Anyone who’s a fan of Bollywood classics like I am knows what a legendary actor Amjad Khan really is. He may have been appalling in his role as Gabbar in Sholay, but that just reiterates his capabilities as an actor.

As a child, I remember how my father would spout off dialogues from Sholay, and his favourite was “Yahan se pachas pachas kos door gaon mein … jab bachcha raat ko rota hai, toh maa kehti hai bete soo ja … soo ja nahi toh Gabbar Singh aa jayega.”

To see an old interview of Amjad Khan going viral makes me really nostalgic. He may have been one of the most prominent villains of Bollywood, but there was a side to him that not many got to see.

In his typical ‘ada’, Amjad is seen sitting with the Gabbar swagger as he speaks about his time in Bollywood and about his movies or being typecast as a villain.

He says that his films did not work because they did not have sensational scenes like most films of the era. Instead, people were more inclined to watch unrealistic films.

He clearly says that films with dogs and snakes doing unusual things were way more popular than the hardcore cinema he actually preferred to work in.

For instance, he says he never understood why a film like “Tere Mang Sitaron Se Bhar Doon”, which starred him and Nutan, never worked. Not even Raj Khosla, the director, knew what went wrong.

The video offers a completely different side to him, and gives us a glimpse into his personal opinions. He is sensible, charismatic and most importantly, very clear on his perspective of how Bollywood really works.

There has been fresh snowfall in the Kashmir Valley which has practically brought daily life to a stand still, owing to a sudden drop in temperature.

However, that doesn’t mean children there aren’t making the most of this opportunity to have fun and make merry. Some kids have come up with this devious strategy of making tunnels where they can hide from their parents.

In a video that has now gone viral, this young Kashmiri girl is seen pretending to be a journalist. She uses a marble slab as a mic and even interviews other kids.

‘My Name Is RaGa’ Teaser Out. After Modi, We’re Now Getting A Rahul Gandhi Biopic

It seems to be the year for political biopics. After PM Narendra Modi announced his biopic, you seriously didn’t think that Congress was going to take it lying down, did you?

In a surprise move, the teaser for ‘My Name Is RaGa’ has been dropped, which gives us a deeper insight into the personal life of the Congress President, Rahul Gandhi.

The film is to be directed by Rupesh Paul and is apparently not an attempt to glorify him. Instead, the film depicts the how Rahul Gandhi rose like a phoenix from the scathing attacks and trolling he had been subjected to.

In the trailer, a woman tells Gandhi that she admires and loves him for the way he had acquired the favour of even his enemies. Pleased, Gandhi winks at her.

However, the teaser has been met with mixed reviews on Twitter. While some people are calling it a propaganda, some are even praising the teaser.

The role of Rahul Gandhi will be played by Aswini Kumar and in an ironic twist of events, Raju Kher will be playing former PM Manmohan Singh. In case it slipped your minds, his brother, Anupam Kher played Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister.

Last year, she made headlines because of her link up with Himansh Kohli but now they both have parted ways and Neha accepted that she went into depression after her break-up.

Recently, she gave an interview in which she talked about many aspects of her life, including separation with Himansh. She called the break-up period as the worst phase of her life and said that being single is the best feeling of her life at present.

The singer further stated that due to her relationship, she was not able to spend quality time with her family and wasted her time and energy on a person who was not even worthy of it. She said that she used to give him a lot of time but still he always kept on complaining about not spending much time together.

Neha is quite happy that she has moved on and now she has understood that there is nothing more important than her family members in this world. What’s more, she is not open to love after going through a bad experience.

On the professional front, she has not started any project after Indian Idol but she was not able to refuse when she was offered a show “Kakkar” Special for MTV unplugged. In this show, she will be working with her siblings Tony and Sonu. She even goes on to say that from now on, she will sing only those songs that are written by her brother Tony. Neha promised that all the songs will be quite different from what people have got to hear so far and they will also love the bonding of Kakkar siblings.

Girl Called Customer Care For Rs 107 Refund, Ended Up Losing Rs 82,000

Online shopping may be gaining prominence in our society but there are some issues which need to be resolved by the e-commerce companies such as the problems which customers face when they have to return a product and get the refund. However, several issues are even bigger and a consumer can be at risk of getting cheated if he is not alert and watchful.

A 25 years old girl from Pune ordered a ring online on November 3, 2018, but after receiving it, she decided to return as it didn’t fit her finger well. She returned the ring and asked for the refund of Rs. 107; however as the refund did not take place in scheduled time limit, she called the customer care.

The executive asked for her card details and she provided the complete information including the OTP that she received and that too, three times. Subsequently, Rs. 1600 were withdrawn by the imposter in 3 transactions.

She filed a complaint with the e-commerce company and was asked to give details of another card so she provided her father’s debit card details. A link was sent on her father’s phone by the fraudsters and they asked her to click it and then switch off the mobile. When the mobile was switched on, Rs. 20,000 were withdrawn.

The girl’s father called the person and asked him about it to which he said that refund would be done the next morning but then Rs. 60,000 were also withdrawn and the next morning, Rs. 181 were withdrawn, leaving account in nil balance.

Father of the girl lodged an FIR against the fraudsters and on February 7, 2019, three people were arrested by the Faraskhana police. Inspector Sambhaji Shirke told TOI that the arrests have been made under Sections 419 and 420 of IPC and provisions of IT Acts.
