Akshay Kumar’s citizenship has become the center of talks again. The internet was flooding with Bollywood celebs’ inked fingers on the voting day in Mumbai and when fans noticed the missing picture of Akshay they could not help themselves asking about his absence. However, Kumar choose not to answer and when a journalist asked the same question he responded with “chaliye chaliye“.
But on Friday Akshay decided to break his silence and posted a letter on his Twitter account, clarifying that though he holds a Canadian passport, he works in India, pays his taxes here and loves this country very much.
“I really don’t understand the unwarranted interest and negativity about my citizenship. I have never hidden or denied that I hold a Canadian passport,” the letter posted by Akshay earlier today read.
“I have not visited Canada in the last seven years. I work in India and pay all my taxes in India. While all these years, I have never needed to prove my love for India to anyone, I find it disappointing that my citizenship issue is constantly dragged into a needless controversy, a matter that is personal, legal, non-political, and of no consequences to others.
“Lastly I would like to continue contributing in my own small way to the causes that I believe in and make India stronger and stronger,” it further read.

Just a few hours later, an old video surfaced on the internet where Akshay can be seen addressing the people of Toronto, calling the city his home.
The B-Town star said, “I must tell you one thing, This is my home. Toronto is my home. After I retire from this industry I am going to come back here and stay here.”

It seems as if the problems for Indian pacer S Sreesanth are not going to end any sooner as now Paddy Upton has made a startling revelation related to the spot-fixing scandal because of which Sreesanth was arrested along with Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan and BCCI imposed a ban on him.
Paddy Upton is the former mental conditioning coach of the Indian cricket team and he was also associated with the IPL team Rajasthan Royals (RR) when the spot-fixing scandal took place.
In his book entitled “The Barefoot Coach”, Paddy revealed that Sreesanth abused him and former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid in public when he was told that he was not a part of playing eleven in an IPL match. After this incident, Sreesanth was fired and was given the orders to leave for home. All this happened just 24 hours before his arrest on 16th May, 2013, and Rahul Dravid was the captain of RR at that time.
In an interview to an Indian news portal, Paddy further revealed that there was something more than what was visible to naked eye. According to him, if someone says that Sreesanth is an emotional person and he was upset, then also he won’t agree that the outburst was justifiable. He said that Rajasthan’s squad consists of 24 players and in every season before the start of every match, they tell 13 players that they are not playing. Four of them must have reasons to be disappointed but nothing can explain the manner in which Sreesanth behaved.
He went on to suggest that in that match, Sreesanth was upset because not only he but Chandila was also dropped which made it necessary for them to arrange for a third person who can fix the match as per their requirements. The third person that they chose was Ankit Chavan.
If we go by the 6000-page chargesheet filed by Delhi Police, Chandila explained Chavan that he needed to give more than 12 runs in an over. After the over in which Chavan gave 15 runs, Chandila made a call at 8:19 pm to someone and asked, “Are you happy, sethji?”
However, Sreesanth completely denied these allegations and said that he never abused Paddy and Dravid. As per him, he feels very bad for Paddy as he is doing this just for a little fame. Not only this, he calls Paddy Upton a big liar, adding that he has respected every person with whom he has played and he will keep on doing so in the future as well.

This time, it is making headlines because a woman from UAE has demanded divorce from her husband and the reason is that he is not letting her play PUBG.
The identity of the woman has not been revealed but reports suggest that she is in her twenties and lives in Ajman, UAE. She visited the social centre of Ajman police after having a violent fight with her husband because of the game.
As per a report published in Gulf News, Captain Wafa Khalil Al Hosani who is the director at the social centre says that the woman wants divorce on the ground that she is being refrained from using her right to choose the medium of entertainment which makes her happy.
On the other hand, the husband says that she would have got addicted and forgotten to fulfill her duties for family. He further adds that he suppressing her freedom was not his purpose and he just wanted to keep his family together.

However, the woman claims that she was well within her limits and was not even using the chat options with which she could have played with strangers too. Instead, she was playing just with relatives and friends so there is no question of her getting addicted.
Well, this is not the first time that PUBG has created controversies and in some countries, parents are demanding a ban on this game as it is adversely affecting their children and making them violent.
