Sachin Tendulkar is certainly one of the greatest of all times and there was a time when the victory or defeat of the Indian cricket team depended on how Sachin used to perform in that match. The iconic player has been bestowed with Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award by the Government of India in 2013 and with this, he became the youngest recipient of the world and also the first sportsperson who got this award.

In his 24 years of career, Sachin has contributed immensely towards growth of the Indian cricket and he was also a member of the 2011 World Cup winning team. Remember Rohit Sharma’s Controversial Comment About Mohammad Amir? Pak Pacer Responds

The India-Pakistan rivalry is pretty well-known in the cricket world, though these two nations have not played any bilateral series for a long time, yet they do face each other in international tournaments and such encounters are full of thrill and excitement for fans.

While Pakistan has a reputation of producing some really good pace bowlers, India is known for giving quality batsmen to the world, though now both the countries have started focusing on each aspect of the game so India is also producing good pacers and Pakistani team also some really good batsmen as well.

Mohammad Amir, the Pakistani pacer who made his debut for Pakistan in 2009, surprised everyone by taking retirement in the year 2020 at the age of 28. He has now opened up on the comments made by the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma on him after the 2016 Asia Cup.

In the Asia Cup 2016, India faced Pakistan at Sher-E-Bangla stadium, Mirpur, and though India had to score 84 runs only in the T20I match to win it, incredible bowling by Mohammad Amir made it a little tough for the Indians to achieve the target. The Indians may have won the match but we have to admit that Mohammad Amir made things very tough for India as he had sent Rohit Sharma (0), Ajinkya Rahane (0) and Suresh Raina (1) back to the dug-out quite early.

When Rohit Sharma was asked about Mohammad Amir’s wonderful bowling, Hitman asked mediapersons to stop talking about Amir as in his opinion, Amir was not the only bowler for Paksitan, there were five other bowlers too who bowled well. Rohit Sharma says that there is a lot of unnecessary hype around him and he is good but he has to prove himself on a repeated mode. He goes on to say that people have started comparing Amir with the Pakistani great Wasim Akram which is not correct because Amir is just a normal bowler who was good on that given day.

Recently in an interview, Mohammad Amir has opened up on this matter and in response to Rohit Sharma’s comments, he says that he does not take Rohit’s statement very seriously because everyone has his opinion and it is not compulsory for everyone to believe that he (Amir) is a world class bowler. Mohammad Amir adds that he doesn’t find anything to feel bad in it because as a professional player, he should not take things in a negative light and a person cannot be everyone’s favorite.

Mohammad Amir repeated his superb performance in the 2017 Champions Trophy as well when he dismissed Rohit Sharma again along with Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. While Rohit has given a little controversial statement about Mohammad Amir, the latter has a high opinion of Hitman and calls him a world class batter, however he also adds that Rohit always has difficulty in playing him.

Mohammad Amir has expressed his desire to play for the country once again last year in June but whether he will get a chance now is something which only time will tell.

Man Fired In 2015 Without Reason Wins Legal Case With TCS, Gets Job Back & To Get 7 Yrs Salary

India has become a software hub in the last few years and a huge number of people have been employed in the software companies but these firms are also infamous for keeping employees benched for long periods as well as for mass layoff. The companies may get rid of the huge expenditure of salaries by firing employees but it definitely turns the life of an employee upside down because he has a family to support and has to pay his bills whether he has a job or not.

A remarkable judgment has been given by the Principal Labour Court which involves the software company Tata Consultancy Services and one of its employees who was fired by the firm in 2015. The name of the employee is Thirumalai Selvan who hails from Chennai and he was fired by TCS in a mass layoff in the year 2015. The 48 years old Selvan worked in TCS for 8 years at a managerial position. The reason that the company gave to sack him was that he was performing below par and this made Selvan take the decision of filing a case against his former employer.

Thirumalai Selvan graduated as a mechanical engineer and he worked in his core sector for 4 years before moving to the software sector in the year 2001. It was in 2006 that he shifted to TCS after doing a professional course for which he paid around Rs. 1 lakh.

After getting fired from TCS, Selvan was left with no choice other than doing odd jobs such as consultant, broker, etc. and his monthly income came down to Rs. 10K. In the court, the tech company claimed that as Selvan was working on a managerial position, he couldn’t be shifted to the category of a workman but the presiding officer C Kumarappan stated in an argument that hiding Selvan’s other duties is just an attempt to cover-up principal nature of his duty.

Representational Image

The court has ordered TCS to reinstate Thirumalai Selvan with continuity of service and also to pay him all the salary and benefits from the time he was sacked to the time he gets reinstated.

After this decision, the Forum for IT Employees (FITE) stated that this judgment is a reminder to all those organizations who fire employees or force them to resign.

Congratulations Thirumalai Selvan!

“Is Your Stomach Flat?,” Vidya Balan’s Reply To The Question Will Leave You In Splits

The Bollywood diva Vidya Balan is quite different from the regular actresses of the movie industry because she is not one of those who focus more on their zero figure rather than on their acting. Vidya is known for some really wonderful acting performances in flicks like “Parineeta”, “The Dirty Picture”, “No One Killed Jessica”, “Kahaani”, etc. She has done many female-oriented movies and it won’t be wrong to say that it is because of actresses like her that producers and directors are even trying to make women-centric films.

Vidya is also pretty active on social media and recently she posted a video in which she is seen doing lip-syncing but the manner in which she has done it, it makes the video really awesome.

In the video, the actress is seen having a cake when a voice is heard asking, “Is your stomach flat?” and Vidya responded with “Yes, it is but the L is silent”.

The post will leave you in splits:

The video has been loved by her fans very much and in just 3 days, it has received more than 160K likes. On the other hand, it won’t be wrong to say that she has spoken on behalf of many other women who face body shaming because of their weight.

How did you find Vidya Balan’s post? Hilarious, isn’t it?

Old Chat Of Rohit Sharma & Dinesh Karthik Goes Viral After DK’s Smashing 55 In Rajkot T20I

The Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has scripted one of the most inspirational stories of comeback as he has returned to team India after 3 long years despite the fact that the age is not his side. What makes his fans happier is the fact that he has justified his selection by playing a superb knock of 27-ball 55 runs in the Rajkot T20I against South Africa and played an important role in his team’s victory. Few former cricketers are of the opinion that he has already confirmed his place in the Indian squad which is going to play in the T20 World Cup.

Dinesh Karthik featured in the 2019 World Cup semi-final which India lost to New Zealand and after that he was out of the team but because of his superb performances for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2022, he forced the selectors to choose him for the recently concluded 5-match T20I series against South Africa.

The Tamil Nadu cricketer has left the Indian cricket fans awestruck and they have started calling him Dinesh Karthik 2.0 because nobody could ever have imagined that this 37 years old cricketer will again wear the blue jersey. Amidst all this, an old chat of Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma which took place in July 2021 when Dinesh Karthik was doing commentary is going viral.

DK is one of the very few cricketers who have done commentary even before taking retirement from the game and it was in the finals of the World Test Championship 2019-21 that he worked as a commentator. After that, he also did commentary in the The Hundred, a franchise based tournament which took place in England and during that time, he posted some photos of himself from a stadium in England with the caption, “Just me being me”.

The post caught attention of the Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma who reminded DK that he has some cricket still left in him.

To this, DK responded by saying, “@rohitsharma45 don’t ever doubt that sham”.

Rohit Sharma was absolutely correct at that time as DK is once again in the Indian team and he is the best example of the statement, “age is just a number”.

What do you think of DK’s comeback?
