Pak Cricketer Shadab Khan Calls PSL The Best, Gets Trolled In The Most Epic Way

Indian Premier League is one of the biggest sports tournaments of the world as it has already attained a place in the top ten tournaments of the world and there is no denying the fact that its brand value is also huge. The other cricketing tournament which is considered as one of the biggest is the Big Bash League of Australia but Pakistan Super League (PSL) is nowhere near to being called the best league of the world.

Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan, the skipper of PSL team Islamabad United, feels that PSL is the best league as he said that he has played in many leagues but PSL is the best because each team has bowlers who can bowl above 140 km/hr which he hasn’t seen in other leagues.

Well, he is certainly correct in regard to the bowlers as some of the local bowlers are quite talented but calling PSL the best league is definitely not correct because it is far behind to IPL in terms of TRP, audience count, global broadcasting and the most important factor – revenue.

Twitterati didn’t take Shadab’s statement lightly and went on to troll him mercilessly. Here are some of the selected tweets:

The fifth season of PSL will be starting soon and this will be the first time that all the matches will be played in Pakistan only; the venues that have been selected are – Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan. PSL started in 2016 and all the matches in the first two seasons were played in UAE due to security issues. However, in the last two seasons, the semi-finals and finals were played in Pakistan.

What do you think of Shadab Khan’s statement and how do you rate PSL in comparison to IPL?

Sanjay Manjrekar Reacts To Criticism & Hate Comments That He Gets On Social Media

Social media, especially the micro-blogging site Twitter, has become a great platform for netizens to interact and share their opinion on different issues but some people also use it for slamming or criticising others.

Many times, social media users have asked Sanjay Manjrekar to quit commentary but the former Indian cricketer is not affected by his criticism. Recently, he carried out a Question & Answer session on Twitter and one question that caught everybody’s attention was the question regarding the hate that he gets online.

The Twitter user asked, “@sanjaymanjrekar, Sir you have had your fair share of hate tweets. How do you handle it? #asksanjay”.

The answer given by Sanjay Manjrekar was a classy one as he refused to accept it as hate and instead referred to it as unbounded passion of fans for the game because of which he gets not only hate but also excessive love. He also talked about the great business which the Indian cricket does and people like him earn their living.

Sanjay’s tweet read, “I don’t see that as hate at all. It’s the unbounded passion that fans have for the game & it’s players. So, you get your fair share of excessive love & hate too. This passion, don’t forget, also makes Indian cricket a billion dollar industry in which people like me make a living.”

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has a history of getting trolled on Twitter and in 2019, it happened quite a few times. One of the notable incidents was when Sanjay Manjrekar slammed Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and called him a “bits and pieces cricketer”.

This didn’t go well with Jadeja who responded with his cricketing stats, compared it with Manjrekar’s stats and asked him to respect those cricketers who have achieved success in their career. The fans of Ravindra Jadeja also lambasted Manjrekar for his unnecessary comment and he was trolled mercilessly.

On another occasion, Sanjay Manjrekar was criticised for the statement that he made while talking to commentator Harsha Bhogle. After the day-night test match which was played with pink ball between India and Bangladesh at Eden Garden, Kolkata, Harsha wanted to talk to players in order to find out their opinion on the matter of visibility of the pink ball. Manjrekar thought otherwise and told Harsha that those who have played cricket know that the ball is visible. The comment was not taken kindly by the online community as it made them feel that Manjrekar was trying to insult Harsha and he again became an object of trolling.

Well, Sanjay Manjrekar’s take in regard to hate comments shows that he certainly has great and positive attitude! What do you say?

Dhoni Enjoys “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi” With Parthiv & Piyush Inside Toilet In This Viral Video

MS Dhoni is one of the most popular cricketers of our times and what makes him more special is the fact that despite being so rich and famous, he is still a very humble and down-to-Earth person. The former skipper of India is not a part of the Indian squad at the moment and he is making a good use of his time by visiting different places with his family and friends.

Recently, a video went viral in which MS Dhoni was seen enjoying a Bollywood movie song “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi” with his colleagues Piyush Chawla and Parthiv Patel. The beautiful track is from the film “Mr. X In Bombay” which got released in 1964 and it was originally sung by Kishore Kumar. What surprised everyone is that they all were sitting in a toilet while listening to the song.

Here is the video:

MS Dhoni last played for India in the semi-final match of the World Cup 2019. The Indian team lost this match to New Zealand and eventually it was India’s exit from the tournament. Since then, the wicket-keeper batsman has not played for the country and a lot has been said about his return in the International arena but he has chosen to remain mum on this matter. BCCI has also dropped him from the annual contract list as he has not played any cricket match for a long time now.

While some feel that Dhoni should retire now, his fans want to see him back on the field as soon as possible. The head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri once said that Dhoni’s return in team India will depend a lot on his performance in Indian Premier League 2020.

IPL 2020 is going to start in the March end and the first match will be played between the finalists of the last year IPL – Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 29th March 2020.

Dhoni is absolutely unfazed by whatever people are saying about his return and retirement and he is scheduled to start training for IPL from the beginning of March.
