pain u had to go through…if I could I would hav taken all ur pain and given all my happiness to u.

Your twinkling eyes taught the world how to dream, ur innocent smile revealed the true purity of ur heart.

She has deleted the note from her Facebook page now.

Sushant’s departure has once sparked debate over nepotism and people are holding Karan Johar, Salman Khan, etc. responsible for what Sushant did. This is certainly the time when Bollywood should introspect and ensure that such incident doesn’t get repeated.

Sushant’s Fans Show Anger, Alia Bhatt Lost Maximum Followers, Kangana Gained 1.47 Million

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden departure has left everyone heartbroken and angry also because the young lad was just 34 years old and he could have achieved a lot in his life. With each passing day, we are coming across those personality traits of Sushant Singh Rajput which we didn’t know earlier and it is making us more upset that such a lively person left the world so early.

What is more disturbing is the fact that he ended his own life by hanging from the ceiling of his Bandra apartment. People are upset and wondering as to why he took such a drastic step despite the fact that he gave a big hit “Chhichhore” in 2019. Everybody wants to know what was going wrong in Sushant’s life and who all are responsible for creating such situations for him that he was left with no other option.

Many people are blaming Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and some other filmmakers for his loss as KRK once tweeted that seven big filmmakers and production houses have banned Sushant Singh Rajput and he is left with the option of working in serials and web series only.

Soon people started trolling Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan and others and this resulted in significant loss in the number of followers of these celebs on their Instagram accounts.

For example, Alia Bhatt has lost 444K followers which is the maximum number while Karan Johar has lost 188K and the number of followers lost by Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan is 84K and 50K, respectively.

On the other hand, there were some celebrities whose fan following on the photo-sharing app increased. For instance, 1.47 million more people started following Kangana Ranaut, 291K and 270K is the increase in the number of followers of Kriti Sanon and Shraddha Kapoor, respectively while Rhea Chakraborty gained 212K new followers.

Kangana Ranaut posted a video in which she openly called out the bigwigs responsible for Sushant’s tragic end as they didn’t give him the due that he should have got or deserved. In fact, she even said that it is a planned act of taking life.

On the other hand, many people liked that Rhea, Kriti and Shraddha may have not posted anything on social media but they did paid respect to Sushant at the funeral.

Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the finest young generation Bollywood actors and his fans expected a lot from him but he left all of us heartbroken as he took his own life on 14th June 2020. The “Chhichhore” star was found hanging at his Bandra apartment but no note was recovered from his house. However, it is being said that Sushant was disturbed from the last few weeks and he was also undergoing treatment for depression.

Getting a flying license was one of the dreams of Sushant Singh Rajput and for this purpose, he purchased a Boeing 737fixed base flight simulator which was said to be of around $4 million. He revealed on his social media account that it was one of the 150 wishes that he wanted to fulfill in his lifetime.

Sushant Was A Genius, Cambridge PhD Scholar Recalled When She Asked Him Why He Became An Actor

Sushant Singh Rajput was a Bollywood actor for many of us but those who knew him closely were aware of the fact that he was a multi-talented person who was full of live and enthusiasm. Other than movies, he was pretty interested in physics and astronomy and how knowledgeable he was can be understood by an incident which has been narrated by a Cambridge PhD scholar Namrata Datta.

In a series of tweets, Namrata recalled the incident which happened 2 years ago. Namrata said that she met Sushant at the Paris airport and at that time, she didn’t know that he was a Bollywood actor. She wrote that they both were having drinks alone while celebrating their birthdays as Sushant’s birthday was on 21st Jan while Namrata’s was on 26th Jan. They started talking and then discussed DNA n X-ray crystallography method.

Namrata says that Sushant explained quantum physics in such a wonderful manner that she was sure of the fact that she was talking to a genius and assumed that he was a physicist who was studying in France.

Namrata also told that they talked about the space time continuum and one thing that Sushant wanted to change was to study physics. While Sushant asked Namrata whether he could get scholarships for studying physics, Namrata told that she was going to watch him on the big screen.

Just like everyone else, Namrata is also very upset after hearing the news of Sushant’s departure and she is left with the memories of their conversation which lasted for about 5 hours with 2 glasses of drinks.
