Twitter Gets ‘Aankhon Ka Corona’ After Watching Yuzvendra Chahal’s Hilarious TikTok Video

Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian cricketer, is very active on social media networks and leaves no chance to have fun with his teammates or indulge in hilarious interactions with other sportspersons. He also loves to make videos and post them on TikTok, a video platform. Chahal was supposed to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) which was scheduled to start on March 29 but now it has been postponed till April 15.

Well, Chahal never fails to make headlines and once again, he is in news, not for anything related to cricket but for a TikTok video in which he is seen with his friend Rameet Sandhu.

Cheteshwar Pujara Lashes Out At His Critics Who Target Him For His Slow Batting Approach

Cheteshwar Pujara, the Indian cricketer, is an integral part of the Indian test team as the batsman who bats mostly at no. 3 has given a lot of stability to the Indian batting. The Saurashtra cricketer has played many important innings in his international as well as domestic career but time and again, he gets criticised for his slow batting approach.

Recently, he helped his Saurashtra team in winning the Ranji trophy against Bengal and in this match, he played an innings of 66 runs for which he played 237 balls. After this innings, questions were again raised on his slow batting rate which has irked the right-handed batsman.

During an interview to a leading daily, Pujara has opened up on his batting style. He says that media may be talking about it in a different manner but the team management is supporting him completely. He also makes it clear that he is under no pressure to increase his batting rate by anyone whether it is coach, captain or anyone else.

The 32 years old cricketer says that the team management understands that it is his batting style and they have no problem with his strike-rate. He also states that often he is asked on social media as to why he plays so many balls to score X runs but such questions don’t matter to him and he is not disturbed because of them. As per him, his main aim is to ensure that his team wins all the matches and he is focused on that.

Cheteshwar Pujara adds that he knows he can’t bat like Virender Sehwag or David Warner but he also thinks that there is nothing wrong in taking some time on the crease before starting to score runs. He has played 77 test matches in which he has scored 5840 (18 hundreds) runs at an average of 48.7.

The cricketer also talks about the increasing interest of youngsters in the shorter formats. According to him, playing in the shorter formats is definitely better in monetary terms as the number of matches played with the white ball is certainly on the higher side in comparison to the number of matches played with the red ball.

Pujara further says that there is no problem if youngsters are interested in shorter formats but they should be aware of the fact that real cricket is test cricket and every cricketer is judged on the basis of his performance in the long format.

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak is definitely the biggest enemy of humanity at the moment as it has already infected more than 2,45,000 people all over the world and the number of people who have lost their battle for life against this disease is more than 10,000 worldwide. The coronavirus outbreak has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) and it will definitely take some time for the things to get back to normal.

While it is being said that coronavirus originated from seafood which was getting illegally sold in Wuhan province of China, there are also some reports which say that it is a type of bioweapon which got prepared in a lab. However, the social media networks are also full of claims as per which there are few books and sitcoms that have earlier predicted an outbreak like this.

1. The Eyes of The Darkness by Dean Koontz

The author Dean Koontz talked about a virus named Wuhan-400 in his book The Eyes of Darkness which got released in 1981. As per the author, this virus was a bio-weapon which was created in a lab by the scientists and it was capable of removing a complete city from the world map. As coronavirus has also originated from Wuhan and it also has the same symptoms, people started circulating the excerpts of the book which talked about Wuhan-400.

2. End of Days by Sylvia Browne

Sylvia Browne, the author of End of Days, claims to have psychic abilities and in her book, she has made a prediction as per which a disease that will be like pneumonia but severe in nature and will harm the lungs and bronchial tubes will spread in the world in 2020. She has also written that the disease will disappear as quickly as it arrived but then it will make a comeback after 10 years and then it will vanish completely.

3. Hollywood movie “Contagion”

In 2011, Steven Soderbergh directed movie “Contagion” got released and it was based on a plot which is similar to coronavirus outbreak. In the film, the fictional virus was named as MEV-1 and it got originated in Hong Kong. It was quite lethal as it took lives of almost 20% of people who got infected with it. The flick which starred Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Matt Damon and others also showed how technology can be used to circulate myth and wrong information.

4. The animated show, Simpsons

The fans of animated show Simpsons are claiming that in 1993, the show predicted a pandemic outbreak similar to coronavirus. It was shown in the season 4 “Marge in Chains” episode and the disease was named as “Osaka flu” as it originated from Japan. Simpsons may have correctly predicted that Donald Trump will be the President of USA around 16 years back but this prediction of pandemic is not quite accurate.

The coronavirus has affected the film industry to a great extent as the release of some flicks has been postponed while the shooting of many movies has come to a halt.

Aakash Chopra Got So Impressed With Bowler’s Dribbling Skills That He Compared Him To Ronaldo

Aakash Chopra, the former cricketer turned commentator, is pretty active on social media and he keeps on sharing interesting cricket videos with his followers. Nothing much is happening in the cricketing world due to the coronavirus outbreak but Aakash Chopra is still busy posting videos and recently he shared a video in which a bowler seems to have the characteristics of a good footballer as well.

In the video, it is seen that the batsman defended the ball but the bowler didn’t pick it with his hands; instead he started dribbling with the ball and after showing his talent in football, he kicked it in the air for the wicketkeeper.
