Ranveer Singh starrer “Gully Boy” was loved by audiences and it has won many awards too but it will also be remembered for the debut of Siddhant Chaturvedi who played the character of MC Sher in the movie.
Siddhant managed to impress movie buffs with his acting and now he is being touted as the next big thing in Bollywood. His journey has not been an easy one as he is from a non-filmy background but his efforts have definitely paid now.
Recently, Siddhant talked about many aspects of his life including his struggle and how his parents reacted when he told them about his aspiration to make career in Bollywood.
Siddhant’s father is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and his parents wanted him to become a CA as well. But Siddhant dreamed of becoming an actor and he took part in the Bombay Times Fresh Face which he won too. After winning this contest, he thought that it will be easy for him to enter the film industry but it didn’t happen until he gave an audition for “Gully Boy” and the rest is history.
Siddhant is quite proud of his journey as it has been emotional and inspirational both. What’s more, his family was also very supportive and this helped him in continuing despite facing failures. This interview was given in Starry Nights GEN Y of Zee Café and in this episode, Siddhant also told whom from Bollywood he will like to date, stalk and marry. Quite interestingly, he would love to date gorgeous Alia Bhatt, stalk beautiful Sara Ali Khan and tie the knot with stunning Kiara Advani.
We wish Siddhant Chaturvedi all the best for his future endeavours!

Aakash Chopra, the former Indian cricketer turned commentator, is a pretty famous name in the cricketing circuits and he is liked by many Indian cricket fans, especially by those who love to hear commentary in Hindi.
There is no denying the fact that Hindi commentary was not given much importance before 2012 when Star Sports, the host broadcaster of Indian cricket, decided to explore this field. Since then, Aakash has been a favourite name among the lovers of Hindi commentary and his popularity started increasing from the 2013 Champions Trophy which was played in England.
Aakash Chopra is quite witty; he has a good command in the Hindi language and his one-liners also help him in keeping audiences engaged. While giving an interview, Aakash opened up about the fact that despite being equally good in English, why he opted to do commentary in Hindi.
As per Aakash Chopra, he is more natural in Hindi as it is his first language. He further added that as he was with Star Sports from the beginning phase of the Hindi commentary, he had the opportunity to create a new template while on the other hand, the template in English was already prepared. He also said that there are some who create their own style different from template such as Danny Morrison but he is not Danny.
Talking about Hindi commentary, Aakash said that he never tried to do shayari like Navjot Singh Sidhu because he is not good at it. Aakash is pretty clear with the fact that he should play to his strengths which is playing with words, rhyming or pun. When he was asked about the piece of commentary that he loved the most, he talked about the commentary of Ravi Shastri which he did in India-England match of 2007 T20 World Cup in which Yuvraj Singh hit six sixers in an over of Stuart Broad. Aakash said that it is not easy to do commentary in such a scenario because every time you just can’t say that it is a six, a commentator has to be creative and that is where theatre comes into play.
Which is your favourite commentator?

However, the good thing is that around 80 people have recovered as well in India but in order to control the disease, the government has imposed complete lockdown in the country till April 15.
In such an atmosphere, West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo has come up with an inspirational song which will give strength to each of us to fight COVID-19 together. Earlier, Dwayne Bravo’s song “Champions” was loved by the cricket fans which he released during the T20 World Cup 2016. The West Indian all-rounder made a comeback in the team last year after taking retirement two years ago and he is definitely going to play an important role in the T20 World Cup 2020 for his team which is going to take place in Australia.
Dwayne Bravo has been a member of the World Cup winning teams two times and in the IPL, he plays for Chennai Super Kings. The chances of IPL 2020 taking place this year are pretty low now; however, BCCI hasn’t made any announcement regarding it till now.
Great initiative by Dwayne Bravo! How did you find the song?

Yuzvendra Chahal has been quite regular in posting videos on TikTok. Some time back, he shared a video in which he was dancing with two girls and then he also posted a video in which his female friend was seen pulling his cheeks in a cute manner.
Chahal plays from the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and was quite enthusiastic for performing well in IPL 2020 as he wanted his team to win their first IPL title. Yuzi has been an integral part of the team for a long time now and has taken wickets whenever his team needed the most. Chahal is quite active on social media and also runs a channel Chahal TV in which he talks with his fellow cricketers and gives updates to the fans about what is going on in the dressing room.
IPL 2020 has been postponed till April 15 and the manner in which the situation is changing, it seems difficult for the tournament to take place this year. However, no announcement has been made by BCCI in this regard so let’s just wait and watch. Meanwhile, stay at home and practice social distancing to be safe!

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) has been postponed till April 15 but after looking at the condition prevailing in the country, every cricket fan feels that IPL 2020 taking place this year is highly difficult. India is under a complete lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak which originated in Wuhan, China, and now it has spread to more than 180 countries of the world.
MS Dhoni, the Indian cricketer and IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper, is also back in his hometown Ranchi after training for some time in Chennai. Dhoni played last for India in the 2019 ICC World Cup semi-final and since then, he has made himself unavailable for selection.
A lot has been said about his return in the team and many former cricketers are of the opinion that it will be difficult or may even be impossible for him to make a comeback in the team as he has not played any cricket match for a long time now. However, the head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri once said that Mahi’s chances of getting back in the team for the T20 World Cup 2020 will be bright only if he performs great in IPL. But as the chances of IPL taking place are bleak now, the probabilty of Dhoni getting back in the team also appears to be very less.
Well, someone doesn’t think like this. The childhood coach of MS Dhoni, Keshav Ranjan Banerjee said in an interview that though BCCI hasn’t made any announcement, the chances of IPL being played is very less presently and it is going to be tough for Dhoni to get back in the team but his sixth sense says that Dhoni will definitely play T20 World Cup which will be his last tournament.
Banerjee says that he has talked to the former skipper after his return from Chennai and he is also in touch with his parents. As per the coach, Dhoni is practicing regularly and he is in a good shape. Banerjee also said that earlier Dhoni used to practice at JSCA but now as everything is closed, he is making good use of the facilities (badminton court, gym, running corridor, etc.) that he has at his home.
When Banerjee was asked about the fact that Dhoni has not played cricket for so long, he said that the cricketer has a huge experience of 538 International matches and it won’t take him long to get accustomed to the situation. Things may have been difficult for a beginner but for Dhoni, it is completely different. Banerjee also said that BCCI is fully aware of everything and they will be making announcements when the right time will come.
Do you think MS Dhoni will be back in the Indian squad for T20 World Cup 2020 which is going to be played in Australia? Let us know your views.

The chances of Indian Premier League 2020 taking place may be very less now as India is under complete lockdown till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak. The English cricketer Ben Stokes who is a part of the IPL team Rajasthan Royal was targeted by a Twitter user when the player said in an interview that the next tournament that he is going to play is IPL.
The cricketer said that he is working on his fitness to play in IPL 2020 if it takes place. However, this statement didn’t go well with one Twitter user who advised the cricketer to forget the limelight and money and start thinking for everyone.
This is what the user wrote, “England all-rounder @benstokes38 says he is still preparing for a return to competitive cricket in the Indian Premier League next month. Get a grip; 1.3 billion are in lockdown. forget the money & limelight, think for everyone. #coronavirus”
Ben Stokes responded soon and advised the user to read complete articles and just not the headlines. Not just this, he also shared an excerpt of the interview.
As per Ben, he has made himself believe that IPL is going to take place despite the fact that at the back of his mind, he knows that probably it may not take place. He says that he has to keep himself fit and in a position to play if it happens. He further states that he cannot take a break of 3 weeks and then expect his body to be ready to play on April 20 because if it happens, he doesn’t want to remain behind.
Here is the tweet:
The number of coronavirus patients is increasing at an alarming rate and the Indian government decided to impose complete lockdown in order to contain the spread of coronavirus. The disease is contagious in nature so the best way to keep yourself safe is to stay at home and practice social distancing.
Did Ben Stokes inspire you to work on your fitness more during this lockdown of 21 days?

MS Dhoni, the former skipper of the Indian cricket team, was lately in news but for all the wrong reasons. Reports were doing rounds that Mahi has donated Rs. 1 lakh to Mukul Madhav Foundation, Pune, which is an NGO that will support nearly 100 families for the next 14 days during the lockdown. Many people were criticising Dhoni for donating such a small amount despite the fact that he is one of the richest cricketers of India.
Now, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni has broken her silence on this matter and slammed all the media houses for spreading fake news. Sakshi took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote,
“I request all media houses to stop carrying out false news at sensitive times like these! Shame on You! I wonder where responsible journalism has disappeared!”
There is no denying the fact that these are sensitive times as coronavirus has already taken lives of more than 24,000 people and over 5.5 lakh people have been found infected with it worldwide. If we talk about India only, over 700 people have been found infected while 17 have lost their lives.
MS Dhoni played last for India in the semi-final of ICC World Cup 2019 in which India got defeated by New Zealand. His fans were hoping to see him back in action in IPL 2020 which was slated to start from March 29 but got postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The return of MS Dhoni in the Indian team will be difficult now as he may have claimed the berth in the Indian squad for T20 World Cup 2020 by performing well in IPL but the chances of IPL 2020 taking place are very bleak now. However, BCCI hasn’t made any official announcement regarding it.
