Twitter User Asks About Eating Dosa With Non Veg Curry. Desi Twitter Can’t Keep Calm.
India is a land of spices and along with that is the land of foodies as well.Various combinations are been tried and eaten all over the country, whether it is vegetarian or non vegetarian.
Among everything Dosa and Idli are the most famous option where breakfast is concerned. People all over India cherish these traditional foods with undying love. Recently a curious twitter user asked the people if they have ever tried non vegetarian dosa options and the replies he got were all overwhelming.
How many of you here have tried Dosa with beef curry or any other non veg dishes?

I used to eat regularly in a small Tamil eatery in Bombay, where they used to make motta-dosa, they'd pour a egg into the center of the dosa, like how you make half-boiled egg. I never could muster the courage to try it, but it was quite popular.

It still is. Adipoli in Kalyan does the egg in appams dish (similar to Sri lankan hoppers/hoppums). The Bombay Canteen, lower Parel serves a Dosa with Mangalorean chicken curry and a Dosa waffle dessert. I think the Dosa waffle will pair well with chicken/mutton curries too.

There is also an interesting combination in Bangalore homes of dosa (cheela in Bangalore Urdu) and sheera, a sweet “paysa” like syrup made with coconut and poppy seeds.
