India Lost T20 Series To New Zealand, Twitter Held Rohit Sharma Responsible & Heavily Slammed Him

The hopes were riding high on the Indian cricket team when the T20 series started against New Zealand as India’s performance was superb in the ODIs. However, there was one change in the Indian side and that was the absence of Indian skipper Virat Kohli from the team. Due to the same, it was Rohit Sharma who led the team in the series.

The New Zealand team has won the T20 series by 2-1 after defeating India in the final match by 4 runs. Batting first, New Zealand put up a solid show and scored 212 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. The opening pair of the host played brilliantly as Colin Munro scored 72 runs (40) and he was well supported by Tim Seifert who scored 43 runs (25).

Chasing a 200 plus score in a T20 match is always a tough task and it gets tougher when the team doesn’t get a good start. India lost Shikhar Dhawan early and no batsman was able to make a big score. At the end of 20 overs, India was 208 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Twitter is slamming the Indian cricketers, especially Rohit Sharma, for this defeat. The social media users felt that Rohit Sharma batted as if he was batting in a test match and he scored just 38 runs in 32 balls.

Some also said that his captaincy was not good as he made Pandya brothers bowling despite the fact that they were proving expensive and he could have used Vijay Shankar as a bowler but opted otherwise. Netizens are not happy with other cricketers as well but a majority of people slammed Rohit Sharma.

Alia Bhatt Responds To Being Called Karan Johar’s ‘Puppet’, Has An Epic Reply For Kangana Ranaut

The Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt controversy seems to be heating up with every passing day as neither side seems willing to take a back seat in the war of words.

It all started when Kangana used Alia as an example to show that Bollywood actresses never support each other and that they only reached out to her when they needed something.

But Alia Bhatt said that she was not affected by such comments and even hoped that Kangana would not be holding such things against her. However, this did not pacify Kangana.

Ranaut later said that Alia should grow a spine and be her own person. Manikarnika is a film on women empowerment and she should have supported the film.

Ranaut also added that she does not consider Alia to be an actress because she only wants to make money. She also called Alia Karan Johar’s puppet.

When a leading publication asked Alia to comment on Kangana’s statements, Alia gave an epic response. She said that she would give her reply to Kangana directly in person.

She also said that she admired the actress for her work and her calibre, and feels that she has not done anything to deserve such scathing attacks.

Although Netizens Trolled Ranveer’s Latest Look, Wife Deepika Loved It. Read Her Comment

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is nowadays busy with the promotion of his latest movie “Gully Boy” and while doing this, he has been wearing some really unusual dresses for which he is getting trolled on a regular basis. In fact just a couple of days ago, he was trolled by his good friend Arjun Kapoor who called him a ‘narangi mausambi wala’ after Ranveer posted a photo of himself in a multi-coloured dress.

Well, people can say anything but it hardly matters to Ranveer as he is always seen in his unusual and one-of-a-kind attires and why it should really matter to him when his wife and actress Deepika Padukone is happy with his fashion sense.

Yes, you read that right! Recently, Ranveer Singh took to the photo-sharing site Instagram and posted three pics in which he is seen wearing a blue fur jacket that has been customised by Manish Arora. He wore this at Berlinale 2019 and ‘Gully Boy’ can be seen written on one of the sleeves of jacket.

Soon after Ranveer shared these pics, netizens started trolling him and some of them even went on to compare him with the cartoon character from Sullivan from Monsters Inc.

However, Deepika had a different opinion about these pics which proves that she actually likes such a funky avatar of her husband. She posted a comment on Ranveer’s post that read, “One of my most favourite looks!!”

This Man Gave Rs 30,000 To A Roadside Barber For Rs 20 Haircut. Reason Will Make You Respect Him

In the modern day world, people have become self-centered and virtues like kindness and generosity have become things of past but there are still some persons who are working hard to keep the humanity alive. Today we will tell you about one such person who is full of love, compassion and kindness and he doesn’t mind sharing his hard-earned money with a poor person.

We are talking about Harald Baldr, a YouTuber from Norway who travels a lot and makes videos on different topics. His latest video was shot in Ahmedabad where he had a haircut by an Indian street barber/hairdresser who charges Rs. 20 per haircut.

When Harald asked about his charges, the barber told him the correct rate and didn’t increase the price which people usually do after seeing a foreigner. Harald had a haircut and was very happy with the working style of the barber as he was looking into each and every detail and was fully immersed in his work.

When the haircut was complete, Harald paid him Rs. 30,000 instead of Rs. 20 as he was very much impressed with his honesty and dedication. Harald took the help of a local person for translation and made the barber understand that he was donating money so that he could buy some new tools and do something good for his family.

The YouTuber explained to everyone in the video that he is starting a new series in which he will be donating the money that he will earn through www.patreon.com every month. The donation will be made to any entrepreneur or needy person whom he will meet while travelling.

He also said that earlier he was using this money for himself but as he is earning good from YouTube now, he feels that he should do something good for the society. The name of the series hasn’t been decided and he is open to suggestions from the public about his future videos.

We need more such people like Harald Baldr to make this world a better place to live!

Smriti Mandhana Plays Brilliantly Against New Zealand, Twitter Wants Her In Men’s World Cup Team

The Indian women cricket team may have lost the T20i series against New Zealand by 3-0 but Smriti Mandhana has made sure that the series will be remembered more for her rather than anything else. She played a blistering knock in the third and final T20 match as she took only 62 balls to score 86 runs, surpassing her top score of 83 runs which she scored against Australia in 2018.

It was quite unfortunate that she was not able to score a 100 in this match but Indian fans went so crazy that they have started demanding her inclusion in the men’s team for the World Cup. India lost the match by 2 runs as Mithali Raj was able to score a single only while a boundary was needed on the last ball.

In the opening T20 match also, Smriti was in great form as she scored the fastest half century as far as Indian women cricketers are concerned. She took only 24 balls to score a fifty while in the second T20, she contributed 36 runs with bat. Mandhana is the top scorer of the series with 195 runs in the three T20i and if she keeps on playing like this, she is definitely going to win the Women’s Cricketer of the Year for 2019 also, just like she has won for 2018.

The Indian Twitter users were left awestruck with Smriti’s talent and while some want to her to play for men’s team, several others wish that she should be declared the player of the series.

Old Video Of ‘Gabbar Of Bollywood’ Amjad Khan Goes Viral, He Proves What A Legend He Really Is

Anyone who’s a fan of Bollywood classics like I am knows what a legendary actor Amjad Khan really is. He may have been appalling in his role as Gabbar in Sholay, but that just reiterates his capabilities as an actor.

As a child, I remember how my father would spout off dialogues from Sholay, and his favourite was “Yahan se pachas pachas kos door gaon mein … jab bachcha raat ko rota hai, toh maa kehti hai bete soo ja … soo ja nahi toh Gabbar Singh aa jayega.”

To see an old interview of Amjad Khan going viral makes me really nostalgic. He may have been one of the most prominent villains of Bollywood, but there was a side to him that not many got to see.

In his typical ‘ada’, Amjad is seen sitting with the Gabbar swagger as he speaks about his time in Bollywood and about his movies or being typecast as a villain.

He says that his films did not work because they did not have sensational scenes like most films of the era. Instead, people were more inclined to watch unrealistic films.

He clearly says that films with dogs and snakes doing unusual things were way more popular than the hardcore cinema he actually preferred to work in.

For instance, he says he never understood why a film like “Tere Mang Sitaron Se Bhar Doon”, which starred him and Nutan, never worked. Not even Raj Khosla, the director, knew what went wrong.

The video offers a completely different side to him, and gives us a glimpse into his personal opinions. He is sensible, charismatic and most importantly, very clear on his perspective of how Bollywood really works.
