Girl Asked Google To Give Her Father A Day Off. Google Made Her Day With The Sweetest Reply

For most of us, Google is the largest search engine giant which has answers to all our questions but in actual fact, it is a multinational corporation that is indulged in number of activities other than being a search engine, such as online advertising technologies, software, cloud computing, hardware, etc.

Usually, a large number of companies are concerned only with the customer satisfaction and delight and not much importance is given to the welfare of employees. However, the best thing about working in an oganisation like Google is that they take into consideration the aspect of employee satisfaction and happiness very seriously.

A Google employee used to get a day off only on Saturday but his cute little daughter wanted one more leave for her father. So she wrote a letter to Google asking to give her father a day off on Wednesday as he only gets one on Saturday. She also mentioned that it is her father’s birthday as well as summer time.

Here is the letter written by the employee’s daughter:

“Dear Google worker,

Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off like he can get a day off on Wednesday because daddy only gets a day off on Saturday.

From,

Katie

PS. It is daddy’s BIRTHDAY!”

Everyone was awestruck with the cuteness and innocence of the cute girl and the Google management liked it so much that they decided to give her father a bonus week off.

First Review Of Gully Boy Is Here, Critics And Fans Are Praising It.

One of the most awaited movie of this year, Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar is all set to release on 14th February. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, this movie is going to protrude a new genre altogether.

The film yet to get released in the theaters, for the masses, had a special screening in Berlin. The film was on the big screen for the very first time in the Berlin Film Festival.

For Rajeev Masand it was the power of music and lyrics that brought out a beautiful coming of age love story. Ranveer Singh performed extraordinarily well. This was for him a love letter to Mumbai.

According to Anupama Chopra though the duration of the film is way too long but Ranveer Singh’s sophisticated acting skill proved the best for this socio-cultural milieu.

One of the first Western critic for this film is Hollywood Reporter. It said the film belongs to Ranveer Singh but the women characters are extremely strong to be alongside him. Though for them the story line maybe a bit like Star is born but the high quality music and the excellent camera work by Jay Oza brought out the originality Zoya Akhtar wanted to portray.

Teen’s Hard-Hitting Post About A Postgraduate Guy Delivering Zomato’s Orders Is Heart-Breaking

The Indian food industry is evolving at a fast pace, thanks to the apps like Zomato, Swiggy, etc. which are making it quite easy for the customers to order food online from their favorite restaurants and get them delivered at their doorstep. These apps are helpful for restaurant owners as well because they not only help in increasing their businesses but also eliminate the need to recruit delivery boys.

A number of people have got jobs too because of this new development but what will be your reaction if you find out that the person who is delivering food at your doorsteps is a highly qualified person?

A teenager named Shouvik Dutta ordered food from Zomato and as he was going through the profile of the delivery boy Meraj, he found out that he is a post graduate in Commerce. Shouvik who is a college student was quite taken aback by the fact that a highly qualified person is doing the job of a delivery boy in Zomato. He says that the most embarrassing moment of his life was when Meraj asked him to give good rating.

They both had a quick chat and Shouvik got to know that Meraj has also done PGDM in Finance or Investment Banking other than being a post graduate from Calcutta University. Shouvik posted this incident on social media site Facebook and questioned the condition of jobs in India.

It was one of those usual checkouts ordering food, when I was taken a back after I was updated the details of my delivery agent.

Soon a call came, sir I have arrived,

Gathering myself went to the front door to pick my food, as I noticed the man standing there with a wide smile on his face, he handed me the parcel

Then happened the most embarrassing moment of my life

We had a quick chat were I got to know he was an M.Com graduate from Calcutta University and also done PGDM in Finance or Investment banking something similar

Fan Kept Flag On Ground While Touching Dhoni’s Feet, Dhoni Picked Up Flag Instantly & Won Hearts

MS Dhoni, the former skipper of team India, is one of the most loved cricketers and his fans are absolutely crazy for him.

In the third and final T20 against New Zealand when the hosts were batting, a fan of MSD breached security, came running on the ground towards Dhoni and touched his feet. The fan was also carrying an Indian flag and while he bent down to touch Dhoni’s feet, the flag touched the ground. As the Indian cricketer saw the flag touching the ground, he picked it up instantly.

As the video of the same goes viral, fans are going gaga over this patriotic gesture of Dhoni and showering praises on him on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Colin Munro was the Man of the Match while his opening partner Tim Seifert was declared Man of the Series as he scored 139 runs in the 3 matches at an average of 46.33 runs. Amol Palekar’s Speech Abruptly Cut Off At Mumbai Event, People Are Calling It Rude & Insulting

Dissent refers to when you criticize or raise your voice against something or a popular opinion that is commonly held. And in India, when we dare to do so, we’re either cut off or humiliated in public.

That is exactly what happened to veteran actor Amol Palekar, who had been asked to give a speech at the National Gallery Of Modern Art, which had been organized by the Ministry of Culture.

Palekar tried to highlight the fact that the Ministry of Culture had prohibited any kind of artistes’ advisory committee at the Bengaluru and Mumbai centres of the gallery.

This has been termed as an ‘ideological decline to art’ and Palekar wanted to highlight the numerous disadvantages that such a move will bring along.

However, a woman in the panel kept interrupting him and rudely cut him off in the middle of his speech. At one point, Palekar seemed ready to give up and walk away.

However, when Palekar tried to proceed with the speech, another woman in the gallery interrupted him and asked him to focus on the event, which revolved around artist Prabhakar Barwe.
