The drought in Maharashtra is worsening by passing days. Everyone is concerned over the depleting water stock in catchment areas especially in drought-affected areas in Marathwada, Maharashtra. The villagers of Mukundwadi, Aurangabad are hit by the draught and they’re struggling walking an extra mile to fetch water.
Chennai is also facing water crisis and they literally need every single drop of water from all around the world. Several cities in India are suffering from water draught. But the ruling government doesn’t seem to care nor they’re providing clean drinking water to the people of the drought-affected cities.
People of Bengaluru are moving out of the city just to avoid the water drought in the city. Well, Bangalore is now also concerned about their water supply rather than their terrific traffic.
As per the report of the World Bank, around 21 cities in India will have zero groundwater level by 2020. The exploitation of water, unplanned construction, mindless destruction of the environment in the name of development and no water management plan on the part of government has resulted in the current situation. The government must take urgent steps to prevent the misuse of water resources.
Large cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Vijayawada, Amravati, Solapur, Shimla is moving towards a chronic water crisis. 54% of India’s groundwater has declined. It’s also said 40% of people might not have drinking water in India by 2030.
Well, is world war 3 going to happen cause of water?
An old couple was thrown out of their own house by their only son and daughter in law. After fighting for 3 years for justice the couple has finally got their house back. For three years Brijesh Soni, 71 and his wife Chamelidevi, 69 lived on the road on the mercy of strangers.
As they had nowhere to go and no money, Brijesh used to spend his entire day at platform number 10 of Borivali station while Chamelidevi sat outside a Shiva temple nearby. Some relatives helped them and gave them shelter but only temporarily.
When asked why don’t they file an FIR, the daughter Seema said that they don’t even have money to eat, how could they bore the expense of court case. “Everyone was advising us to file a case in High Court, but we didn’t even have money to eat, how would we have arranged money for a lawyer?” said Seema.
But the couple left no stone unturned seeking justice and went to various government offices with their daughter. During one of those visits, someone suggested them to contact the collector’s office in Bandra, which can execute the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
The first time Lok Sabha attendee Mahua Moitra an MP from TMC slams the ruling party, accusing them of being fascists. The legislator from Krishnanagar in West Bengal had defeated the BJP candidate Kalyan Chaubey by an amazing set of numbers – 63,000 votes in the current general elections. She had well prepared for her maiden speech and made her point even with distractions from the benches of the ruling party. She took on the government and presented her opinion on each point.
The fiery speech of Mahua Moitra stole the limelight on June 25, the second day of Motion of Thanks. Her opposing speech filled with facts and logics stirred disturbances in the House. She attacked the Modi-led-government on a host of issues and said that the early signs of fascism were visible in the now government.
Mahua Moitra spoke about dissent, religious freedom and media control. She even mentioned that the constitution that each one has “sworn to protect” is now “under threat today”.
She even took to NaMo’s line ‘Achche din aa rahe hain’ and pointed out that that the ruling party is being just being superficial and missing out on the signs of the nation being torn apart. She also adds that each point from the poster that was put up in the lobby of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2017 on Fascism has a strong presence in the current Indian political scenario. She doesn’t back out from questioning the ruling party on each point and proves her notion with evidence. It’s been a long time the Indian Lok Sabha house witnessed such a strong voice.
Here’s the video of the speech in Lok Sabha:
Mahua Moitra speaks on Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address…. U Nailed it …
News channel debate show is quite popular in India as well as in other countries. Leaders from different political parties, coming together to discuss an issue and turning the debate into quarreling is a common site on news channels. Everybody is invited to talk but no one lets the other to speak. But very rarely this verbal fight becomes physical. Same happened during a live television debate show on a Pakistani news channel.
A simple TV debate turned into a brawl when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party leader Dr. Masroor Ali Sial punched a senior journalist on the penal. The footage from the show named “News Line with Aftab Mugheri” went quickly viral. In the video, it is very clear that the discussion turned to scuffle within seconds. PTI Leader warned journalist and the president of Karachi Press Club, Imtiaz Khan Farhan that he won’t tolerate any insult. To which Khan replied in an angry tone and before anyone could understand what’s happening Sial punched Khan.

Difference of opinion isn't a crime. Say what you want to say and how you want to say it but physical attack shouldn't be an option. PTI should take serious action. https://t.co/kLqJ6w8BdT
Within 24 hours PTI should unconditionally condemn, take action & bring amicable closure to the issue. There should be no excuses or delay. @PTIofficialhttps://t.co/KwuGnb8uEX
Power corrupts. Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI must be angry after watching this. If he is not, people like Masroor Ali Siyal will keep attacking journalists with impunity. How disgusting… https://t.co/n2efkIFUxd

Afghanistan gave a solid fight to team India in the last match. Our men in blue are making their way to the World Cup 2019 with almost a perfect win score now. India has won all the matches till now with a good margin.
Afghanistan came out as star when they put the Indian cricket team in a fix. Brilliant batsmen like K L Rahul, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni could not stand against the wrath of Afghanistan’s bowlers. Thankfully Bumrah’s bowling and Shami’s hattrick saved our day. We were all happy with how the team played, but I guess Sachin Tendulkar was not. Sachin Tendulkar recently criticized Dhoni for not taking responsibility and playing well when the Indian team was falling behind.
Ms Dhoni was brutally criticised by the fans and cricket critics for his sluggish knock. Dhoni only managed 28 runs off 52 balls. Well, that’s definitely not the Dhoni magic.
Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly came in support of MS Dhoni and dada said ‘Dhoni prevails to be a classy batsman despite his poor form at the moment. Dhoni will definitely prove his critics wrong by the end of the ICC World Cup 2019 at England and Wales.’
Well, we can’t wait for captain cool to be back in form!
Mitchell Starc ended Ben Stokes’ marvelous 89 runs inning by an astonishing yorker in England vs Australia match. That particular delivery by Starc turned out to be the turning point of the game and it helped Australia win the game by 64 runs in the ongoing ICC World Cup.
With this win, Australia has reserved its place in the semi-finals and left England in need to win two remaining matches to reach there.
The official twitter handle of ICC shared the video of the delivery by Starc where Strokes can be seen stunned by the unexpected and perfect yorker by Starc at the speed of 145 KPH. The ball was so fast that it didn’t even give Ben time to get his bat down in time. Disappointed by himself, Ben let the bat fall on grounds and kicked it in rage.
People can’t get over the amazing yorker by Starc and calling it the ‘ball of the tournament’. Internet users are hailing the Australian bowler for his astounding delivery.
Salman Khan yet again lands in legal trouble. A criminal complaint has been lodged against the megastar of Bollywood Salman Khan on 25 June. The complaint is lodged by a senior journalist Ashok Pandey, he accused Salman Khan of allegedly snatching his phone during an incident back in April 2019.
The complaint is registered at the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Andheri, Mumbai. It is filed under robbery, criminal mischief, assault, and criminal intimidation. The case against the actor has been filed under sections 323, 392, 426, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
In April, a complaint was lodged against Salman Khan at DN Nagar Police Station, Mumbai. The accuser has accused Salman Khan of snatching his phone and misbehaving with him as he was trying to click a video of the actor who was cycling on the linking road, Mumbai.
However, the complaint which has been lodged by the senior journalist said ‘he took permission from the Superstar’s bodyguard before shooting the actor’. He also claimed that both the actor and his bodyguard ill-treated him.
Salman Khan’s bodyguard also lodged a cross-complaint stating that the person was following the Sultan actor and recorded Salman’s video without his consent. Salman Khan asked the senior journalist not to record any video or click his pictures but they continued capturing Salman.
Ashok Pandey’s advocate said they had to take this drastic step because the police have not taken any proper cognizance of the FIR lodged against the Sultan actor.
