The modern generation is quite enthusiastic when it comes to making the special events of their lives memorable and marriage is certainly one of them. The couples nowadays come up with new ideas for making their pre-wedding shoots unique, their entry at the venues classic and also focus a lot on the invitation cards.

In one such interesting event, a lawyer couple has got their wedding cards designed on the theme of constitution which is one-of-its-kind and undoubtedly people won’t be able to forget it for long.

First of all, take a look at the wedding card:

The card starts with “Notice of Wedding Reception” while the name of the groom and the bride are written on the scales which symbolize equality. Different laws and articles are also used in the card for other purposes, for example, it is written in the card that Right to Life under Article 21 of Indian constitution grants them the right to get married which they are using now. The card also talks about the right of the guests to attend the wedding, it states that their gracious presence is requested under the Article 19 (i)(b) which gives them the right to assemble peacefully and without arms.

The card also talks about the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 under which they both have taken the decision to solemnize the wedding on the D-day and in the end, it is written that when lawyers get married instead of saying, “Yes I do”, they say, “We accept the terms and conditions”.

As soon as the pic of the card went viral, the micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with hilarious reactions:

“New Boss Of Veggies,” Twitter Flooded With Hilarious Memes As Tomato Price Crosses Rs 100/KG

Inflation is one of the biggest problems that a common man has to face and it has been troubling us more as we are already going through the tough times because of COVID-19. For the past few months, the rising prices of petrol and diesel have been making headlines but for some days now, tomatoes are leaving customers red-faced, not because of their quality or taste but for their prices.

Representational Image

The reasons behind the increasing prices of tomatoes are rain and floods which have destroyed the crops where tomatoes are grown in abundance.

Andhra Pradesh is the largest producer of tomatoes in India and the price of tomatoes over there is Rs. 100/kg and there are pretty good chances that it will rise further. Chennai is the most affected city in terms of prices of tomatoes as a person needs to spend Rs. 140 for one kilogram of tomatoes. In other south Indian states, tomatoes are available at a price ranging from Rs.90/kg to Rs.120/kg while in the national capital region, they are being sold at Rs. 90/kg to Rs. 110/kg.

There is no denying the fact that prices of tomatoes are making mostly everyone cry but netizens have found humour even in this situation and as a result, the micro-blogging site Twitter is literally flooded with rib-tickling memes on the issue. While some compared to the price hike in petrol and diesel, there were few who advised others to forget cryptocurrency and shares and invest in tomatoes.

Here are some of the selected reactions:

Wasim Jaffer Notices Similarity Among All Recent T20s Winners & Suggests Victory Jersey For India

The former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is pretty active on social media, especially on the micro-blogging site Twitter and he has a reputation of making funny tweets and trolling other cricketers, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan being his favorite target.

Recently, Wasim Jaffer once again made a tweet which was not only funny but quite interesting as well because he wanted to bring back the old jersey that the Indian cricketers used to wear in the 90s. In the recent past, some T20 tournaments took place such as the IPL 2021 which took place in UAE, the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 that was hosted by India but was conducted in both UAE and Oman and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. While the IPL 2021 was won by Chennai Super Kings, Australia emerged as the winner in the T20 World Cup and Tamil Nadu attained victory in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

One thing that is common in all the three teams is that the color of their jerseys is yellow and this similarity was noticed by Wasim Jaffer. He took to Twitter to share a photo of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in the yellow jersey.

Check out the pic:

The caption of the tweet read, “Seeing teams in yellow winning trophies, time to bring this jersey back? #INDvNZ #T20WorldCup”

Here is the tweet made by Wasim Jaffer:

A Twitter user also shared a meme in which all the three teams are seen celebrating their trophy win. The tweet was captioned as, “2021 is year of yellow jersey… Champion” with trophy emoticon.

The Indian squad may have whitewashed New Zealand in the recently concluded three match T20 series but it had a pretty disappointing ICC T20 World Cup as it was not even able to enter the semi-finals of the tournament. In fact, team India had a very bad start to the tournament as it lost its first two matches to Pakistan and New Zealand.

Presently, India and New Zealand are playing the first test match of the two-match test series at Kanpur which is being played under the World Test Championship 2021-23. In the test match, India won the toss and decided to bat first and till the time this article was written, India scored 251/4 with Shubman Gill (52) and Shreyas Iyer (69*) and Ravindra Jadeja (50*) playing useful half-century innings.

So do you also want the yellow jersey back for the Indian team or do you feel that it’s just a co-incidence and bringing back the yellow jersey will not have any impact on team India’s performance? Let us know your opinion.

Dhoni Retained By CSK For 3 Yrs, KL Rahul To Lead Lucknow, See Other Players Franchises Retained

The IPL 2022 is certainly going to be bigger and better than all the previous seasons as two new teams (Lucknow and Ahmedabad) will be added in the tournament from this season and the teams will go under big overhaul as the mega auction will take place before the IPL 2022.

Though the exact date of the mega auction is not yet known, there are reports that it may take place in the first week of December and the IPL franchises also need to submit the list of players they will retain to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) by November 30. The two new teams have also been given permission to sign two players out of auction.

As per the IPL retention policy for 2022, franchises can retain maximum 4 players and as everyone already expected, Chennai Super Kings has retained its skipper MS Dhoni for the next 3 years. Other players which CSK will retain are – the young cricketer and Orange cap winner of the IPL 2021, Ruturaj Gaikwad and one of the finest all-rounders of the present times, Ravindra Jadeja. The Chennai franchise is also in talks with Moeen Ali but if things don’t work out, the franchise will most probably retain Sam Curran.

Mumbai Indians, the most successful franchise of the IPL, has retained its skipper Rohit Sharma and pacer Jasprit Bumrah and most likely Ishan Kishan will also be retained. MI is also in talks with Kieron Pollard and is also interested in having Suryakumar Yadav in the team.

KL Rahul, the cricketer who has led Punjab Kings in the last season has bid goodbye to the team and has accepted the deal offered to him by the new Lucknow franchise so in the IPL 2022, he will be seen leading the Lucknow team.

Delhi Capitals will also retain its skipper Rishabh Pant along with Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel and Anrich Nortje, the South African pacer. Many were hoping to see Shreyas Iyer getting retained by the Delhi franchise but things don’t seem to work out as of now. The cricketer is interested in donning the captain’s cap once again but the Delhi franchise is pretty happy with the manner in which Rishabh Pant has led the team.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan owned Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has decided to retain Andre Russell and Sunil Narine and the talks are still on with Varun Chakravarthy, Venkatesh Iyer and Shubman Gill. As far as Royal Challengers Bangalore is concerned, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell have been retained, AB de Villiers may have been the next name in the list but he has now taken retirement from all forms of cricket so RCB will have a tough task of finding his replacement.

The IPL 2022 is going to be exciting, what do you think?
