S Sreesanth may have been out of the cricket circuits for quite a long time now but people still talk about him as he was one of the fastest bowlers of his time and quite an aggressive one as well. The Kerala cricketer who made his debut in 2005 against Sri Lanka was one of those players who were constantly in news. It might be either for his brilliant performances or for the controversies that erupted because of his behaviour on the field. Despite getting warned many times, there was no change in Sreesanth’s behaviour.
He was also a part of the Indian squad which won the T20I World Cup in 2007. However, the talented cricketer’s career was cut short due to the IPL spot-fixing scandal which took place in 2013. A lifetime ban was imposed on Sreesanth by the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) but the Supreme Court has reduced it to seven years.
Sreesanth was involved in one more controversy which was called Slapgate. This controversy that took place during the IPL 2008 also involved Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. At that time, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth after a match which was played between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. Sreesanth was a part of Kings XI Punjab at that time while Bhajji used to play for Mumbai Indians.
On 6th February, Sreesanth turned 37 and he was offered birthday wishes by his fans and friends. However, what was noticed by everyone was the birthday wish by Harbhajan Singh who took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy birthday Shenta @sreesanth36 have a good year..”

Sreesanth took a total of 169 wickets in his career in all the formats (53 ODIs, 27 Test Matches and 10 T20Is). Sreesanth has often expressed his desire to play for team India once again but it seems difficult now as the Indian team already has a good pace battery and age is also not on his side.
Indian cricketer KL Rahul is in a tremendous form and has been performing great with bat nowadays. He was also adjudged as the Player of the Series in the recently concluded 5-match T20I series which was played between India and New Zealand and India whitewashed it with 5-0. The young cricketer is often in news for his alleged affair with actress Athiya Shetty but both of them have chosen to remain mum in media on this matter.
Recently during an event, Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty was asked about his daughter’s affair with KL Rahul and in reply, the actor told the journalist to ask this question from Athiya and not from him because he is not in a relationship.
However when Suniel was grilled further by the mediaperson and was asked whether he would accept the relationship, he asked the journalist to first find out whether her dating rumours are true or not and then talk to him.
His reply read, “You come and tell me if it’s true, then we’ll talk about it. You don’t know, how can you ask me?”

Earlier, in an interview to a leading daily, Suniel Shetty said that he has no problem with those whom his children are dating, in fact he and his wife Mana Shetty love them. He also said that the most important thing is to be happy which is certainly being missed by this generation.
Athiya and KL Rahul have been spotted together many times and recently, KL Rahul shared a photo in which he was seen with Athiya using an old-fashioned phone, but the highlight of the photo was the caption which read, “Hello, Devi Prasad….?”.

Aakash said that Sachin Tendulkar asked Virat to take a long step when he plays the drive, similar to the manner in which he is playing now.
As Virat listened to the advice, he was able to keep bat near to his body and he was in full control of the drives that he played. Kohli has also accepted that he talks to Sachin Tendulkar when he is not able to find a solution to a problem.
Talking about the Indian tour of New Zealand, the hosts gave a huge surprise to the visitors after winning the first ODI by achieving a huge target of 348 runs despite the fact that the Indian team whitewashed the 5-match T20I series.

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan are all set for the release of their upcoming movie “Love Aaj Kal” which is directed by Imtiaz Ali. Kapil told how he used to meet his childhood girlfriend without anyone knowing about it and without getting caught.
Kapil also asked both of them about the rumours of their dating each other. Sara Ali Khan said that she is pretty much interested in dating Kartik Aaryan but there is one condition to it. The job of Indian cricket selectors is one of the most difficult jobs available in the country because over the years, the management has worked so hard in developing cricketing talent that selectors always have more choices than the berths in the Indian squad. Mostly, the Indian selectors have to make some difficult decisions for which sometimes they are slammed as well because in India, everybody loves to prove their view correct when it comes to cricket.
The Indian chief selector MSK Prasad will be bidding goodbye to his job soon which he took up in 2015 but he will definitely be known for some really good decisions, such as supporting young cricketers like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, etc. However, there is one decision that was taken by the selection committee under his leadership which created a lot of furor.
We are talking about the decision of not including Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu in the Indian squad for ICC World Cup 2019. Ambati Rayudu was one of those cricketers whose selection in the ODI squad for ICC World Cup 2019 was considered almost final but he was kept on standby. Instead of Rayudu, the team management selected Vijay Shankar but things became uglier when Ambati Rayudu was ignored for Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal even after the Indian team players suffered injuries.
Ambati Rayudu got so upset that he announced his retirement from the cricket, a decision which was taken in haste and he was advised against it by his friends and former cricketers.
However, now the chief selector has opened up on this matter and he says that it was a touch and go matter. As per Prasad, after the Indian team’s tour to Zimbabwe in 2016, the selection committee always felt that Ambati Rayudu should be a part of the test squad and he talked to the cricketer in this regard as well. MSK Prasad stated that he asked Rayudu why he is not giving attention on Test cricket, adding that many people objected the decision when Rayudu was selected for the ODI team because the decision was based on his IPL performances.
Prasad also said that they focused on Rayudu’s fitness in NCA where he was given all the needed help and he showed some good results as well. However, Prasad also accepted that he is also hurt and feels bad for Rayudu.
In MSK Prasad’s tenure, the Indian team has performed brilliantly as recently it whitewashed New Zealand in the 5-match T20I series and became the first ever team to do so. But one thing which must be hurting him is the fact that India has not won any ICC title under his tenure.
