“Scored 100, Got MOM Award, Still Got Dropped For 14 Games,” Manoj Tiwary On His Mystery Exit

The biggest motivation for a youngster for pursuing cricket as a career is to play for the country, while some cricketers manage to make it big by playing at the international level, there are several talented players who get a chance to represent India but their career is short-lived due to various reasons and one such cricketer is Manoj Tiwary.

The cricketer turned politician who is presently the minister of state for Affairs of Sports and Youth in the Bengal government made his debut in the year 2008. He played 12 ODIs and 3 T20Is for India in a period of 7 years in 8 different series and though he feels sad at times for not getting many opportunities yet he has no regrets.

In a recent interview, Manoj Tiwary opened up on his cricket journey, expressed his ire on the management of his times and also lauded working style of the current Indian team management. He said that in the match against West Indies, he scored a century and also won the Man of the Match award but after that he was not included in the playing XI for 14 matches which is a record in itself. The Bengal cricketer goes on to say that it is really a mystery for him and he will certainly ask this question to those who were in charge at that time if he gets a chance. He also states that even after it when he played next, he scored 65 runs and took 4 wickets but still he didn’t get many chances.

Manoj Tiwary is of the opinion that though a person doesn’t get upset when he gets matured still sometimes it feels sad when he sees a player of less potential playing as he could have proven himself if he had got more chances. He added that if there had been the current Indian team management in his playing time, he would have benefitted a lot as they are backing the players even after 4-5 failures.

As per him, it can be observed that the players of today are secure and are playing freely because they know they have support of the management. He further adds that it really feels good to see it because in his opinion, 4 innings neither make a player nor break him.

Manoj Tiwary gave the example of Rishabh Pant as he said that even after fingers were raised on his form and consistency, the head coach Rahul Dravid made it clear that he is a part of India’s big plans and he will definitely make us win matches in future.

What do you think of Manoj Tiwary’s statements? Do let us know.

“Kaun Hai Re Ye Pagal,” DK Revealed Sourav Ganguly Got Angry At Him During INDvsPAK

Dinesh Karthik has certainly proved that age is just a number as he has made a comeback in team India in short format after 3 years at the age of 37 and that too when the Indian team management has made it clear that they are looking at youngsters only. The team management is preparing the squad for the T20 World Cup which is going to take place later this year in Australia and because of the same, the selectors preferred to include youngsters in the team but DK compelled them to select him in the team after performing incredibly for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2022.

Dinesh Karthik played the role of finisher to the perfection for RCB and played some really brilliant knocks in order to help his team win the matches. As a result, he was selected in team India for the 5-match T20I series which was played against South Africa at home and he justified his selection by playing a smashing knock of 55 runs (27 balls) in the fourth T20I. The series got tied at 2-2 as the fifth match didn’t take place due to rain but DK managed to get his name included in the team which will go on the Ireland tour where they will play two T20Is against Ireland.

Though DK had made his debut against England few days back yet he was not playing in this match. He stated that when a wicket fell, the substitute had to go with drinks for the players and he also went running with the drinks. He knew that he had to stop but the grass didn’t allow him to do so; he banged into the then skipper Sourav Ganguly from backside and made him walk 2-3 steps forward. Ganguly got angry and shouted from where you got these players & who he is.

As the video clip of this conversation was posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter, the former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who was a part of the playing XI revealed the exact words of Sourav Ganguly in his tweet.

Yuvraj wrote, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dada exact words! Kaun hai re ye pagal! Kahan se pakad ke Latien hai 🤣🤣🤣🤣 in the middle of india vs pak tense game! @DineshKarthik you’re hilarious @ImRo45”

Meanwhile DK has been selected for the Ireland tour as the wicketkeeper-batsman because Rishabh Pant is in England for the test assignment. Hardik Pandya who has performed in an exemplary manner and proved his leadership skills in the IPL 2022 will be leading the team in Ireland.

Here is the photo:

Take a closer look:

The online users were not able to understand what the need was to show bhujia or maggi in the glass despite the fact that everyone knows that Bollywood people drink and party a lot. Some even talked about the manner in which Ananya posed and few also talked about the hand of the guy who was standing with these three.

Man Shares How Ratan Tata ‘The Patriot’ Helped His Start-Up & Changed India’s Future

Ratan Tata is certainly one of the most popular and most respected persons of India and there is no denying the fact that he is an inspiration for many of us. The business tycoon who is a very simple and modest man is pretty active in the field of philanthropy as well and development of the country is at the top in his priority list.

Recently, people got to know about an interesting incident involving Ratan Tata which was narrated by a LinkedIn user who revealed how Ratan Tata helped him in setting up a startup and stopped two brilliant scientists from moving to the USA.

Sanjiv Kaul, the partner at ChrysCapital, calls Ratan Tata a patriot and talked about the time when he was flying from Mumbai to Delhi in 2004. He was very upset because his meeting with a big industrial house regarding investment for a startup didn’t go well and he was busy looking into his PowerPoint presentation in his laptop, trying to find out where he made a mistake. Suddenly, there was silence in the flight as Ratan Tata arrived and sat next to him.

Sanjiv Kaul once again got busy with his PowerPoint presentation and later on while having his meal, he spilled a glass of orange juice on himself. When Ratan Tata saw it, he helped him; the latter thanked Tata and once again got back to his presentation. As Sanjiv Kaul was very upset and sad, tears started flowing from his eyes and this was noticed by Ratan Tata.

He asked Sanjiv Kaul what the matter was and the latter told the former that India was all set to lose two brilliant scientists who wished to give the country its first pharmaceutical Research & Development company. Sanjiv Kaul told him about Advinus Therapeutics and its founders – Rashmi Barbhaiya and Kasim Mookhtiar and also informed that despite trying his level best, he would not be able to stop these two scientists from returning to the USA over the weekend.

Ratan Tata consoled Sanjiv Kaul, took his number and assured him that someone from Tata would give him a call soon. Sanjiv further stated that at 9 pm on the same day, he got a call and was asked to meet the senior officials of Tata next day at the Bombay House along with the two scientists. They went and gave presentation to the Tata Board and TATA Advinus got created. Kaul said that all this happened just because the patriot Ratan Tata didn’t want the country to lose those two scientists who stayed here for more than a decade and since then, more than 50 top scientists from the prestigious and leading institutions of the world have worked in Advinus.

Ratan Tata is certainly a living legend! Kudos!

“Not Available For Rs 299 Or 499,” John Abraham Reveals Why He Will Not Work On OTT As An Actor

The Bollywood actor John Abraham has a huge fan base that wants to see him on the OTT or digital platforms but what the actor has said in a latest interview may break the hearts of many.

The actor who is finding it tough to give a hit movie on the box-office in recent times states that as a producer, he loves the digital platforms and he will like to entertain the OTT audiences by making movies for them but the case is totally different when he thinks of himself as an actor.

John Abraham says that he is a hero who belongs to the big screen and that is the only place where he will like to be seen. He further says that as of now he will do films for the big screens only because he finds it a little disgusting that someone stops his flick midway because he has to go to washroom. The “Dhoom” actor further adds that one more thing he has a problem with is being available for Rs. 299 or Rs. 499.

While John Abraham has an issue with OTTs as he calls himself a big screen hero, many other famous actors and actresses have made their digital debut and some of them are getting more successful at the digital platforms in comparison to the silver screen.

John Abraham’s last release was “Attack: Part 1” in which he worked with Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Ferandez. The movie which was directed by Lakshya Raj Anand fell dud on the box-office. Prior to that, John was seen in “Satyamev Jayate 2” and “Mumbai Saga” and both of them failed in making an impact on audiences.

He will be seen next in “Ek Villain Returns” which is going to release on 29th July 2022 and also stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in important roles. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and it is a sequel of 2014 released “Ek Villain” which starred Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The first part was also directed by Mohit Suri and it was a hit at the box-office.

Other than this, John Abraham is also a part of one of the most awaited movies of Bollywood “Pathaan” which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

What do you think of John Abraham’s statement regarding OTTs? Do let us know.

Remember Rohit Sharma’s Controversial Comment About Mohammad Amir? Pak Pacer Responds

The India-Pakistan rivalry is pretty well-known in the cricket world, though these two nations have not played any bilateral series for a long time, yet they do face each other in international tournaments and such encounters are full of thrill and excitement for fans.

While Pakistan has a reputation of producing some really good pace bowlers, India is known for giving quality batsmen to the world, though now both the countries have started focusing on each aspect of the game so India is also producing good pacers and Pakistani team also some really good batsmen as well.

Mohammad Amir, the Pakistani pacer who made his debut for Pakistan in 2009, surprised everyone by taking retirement in the year 2020 at the age of 28. He has now opened up on the comments made by the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma on him after the 2016 Asia Cup.

In the Asia Cup 2016, India faced Pakistan at Sher-E-Bangla stadium, Mirpur, and though India had to score 84 runs only in the T20I match to win it, incredible bowling by Mohammad Amir made it a little tough for the Indians to achieve the target. The Indians may have won the match but we have to admit that Mohammad Amir made things very tough for India as he had sent Rohit Sharma (0), Ajinkya Rahane (0) and Suresh Raina (1) back to the dug-out quite early.

When Rohit Sharma was asked about Mohammad Amir’s wonderful bowling, Hitman asked mediapersons to stop talking about Amir as in his opinion, Amir was not the only bowler for Paksitan, there were five other bowlers too who bowled well. Rohit Sharma says that there is a lot of unnecessary hype around him and he is good but he has to prove himself on a repeated mode. He goes on to say that people have started comparing Amir with the Pakistani great Wasim Akram which is not correct because Amir is just a normal bowler who was good on that given day.

Recently in an interview, Mohammad Amir has opened up on this matter and in response to Rohit Sharma’s comments, he says that he does not take Rohit’s statement very seriously because everyone has his opinion and it is not compulsory for everyone to believe that he (Amir) is a world class bowler. Mohammad Amir adds that he doesn’t find anything to feel bad in it because as a professional player, he should not take things in a negative light and a person cannot be everyone’s favorite.

Mohammad Amir repeated his superb performance in the 2017 Champions Trophy as well when he dismissed Rohit Sharma again along with Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. While Rohit has given a little controversial statement about Mohammad Amir, the latter has a high opinion of Hitman and calls him a world class batter, however he also adds that Rohit always has difficulty in playing him.

Mohammad Amir has expressed his desire to play for the country once again last year in June but whether he will get a chance now is something which only time will tell.
