“Never Say Never,” Jethalal Aka Dilip Joshi Reacts On Shailesh Lodha Quitting Taarak Mehta

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular and longest running TV shows of the Indian television as it has been running for the last 14 years and it won’t be wrong to say that its popularity is still intact despite being on air for such a long period of time. However, there are times when fans of the show get a little hurt whenever they get to hear about the exit of their favourite actor or actress from TMKOC.

Disha Vakani aka Dayaben had been missing from the show since 2017 after she went on maternity leave. After a quite long wait, it has been heard that the makers are getting ready to launch a new face for playing the iconic character but things have turned ugly again as there is news of Shailesh Lodha aka Taarak Mehta leaving the show.

The character of Shailesh Lodha is very important for the show as it is fire brigade (best friend) of leading character Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and every time Jethalal gets into a problem, it is Taarak Mehta who rescues him. While no comment or statement has been made in regard to the exit of Shailesh Lodha, neither by the actor nor by the makers, a statement by Dilip Joshi holds a lot of importance which he has made in this connection.

On being asked to comment on this matter, Dilip Joshi says that the change is inevitable and it certainly hurts when co-actors leave because a rhythm is set with them but we should “never say never” as Shailesh Lodha may return to the show.

When he was asked about his absence from the social media platforms, he says that actually he doesn’t have time because shooting is done for almost 12 hrs daily and after that when he returns home, he likes to spend time with his family. He added that social media is just like a monster, once a person gets addicted to it, it won’t leave that person again so it is better to be away from it.

While talking about the journey of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Dilip Joshi says that he can say only one thing that God has been really kind on all of them, especially on Asit Modi who decided to make a serial on the writings of legendary humorist, Taarak Bhai Mehta and gave all of them a chance to act in it. He further adds that we have many shows and movies come and go but they have managed to make a world record of the longest running show and it can happen only because of the God’s favor.

“They Put Test Series At Risk, Pretty Selfish,” Tim Paine Reacts To Restaurant Saga During INDvsAUS

India’s tour to Australia in 2020-21 for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is certainly one of the most memorable test series of all times as in this series, a relatively less-experienced Indian side went on to defeat the strong Australian side and that too, after suffering a humiliating defeat in the first test match. The Indian squad not only suffered a huge defeat in the first test but it also got out for its lowest total ever (36) and the then skipper Virat Kohli also returned for the birth of his first baby after the first test.

Team India suffered injuries too but under the charismatic leadership of Ajinkya Rahane, it went on to clinch the test series by 2-1 and also broke the 33 years old invincible record of the Aussies at The Gabba. However, the test series also had its share of controversies as Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were racially abused by the spectators and some Indian players were also accused of flouting the COVID-19 norms.

Those were the times of the COVID-19 pandemic and the players had to live in bio-bubble. After winning the second test match at Melbourne, some Indian players Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini and Prithvi Shaw chose to go out and celebrate the moment by having some food outside.

A video went viral in which these players were seen sitting inside a restaurant and the fan who made this video accepted that he not only paid the bill of these cricketers but also hugged one of the players. However, that fan also confirmed that the Indian players did maintain distance. Subsequently, these players were quarantined and were allowed to travel to Sydney only after their COVID-19 test results came negative.

The Indian players were slammed for flouting the COVID-19 rules and recently the then skipper of the Australian cricket team Tim Paine spoke on this matter in a docu-series, “Bandon Mein Tha Dum” which has been directed by Neeraj Pandey. The former skipper stated that in his honest opinion, those 4-5 guys were pretty selfish as they put the whole series at risk just for Nando’s, chips or something like that.

Pat Cummins, the current skipper of Australia also expressed himself on this matter and said that it did irritate few boys especially the ones who had to spend Christmas away from their families. He added that it was too much to be on the tour spending Christmas away from families and hearing that other team members were breaching the rules and taking things lightly.

Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian cricketer who led the team in the three test matches after Virat Kohli returned to India, also spoke in detail in this regard and claimed that news of the players flouting the rules was baseless. He said that the players who were seen in the photos were actually waiting for their takeaway order but they had to sit indoor as weather was bad.

Ajinkya Rahane stated that after losing the match in Melbourne, the Aussies started playing mind games and the Australian cricket board told the Indian team to undergo quarantine in Sydney despite the fact that everything was normal in Sydney and there was no restriction on people moving around but the players had to remain indoors.

This Ex-Cricketer Got Dropped From Team India, Was Picked For India A, Only To Carry Drinks

The Indian cricket was mainly known for producing some great spinners in the past barring some exceptions such as Kapil Dev but from 1990s, India has also started producing some good pacers such as Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan, Jasprit Bumrah etc. However, there were some who weren’t able to make their mark at the highest level despite getting a chance to play for the country and one of them was Mumbai cricketer Salil Ankola.

Salil Ankola made his debut in 1989 in the same match in which Sachin Tendulkar also debuted but his career was pretty short-lived and he was able to play only one test match and 20 ODIs. Recently, Salil Ankola gave an interview in which he talked about the dark phase of his life. He stated that he was dropped from the national team only to get selected for India A but over there he just used to carry drinks.

He added that from the year 2001, he was completely off-cricket and one of the biggest mistakes that he made was to refuse a job in cricket which was offered to him by Sony in 2001. He further said that he has no idea as to why he took such a stupid decision, may be because he got too much dejected from cricket because  of which he stopped even watching the game.

Salil Ankola’s personal life went for a toss in the year 2010 when he resorted to alcohol after getting separated from his wife and kids. However after ten years of rehabilitation and in a bid to get his life back, he returned to the game as he became the chief selector of Mumbai last year. He said that he was around 52 yrs of age at that time and once a person turns 50, his perception changes a lot. He realized that he was stubborn about many things at that time but now it does not make sense to him. He goes on to say that in the end such things trouble, for example in his case, he didn’t want to go back to cricket but in reality, he was missing the game.

Salil Ankola further added that he wanted to make a comeback as a coach but when he looked at the scenario in detail, he realized many changes have come in terms of coaching. He said that coaching in the present scenario is very different from coaching in 90s and he even enrolled for level 2 coach in NCA but then he wrote a letter to Rahul Dravid saying that he won’t be coming as he doesn’t see himself as coach. He wrote that coaching is not his cup of tea as he doesn’t have much patience and gets angry quickly.

Rishabh Pant Responds To Critics On His Repeated Batting Failures During INDvsSA Series

Rishabh Pant, the Indian cricketer who is currently leading team India in the 5-match T20I series against South Africa is going through a rough phase as he is not able to perform well with the bat in the series till now. He was appointed as the skipper of the team just one day before the series started as KL Rahul who was originally appointed the captain got injured and was ruled out of the series.

Earlier in the IPL 2022 also, Rishabh Pant was not able to perform well with the bat and even his captaincy came under radar because of a couple of controversial decisions. Some former cricketers even go on to say that Rishabh Pant doesn’t have the right attitude to lead the team. However at the moment, the wicketkeeper-batsman must be a little relieved as the series against South Africa got leveled by 2-2 after India defeated the visitors by 82 runs in the fourth T20I which was played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium, Rajkot, Gujarat.

The cricketer who stole the limelight was Dinesh Karthik as he not only took his team out of a problematic situation but also helped India in posting a competitive total of 169/6 on the scoreboard. DK scored 55 runs for which he played only 27 deliveries and his innings included 9 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Hardik Pandya who played a brilliant knock of 46 runs in 31 balls and he smashed 3 fours and the same number of maximums as well. The Indian bowlers also did a good job as they sent the whole SA team back in the dugout at just 87 runs and India won the match by 82 runs.

The stand-in skipper Rishabh Pant failed to make an impact as he got out for 17 runs and wasn’t able to play a big innings when his team needed the most. If we talk about this series, Pant has scored 29, 5, 6 and 17 and critics are constantly targeting him for his poor performance. What is more worrisome is the fact that he got out after trying to play a delivery which could have been wide and it once again raised questions on his shot selection and rash style of batting.

While speaking in the press conference after the match, Rishabh Pant was full of praises for DK and Hardik Pandya as he stated that he is really glad Hardik Pandya took the stand and DK went for the bounty because it was then the opposition bowlers came under pressure. It was straight fourth loss for Rishabh Pant as far as the toss was concerned and speaking about it, he said that they can only talk about the toss but finally it is the team usually which plays well and wins the match.

Talking about his own batting, he confesses that there are some areas in which he needs to improve; however there is nothing much serious. He adds that he is looking at the positives and hopefully he will be able to give 100 percent in Bangalore.

“He’s Dinesh Karthik 2.0,” Excited Fans React After DK’s Smashing 55 Runs In 29 Balls Against SA

The Indian team succeeded in leveling the 5-match T20I series against South Africa by 2-2 after defeating the visitors in the fourth T20I which was played yesterday at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

The Indian top-order crumbled after the South African skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked team India to bat first as the openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (5) and Ishan Kishan (27) got out soon. The skipper Rishabh Pant (17) and Shreyas Iyer (4) also failed in making a big score. In fact, there was a time when the Indian squad was 84/1 and it seemed as if it won’t be able to touch even the 150-mark but Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya played superb innings of 55 runs (27 balls, 9 fours & 2 sixes) and 46 runs (31 balls, 3 fours & 3 sixes), respectively and helped their team in putting up a competitive total of 169/6 on the score board.

In response, the South African side was not able to put up a good fight as the whole team got wrapped up by the Indian bowlers at the score of 87/9 and India won the match by 82 runs. Avesh Khan picked 4 wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed 2 batsmen and both the Patel’s (Harshal and Axar) took 1-1 wicket each.

The Player of the Match award was given to Dinesh Karthik, the cricketer who is in sublime form of his career. DK managed to make a comeback in team India after a long gap of 3 years on the basis of his pretty good performances that he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2022.

The crowd at Rajkot went crazy for DK as he tore apart the South African bowling, 73 runs were scored in the last 5 overs and out of this 73, 49 runs were scored by DK. This was the first half-century of Dinesh Karthik in the shortest format and with this fifty, he surpassed MS Dhoni in terms of the oldest Indian to score a fifty in the T20Is.

Samrat Prithviraj Maker Recalls Akshay Saying “If People Reject It, I’ll Go Back To Rowdy Rathore”

Akshay Kumar starrer “Samrat Prithviraj” turned out to be a disaster at the box-office as the movie was made on a huge budget of Rs. 200 crore but after two weeks of its release, its run will be ending under Rs. 70 crore. What has surprised everyone is the fact that the film got a good opening of Rs. 10.70 crore but as the time progressed, the earnings kept on reducing because viewers rejected the movie in an outright manner. The flick which has been produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi also marks the Bollywood debut of Manushi Chillar, the Miss World 2017.

Recently, the director of the movie Chandraprakash Dwivedi opens up on the failure of “Samrat Prithviraj” and states that he is not able to understand why the film has failed in impressing audiences. He stated that though the movie was made on a big scale yet it failed in creating a connect with viewers and he couldn’t get what went wrong because the writers did their work with complete honesty and no liberty had been taken with the history. The director further said that this was the first historical movie by YRF and if it had succeeded, they would have thought of making some more but now they would keep on doing what there were doing earlier.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi also revealed that he wrote the story keeping in mind Bollywood actor Sunny Deol in the lead role 18 years ago but he didn’t get the support of producers because of which his flick got delayed. Talking about Akshay Kumar, Dwivedi said that Khiladi Kumar told him personally that he was making “Rowdy Rathore” and “Housefull”; “Samrat Prithviraj” is an experiment and if it doesn’t work, he will go back to what he was doing. Dwivedi further said that Akshay Kumar told him people prefer to watch movies which have no controversies and he will keep on doing that type of movies as it makes him earn more as well.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi was also upset because he felt that his flick was politically targeted. He said that he would have been happy if questions and objections had been raised on his film rather than rejecting it completely.

As far as the failure of “Samrat Prithviraj” is concerned, the trade experts are of the opinion that the movie may have flopped because the trailer failed in creating excitement among audiences. Akshay Kumar was a mismatch as he looked like Akshay Kumar and not as Samrat Prithviraj and the music of the film is also not good. Some trade experts were also of the opinion that the scale of the movie was not high enough and heroism was also missing in the movie despite the fact that Samrat Prithviraj was a very brave and a great king.
