The increasing pollution in our country is a great reason to worry for not just the government but the citizens as well because it is affecting our health in very bad manner. Whenever we talk about the increasing pollution, we blame the industries and the government but we can also play an important role in curbing the issue.

We use a lot of paper in our daily life but if we reduce its usage, we may play a good role in fighting with deforestation. A visiting card is something which is used by almost everyone so it is quite obvious that a lot of paper is utilized for this purpose. However, opting for an eco-friendly way will help in reducing deforestation to a great extent.

Parveen Kaswan who is employed in the Indian Forest Services (IFS) has set forth a great example as he took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and shared the photo of his visiting card. What makes his visiting card special is the fact that it grows into a basil plant whenever it is planted in soil.

Parveen Kaswan writes in his tweet that whoever will visit his office will get his visiting card and then they can grow it into a basil plant. Here is what his tweet read, “So now anybody coming to my office is getting this. This card when planted grows into a bright basil plant. Thanks @WildLense_India.”
