Indian Fans Are Calling Australian Journo Chloe Amanda Bailey ‘Bhabhi’ & She Seems To Enjoy It
The Indian cricket team may have suffered a humiliating defeat in the first test match against England in the four match test series but they certainly scripted history in Australia by defeating the hosts by 2-1 in the four match test series. That victory becomes more important when we consider the fact that the Indian squad was without its skipper Virat Kohli and some other main players such as Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, etc. During the series, some other senior players also got injured and in the fourth test match, the team which faced the star-studded Australian side was a young and less experienced side led by Ajinkya Rahane.
The Indian cricket lovers were very happy with this win but there was one more person who was also glad despite being Australian. We are talking about Chloe Amanda Bailey, the Aussie journalist. She posted many tweets in support of the Indian team during the series which didn’t go unnoticed by the Indian fans and they also started following her and showering praises on her.
Chloe’s favourite cricketer is Virat Kohli and she has also stated once that she likes the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore a lot. Many times she has replied to her followers on Twitter and has also greeted them with Hindi messages such as Namaskar, Shubh Ratri, etc. Chloe calls the former Indian cricketer Dhoni a legend and in response to a question asked by a follower, she tells that her favourite dish is Chole Bhature as it matches her name. Not just this, she has also stated that she will certainly visit India one day.

What makes it more interesting is that her cover image is a meme which also features Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, current President of BCCI Sourav Ganguly and former Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting.
Recently, the Indian Twitterati started calling her Bhabhi (sister-in-law), something which she was also not able to understand. Here are some of the selected reactions:
